Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(17):-
As we known, serum creatinine(Scr),serum urea nitrogen(SUN) and creatinine clearance rate(Ccr),the most established marker of renal function, are affected by age, gender, muscle mass or nutritional status.Scr determines the glomerular filtration rate(GFR) improperly.Serum Cystatin C(sCys C) is freely filtered at the glomerulus and then resorbed and fully catabolised by proximal renal tubules,ma-king it an ideal marker of GFR.It is not affected by gender, muscle mass or malignancy, its production rate is usually constant and its plasma concentration therefore is dependent only on GFR.sCys C has been demonstrated to be more accurate and sensitive than Scr in the detection of early renal impairment and in specific populations may allow for early detection of renal disease. The aim is to discuss the advantages and limitations of sCys C and of established GFR methods.
3. Endoscopic nasal lateral wall dissection approach for benign lesions of maxillary sinus
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(5):561-564
Objective: To report our experience on endoscopic nasal lateral wall dissection approach for treatment of refractory benign maxillary sinus diseases. Methods: The data of 8 patients, who had relapsing maxillary diseases 2 to 4 times after maxillary sinus or ethmoid sinus surgery, were retrospectively analyzed. The patients included 6 males and 2 females, with an average age of (55 + 14) years(41-69 years). Under general anesthesia the operation started from an incision in front of the inferior turbinate (IT),then the lacrimal duct(LD) was dissected to form a IT-LD flap. The flap was placed inwardly and the maxillary sinus lesion was removed under endoscope. The inferior antrostomy was performed when necessary. The possibility of maxillary sinus malignant lesions was ruled out by postoperative pathology. Results: Postoperative pathological findings confirmed that the lesions were all benign. The follow-up period ranged from 6-14 months. Five patients were cured and 3 were improved 6 months after operation. There were no complications such as cheek numbness, epiphora, orbital hemorrhage, visual disorder or cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea during follow-up. Conclusion:The endoscopic nasal lateral wall dissection approach provides a wider vision field and allows for a thorough removal of maxillary sinus lesions, while reserving the LD and IT.
4.Myocardial Damage Presented with Abdominal Pain in 33 Children
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(13):-
Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics, treatment and prognosis of myocardial damage presented with abdominal pain in children. Methods The clinical data of 33 children with myocardial damage presented with abdominal pain in Beijing Anzhen Hospital during the past 4 years were analyzed.Emergency conditions were ruled out in all cases. Results Among 33 cases with myocardial damage presented with abdominal pain, there were 10 cases of pneumonia,9 cases of acute bronchitis,7 cases of upper respiratory tract infection,1 case of allergic purpura,1 case of myocarditis and 5 cases of unknown causes. The duration of abdominal pain lasted 2 days to 3 months. The characteristics and the duration of abdominal pain were irregular.Mycoplasma antibodies positive were 5 cases (2 cases of bronchitis,3 cases of pneumonia).Coxvirus antibodies were 2 cases. There were different symptoms and signs of myocardial damage.Holter:there were ST-T changes in 23 children and 17 frequent premature ventricular complex(pattern of bigeminy and trigeminy in 7 children, premature atrial complex in 4 children).Creatine kinase isoenzyme-MB were high in 21 children(30-124 U?L-1).Cardiac troponin I were high in 19 children(0.8-1.2 ng?L-1).Chest X-ray:cardiomegaly was noted in 7 children, and the ratio of cardiac and chest were 0.55-0.58.Echocardiography:the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter was enlarged in 5 children, the right atrium was enlarged in 1 child. Most abdominal pain was relieved with treatment in 5 to 7 days, and 14 days was the longest.Total treatment course was 2 weeks to 1 month, and 3 months was the longest. But 1 case with myocarditis was recurrent abdominal pain treated nearly 3 months, and lasted to 6 months for recovery. Conclusions It is important to pay attention to cardial examination early, when a child becomes inconsolable from abdominal pain but emergency conditions should be ruled out.

China Oncology 2001;0(05):-
FOXO3a is an important member of the forkhead box family. The expression of FOXO3a is correlated with cell transformation, tumor development and angiogenesis. FOXO3a inhibited tumor cell growth and progression through upregulation of the expression of Bim, p27Kip1 and tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL). The activation of FOXO3a is modulated by Akt, I?K? and oxidative stress. It has been demonstrated that FOXO3a was closely related to some generally accepted prognostic factors. Therefore, FOXO3a may become a new prognostic factor of breast cancer. This review focused on the structure of FOXO3a, the role of FOXO3a expression on breast cancer and the relationship between FOXO3a and the generally accepted prognostic factor of breast cancer.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(6):981-991
To study the effect of different storage conditions and storage time on herb quality of Lonicera macranthoides, different packaging materials including vacuum plastic bags, plastic bags, woven bags, sealed with endometrial bags, paper bags, sack bags were selected for the study under different storage conditions including room temperature, 5 degrees C refrigerator, low temperature of - 20 degrees C refrigerator and desiccator. Twenty-four batches of samples were used for the study, and active ingredients were determined. The experimental results showed that the ingredients in each storage group changed with the storage time, storage conditions (storage environment, packaging). Under the same storage time, the storage environment (temperature, humidity) had effect on the stability of herb quality. Low temperature had less effect on herb quality. The effect of packaging on herb quality was as following: plastic vacuum packaging > woven with endometrial sealed packaging > plastic bag > woven bag > sack bags > paper bags. Under the same storage conditions, with the increase of storage time, caffeic acid content increased slowly, and other five ingredients content decreased gradually. Storage time affected significantly on the intrinsic quality (chemical composition) and appearance of herb. It is suggested that low temperature (5 degrees C), dark and sealed storage are suitable for storage of L. macranthoides herb, the storage time should be not more than 24 months.
