Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(22):-
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the intrathoracic injection of polysachride nucleic acid fraction of Bacillus Calmette Guerin(BCG PSN) combined with mitomycin and cisplatin for the treatment of lung cancer with malignant pleural effusion. Methods A total of 53 lung cancer patients with malignant pleural effusion were randomly divided into two groups: BCG PSN combined with chemotherapy group (treatment group, 27 patients) and simple chemotherapy group (control group, 26 patients). Drugs were injected into thoracic cavity, which was repeated every 7 day interval. Effective rate, Karnofsky score and toxicities were evaluated. Results After treatment, the effective rate was 88.8% in treatment group and 53 9% in the control group. Significant difference was found in the two groups( P

Objective To evaluate the value of breast molybdenum target radiography in evaluating the enlarged axillary lymph nodes in breast diseases. Methods 79 patients underwent breast molybdenum target radiography, including conventional laxial and oblique projection. Some of them were examine furtheremore in compress projection in axillary fossa. The X-ray findings were analysis. And radiologic-pathologic correlation were carried out. Results There were 46 cases of brease carcinoma, 20 cases of hyperplasia,7cases of fibroadenoma,2 cases of plasmacytic mammitis,2cases of lipoma and 2 cases of papilloma in 79 patients. In the 33 cases of breast benign lesion , the enlarged axillary lymph nodes were seen bilaterally in 12 cases, sum was 1 to 5 in each case, smaller than 2 cm in diameter in 31 cases and uneven density in 13 cases were showed. In the 46 cases of brease carcinoma, the enlarged lymph nodes were seen laterally in 43cases, sum was 1 to 4 in each cases, larger than 2 cm in diameter was showed in 17 cases, and all were even density. There were statistical differences in number, diameter and density of enlarged lymph nodes between two groups. Conclusion The enlarged axillary lymph nodes are of different X-ray features in breast benign lesion and malignant lesion,it is helpful in differential diagnosis of breast diseases.

Objective To investigate the roles of connective tissue growth factor(CTGF) in airway remodeling in asthmatic rats by observation of the changes of CTGF expression in the lungs of asthmatic rats. Methods Rats were sensitized and challenged continually with ovalbumin(OVA) for the purpose of induction of asthma in rats. The distribution and types of collagens were detected by Cirius red staining. Lung hydroxyproline content was determined by acid hydrolysis. CTGF expression in rat pulmonary tissues was detected by SABC immunohistochemistry. Results After continual challenging with OVA for 21 days, collagen hyperplasia was found in the airway wall and CTGF positive expression in airway epithelium. CTGF expression was closely associated with lung hydroxyproline content ( r =0.63, P

Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(7):538-540
Matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)plays an important role in the degradation of extracellular matrix components, which is crucial for tumor growth, invasion and metastasis. As one with the largest relative molecular mass in MMP family,MMP-9 takes part in the generation and progression of colorectal cancer. Research shows that MMP-9 can be used for the early diagnosis of colorectal cancer. The expression levels of MMP-9 in tissue and plasma are negatively correlated with prognosis of the postoperative patients with colorectal cancer. In addition, targeted therapy drugs will be designed on the basis of MMP-9 expression increased in colorectal cancer.

Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2016;34(8):610-613
Objectives To study the clinical characteristics and early diagnosis of infant with both alpha 1 antitrypin deficiency (α1-ATD) and biliary atresia (BA). Methods The clinical characteristics, serum biochemical parameters, gene mutations and treatment of one infant with both α1-ATD and BA was reported. Related literatures about liver disease caused by α1-ATD were reviewed and analyzed. Results The infant was characterised with neonatal cholestasis, hepatomegaly, elevated serum ALT, AST, total bilirubin (TB), direct bilirubin (DB) and γ-glutamyltransferase (γ-GT) and absence of bile secretion from the duodenal drainage tube. BA was conifrmed by laparotomy and pathological examination and Kasai′s operation was performed. Further, the infant was confirmed by SERPINA 1 gene mutation analysis, which leads to the diagnosis of α1-ATD. The case of infant with both alpha 1 ATD and BA has not yet been reported at home and abroad. According to the literatures, children with α1-ATD were characterized with cholestasis, hepatomegaly, hypoproteinemia, high serum ALT and AST, coagulation disorders caused by vitamin K 1 deifciency and hepatic dysfunction. Prognosis was poor without early diagnosis and treatment. Conclusions For infant cholestasis, a lot of auxiliary examinations should be performed to identify the etiology of cholestasis. Gene analysis could help differential diagnosis. Prompt diagnosis and early treatment are the key to improve the survival rate and prognosis.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(02):-
The antioxidation of Zea pollinium in rats was studied. Twenty four 5-month old Wistar rats were selected, and randomly divided into control group (basal diet) and bee pollen group (diet containing 10% bee pollen). After feeding with the diet for 10 weeks, the results showed that the MDA levels in serum and liver were 5.73 ?0.22nmol/ml and 0.1951 ? 0.0049nmol/mg protain respectively in the bee pollen group, obviously lower than those of the control group (8.23?0.21nmol/ml and 0.2497?0.0083nmol/mg protein) (p

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
Objective To explore the expression level of calmodulin (CaM) in non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) and its clinical significance. Methods The expression levels of CaM and CaM mRNA were detected in 64 human NSCLC samples by immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization, respectively. Results The positive rates of CaM mRNA and CaM protein were 60.4% and 65.6%, respectively. The positive rates of CaM mRNA in low-differentiated samples were significantly higher (70.0%) than those in moderate- to well-differentiated samples (45.3%). The expression rates of CaM in Ⅲ-Ⅳ stages (81.8%) were significantly higher than those inⅠ-Ⅱstages (51.6%) (P

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(05):-
Objective To explore the relationship of the expression levels of laminin (LN) and calmodulin (CaM) in non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) with its metastasis and prognosis. Methods The expressions of CaM and LN were detected in 64 human NSCLC samples by immunohistochemistry. Results The expressions of LN and CaM were closely associated with the differentiation and the grades of NSCLC as well as the lymph node metastasis. The positive rates of LN in adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma were 45.1% and 69.7 (P0.05), respectively. The positive rate of LN protein in low-differentiated samples (36.6%) was significantly lower than that in moderate- to well-differentiated samples (61.7%), but the positive rates of CaM were 73.3% in low-differentiated samples and 41.1% in moderate- to well-differentiated samples (P
