Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(S1):-
Objective To study the effect of Lamivudine therapy in preventing disease progression in patients with the chronic serious hepatitis B during the short-term. Methods 40 patients with the chronic serious hepatitis B, who have the trend of developing severe hepatitis, were randomized into treating group(n=20) and control group (n=20).The two groups were given the same synthetic treatment. Treating group was given Iamivudine 100mg daily in addition, for 8 weeks. Effects were assessed by clinical , biochemical , the incidence of chronic severe hepatitis, suvival rates and virologic parameters. Results (1) After 8-weeks treatment , the incidence of chronic severe hepatitis in treating group was lower than in control group(X~2=4. S1 ,P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(20):-
Objective To observe the relationship of the Janus kinase-signal transducers and activator of transcription pathway and neurogenesis in the lateral ventricle subventricular zone(SVZ) and choroid plexus of neonatal rats with periventricular leukomalacia(PVL).Methods PVL models were established by right common carotid artery ligation followed by 4 h 60 mL/L oxygen exposure in 2-day-rat;the neonatal rats performed a sham operation, without hypoxia-ischemia were used as control group. The rats were sacrificed at 0 h,3 h,6 h,12 h,1 d,3 d and 7 d after hypoxic-ischemic(HI),and brain tissues were collected, immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of P-STAT3 and Nestin in the subventricular zone and choroid plexus. Results Very low expressions of P-STAT3 and Nestin were observed in lateral ventricle SVZ and choroid plexus in control group. The expression levels of P-STAT3 and Nestin increased significantly after HI,peaked at 1 d and 3 d separately, and remained at a higher level at 7 d after HI,demonstrating significant differences at each time point compared with those in control group(Pa

Objective To introduce a modified intraoral fixed appliance for maxillary protraction and to investigate the dentofacial changes of anterior crossbite after the therapy. Methods Twelve patients with anterior crossbite were treated with modified protraction therapy. The cephalometric analysis was used to evaluate the changes. Results After active treatment, the overjet correction was 6.55 mm. A point moved forward 2.6 mm. Pg dislocated backward 5.65mm with MP-FH increased 1.7?. Esthetics was greatly enhanced. Conclusion The modified maxillary protraction is recommended for easy fabrication, good retention, wearing comfortably and cleaning easily. Esthetics is greatly enhanced.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2022;34(9):898-901
Abstract
Obesity is a major global public health problem. Long-term sleep deprivation has been identified as a major risk factor of obesity among adults, and oversleeping is found to correlate with the increased risk of obesity. Based on systematic reviews, meta-analysis and prospective cohort studies of the association between sleep and obesity among adults published during the period between 2017 and April, 2022, this review summarizes the direct impact of sleep on obesity among adults, the improvements of adult obesity by sleep and the immune, endocrine, energy metabolism, dietary habit and psychological mechanisms of obesity affected by sleep, so as to provide insights into the development of interventions against adult obesity.

Objective To observe the effect of ephedrine on the expression of eotaxin in human bronchial epithelial cells (16HBE) stimulated by tumor necrosis factor‐α(TNF‐α) and to explore the mechanism of Chinese medicine ephedra in treating asthma .Methods The in vitro cultured 16HBE were randomly divided into the control group ,TNF‐αstimulation group(TNF‐α20 ng/mL) and TNF‐αplus ephedrine group (TNF‐α20 ng/mL plus ephedrine 300 μg/mL) .Three complex holes in each group were set to culture for 18 h ,the eotaxin mRNA expression was measured by real time fluorescent quantified PCR and protein level was detected by immunocytochemical stain and Western blot .The eotaxin concentration in cells culture supernatant was quantified by ELISA .Results Compared with the the control group ,the expression level of eotaxin mRNA and protein ,and the concentration of eotaxin in cell culture supernatant in the TNF‐α stimulation group were increased obviously ,there being statisticaly significant difference between them(P<0 .01);however ,all above these parameters in the TNF‐αplus ephedrine group showed decreased obvi‐ously as compared with the TNF‐αgroup ,the difference between them was statistically significant (P<0 .01) .Conclusion Ephed‐rine can inhibit the expression and secretion of eotaxin in TNF‐α induced 16HBE inflammatory model ,which may be one of the mechanisms of Chinese medicine ephedra in treating asthma .

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(11):2106-2111
Lysimachiae Herba and Desmodii Styracifolii Herba are common traditional Chinese medicines for treating lithiasis. Both of them have efficacies of clearing heat, diuresis and eliminating calculi. However, there are some differences in their clinic applications. The former is mainly used to treat hepatolithiasis, gallstones, jaundice, stranguria and gout; Whereas the latter is mainly used to treat urinary calculus. In this paper, the pharmacological effects of Lysimachiae Herba and Desmodii Styracifolii Herba on removing calculus, choleresis, anti-inflammation and oxidation resistance were compared and analyzed based on document retrieval. In conclusion, both of them show the preventive and therapeutic effects on kidney stones and gallstones. Particularly, Desmodii Styracifolii Herba has a better effect in treating the kidney stones, while Lysimachiae Herba has a better effect in treating cholesterol gallstones.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(06):-
[Objective]To investigate the effects of self-contrive antomical dynamic hip lock plate(ADHLP) in fixation of intertrochanteric fracture.[Method]Seventy-three cases (male 52,female 21) of intertrochanteric fracture were treated by internal fixation with ADHLP.The age were from 19~92y,average 54.7y.Traumatic causes:traffic accident,32 cases;pedesteian tumble,21 cases;fall from height,9 cases;other reasons,11 cases. According to the evans' classification:type Ⅰ,42 cases;type Ⅱ,17 cases;type Ⅲ,9 cases;type Ⅳ,5cases.[Result]Operating time averaged 60 minutes(ranged from 40~90 minutes). Blood loss in operation:average 200 ml (ranged from 100~400 ml).Complication was not found,(such as:coxa vara;femoral head concis;rotation displacement;infection;re-fracture;lock plate broken or loosening,et al.).All cases were followed-up from 6 to 48 months, average 36 months. The function of all hips were satisfactory. The excellent and good rate was 98.6%.[Conclusion]ADHLP in fixation of intertrochanteric fracture is accord with the demands of biomechanism,The indication is widespread, applicable for osteoporotic patients or old patients mespecial. This operation is simple and reliable, with little invasive injury and less blood losing.

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2006;0(01):-
The ligament deficiency has very high incidence, which can lead to disability and progressive degeneration of other structures of the joint. There is no efficient clinical treatment can fully reconstruct the injured ACL. Tissue engineering scaffold provides a novel technique to regenerate new ligament tissue ingrowth both in vitro and vivo. Thus the materials for scaffolds are especially important. The scaffolds must be biocompatible, absorbable, and primarily can induce new tissue ingrowth. This review focuses mainly on collagen and silk fibroin, which showed better proprieties for the ligament reconstruction, and also glances at several other scaffold materials. There are some progresses in the scaffold materials, but it is far away from the clinical use. Finally, the trend for the future development is outlined here.
