Objective To investigate the clinical application of ultrasound biomicroscopy in the treatment of congenital corneal opacities. Methods Medical records of 20 eyes (15 patients) with congenital corneal opacity treated at our hospital from July 2004 to November 2011 were retrospectively reviewed.Best corrected visual acuity testing, intraocular pressure testing,slit-lamp anterior segment examination, fundus examination,slit-lamp microscopic photography,B scan examination, and ultrasound biomicroscopy were performed for analysis of complications of congenital corneal opacity and selection of surgical approaches. Results The ultrasound biomicroscopic examination showed that 5 eyes had no Descemet's membrane and corneal endothelium,20 eyes had anterior synechia,5 eyes had aniridia,3 eyes had loss of lens cortex,13 eyes had cataract,14 eyes had closed angle, and 3 eyes had pupillary membrane.14 of 20 eyes received surgical treatment, including penetrating keratoplasty combined with cataract extraction and trabeculectomy (5 eyes),penetrating keratoplasty combined with pupil angioplasty (3 eyes),penetrating keratoplasty combined with cataract extraction (3 eyes),penetrating keratoplasty combined with trabeculectomy (2 eyes),and lamellar keratoplasty (1 eye). Conclusions Ultrasound biomicroscopy is important to guide the diagnosis and treatment of congenital corneal opacity.
4.Study of anti-aging effect and its mechanism of total saponins of Wu-He Dipsacus asper on skin of mouse-aging model.
Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2015;31(2):166-169
OBJECTIVETo Study the effect of anti-aging and its mechanism of total saponins of Wu-He Dipsacus asper on skin of mice-aging model.
METHODSForty-eight mice were randomly divided into blank control group, model group, low-Dipsacus group, medium-Dipsacus group, high-Dipsacus group and positive control group( n = 8) . The mouse model of skin aging was established by nape subcutaneous injection of 5% D-galactose (0.025 mL/(g · d)), the mouse of low-Dipsacus group, medium-Dipsacus group, high-Dipsacus group were administered with total saponins of Wu-He Dipsacus asper (50 ml/(kg · d), 100 mL/(kg · d), 200 mL/(kg · d)), the mice of the positive control group were administered with vitamin E(50 mg/(kg · d)) for 42 d. The content of hydroxyproline (HYP) and lipofuscin (LF) were measured in skin of each group mice, the activity of catalase (CAT) glutathione peroxidase ( GSH-Px) superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the content of malondi- aldehyde (MDA) were determined in serum and skin of each group mice.
RESULTSCompared with blank control group, the content of HYP decreased significantly and the content of LF increased significantly in skin, the activities of CAT, GSH-Px and SOD decreased significantly and the content of MDA increased significantly in serum and skin of model group; Compared with model group, the content of HYP increased significantly and the content of LF decreased significantly in skin, the activities of CAT, GSH-Px and SOD enhanced significantly and the con- tent of MDA decreased significantly in serum and skin of low-Dipsacus group, medium-Dipsacus group, high-Dipsacus group and positive control group; Compared with low-Dipsacus group, the content of HYP increased significantly and the content of LF decreased significantly in skin, the activities of CAT, GSH-Px and SOD enhanced significantly and the content of MDA decreased significantly in serum and skin of high-Dipsacus group and positive control group; The activity of SOD in serum and skin had a significant positive correlation with the content of HYP, and a significant negative correlation with LF in skin.
CONCLUSIONTotal saponins of Wu-He Dipsacus asper have obvious effect of anti-agng on skin of mouse-aging model , its mechanism is closely related to oxidative damage.

6.Determination of Entrapment Efficiency of Loratadine Binary Ethosomes by Sephadex Microcolumn Com-bined with HPLC
China Pharmacist 2015;(2):244-246
Objective:To establish a method to determine the entrapment efficiency of loratadine binary ethosomes. Methods:The gel microcolumn centrifugation method was employed to separate the free drug from loratadine binary ethosomes. The content of lorata-dine was determined by HPLC to calculate the entrapment efficiency. Results: A calibration linear curve of loratadine concentration was within the range of 10. 2-102. 0 μg·ml-1(r=0. 999 5). The average entrapment efficiencies of three batches of loratadine binary ethosomes were 86. 75%, 87. 26% and 86. 00%, respectively. Conclusion:The method is simple and rapid, and can be used to de-termine the entrapment efficiency of loratadine binary ethosomes accurately.

Objective To evaluate if the enteral nutrition have effect on the immune function and in- flammatory reaction after operating about gastric carcinoma. Methods 58 postoperative patients suffering from stomach cancer and colon cancer were randomly divided into the EN group and the TPN group. On the first postoperative day, nutrition fibre were given via nasal intestinal tube, increasing the capacity and drop- ping speed day by day until patients can eat liquid diet. While patients in the TPN group didn't eat anything until enterokinesia completely recovered.Observing on preoperative day 1 and on postoperative day 3 and day 8 respectively to check IgA,IgG,IgM,C3,C4,CRP,LYM,LYM%,TP,ALB,PA.Results The results showed that on the postoperative day 8,the target ascension extent was higher than that in the PN group. The statistical significance was very obvious(P
8.Clinical application of incentive spirometry in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease after thora-cotomy
Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2015;(1):45-47
Objective To discuss the feasibility on reducing the postoperative pulmonary complications ( PPC) incidence after thoracot-omy on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ( COPD) though application of incentive spirometry ( IS) . Methods 62 patients with COPD concurrent thoracotomy were divided into control group and observation group, the control group was given routine nebulization, expectoration and other physical treatment;the observation group were given IS besides the conventional treatment. The incidence of PPC,prognosis, and the changes on pulmonary function were compared between these two groups. Results The incidence of PPC and mortality of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group, and the inspiratory capacity( IC) from 3~5 days was significantly higher than that of con-trol group. Conclusion Application of IS can reduce the PPC incidence after thoracotomy on COPD patients, and promote the recovery of pulmonary function.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(04):-
In natural condition, two years were needed for Panax quinquefolius seeds to break dormancy. In the first year, the embryo developed slowly, and the activities of amylase and peroxidase were low. In the second year the embryo developed rapidly, and the activities of both enzymes also increased gradually. But with the treatment of hormones enzymatic activ ities accelarated remarkably and speeded up the decomposition of stored nutrients in endos perm, so that starch and non-reducing sugar decreased while reducing sugar incrcased rapidly, resulting in earlier germination.
