2.Effect of 99Tc-methylenediphosphonate on cytonike-induced activation of retroocular fibroblasts with Graves ophthalmopathy
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(9):830-833
Background Graves ophthalmopathy is generally considered to be an organ-speeifie autoimmune disease. It was reported that 99Tc-methylenediphosphonate (99Tc-M)P) has therapeutic effect on Graves ophthalmopathy, though the mechanism has not been completely delineated. Objective This study was to explore the effects of 99Tc-MDP on the proliferation of retrooeular fihrohlasts (RFs) hyaluronic acid (HA) synthesis, and the expression rate of human leucocyte antigen-DR (HLA-DR) and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) in cultured RFs.Methods Retroocular connective tissue was obtained from 2 eyes with Graves ophthalmopathy during the orbital decompression surgery.RFs were cultured with explant culture method in DMEM medium with 20%fetal bovine serum. The cells of 2-7 generations were used in the study.Interferon γ (IEN-γ),interleukin-1 (IL-1),tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) was added in medium for 72 hours to stimulate the growth of the RFs,and then 10,100 and 1000 mg/L 99Tc-MDP was respectively used to co-culture the cells with IFN-γ,IL-1 or TNF-α.3H-TdR incorporation was used to detect the proliferation of RFs,and synthesis of HA,expression rate of HLA-DR and ICAM-1 in RFs were assayed by radio-immunoassay and flow cytometry, respeetively. Results Cultured cells showed the fibrous shape under the inverted microseope with the positive response for vimentin and absent response for cytokeratine. After addition of TNF-α,IFN-γ and IL-1,the proliferation value of RFs,HA level, the expression rate of HLA-DR and ICMA-1 in RFs was (4918.33±297.91) counts/min,(505.83±41.29)mg/L,(56.88±14.67)% and (63.57± 14.11)% respectively, showing significant differenee in comparison with normal control group(P<0.01).However,after co-culture of >100 mg/L 99Tc-MDP with TNF-α,IFN-γ and IL-1,the proliferation value of RFs,HA level, the expressing rates of HLA-DR and ICMA-1 were significantly lower than those in the TNF-α,IFN-γ and IL-1 only culture groups(P<0.01),but were still higher than those in the normal group. Conclusions 99Tc-MDP can suppress cytonike-induced activation and growth of RFs derived from Graves ophthalmopathy in vitro at a dosedependent manner.
3.Ten Cases of Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy with an Onset of Acute Glomerulonephritis
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(05):-
Objective To analyze the clinical features of immunoglobulin A(IgA) nephropathy(IgAN) occurring in the context of pre-vious acute glomerulonephritis. Methods The clinicopathologic features of 108 cases(77 males,31 females, aged 3.2 to 14.0 years old) of IgAN were analyzed restrospectively with the onset of acute glomerulonephritis in this department from Jan.1994 to Dec.2005.Results Of 108 cases with IgAN,10 cases were with the onset of acute glomerulonephritis. All the 10 cases presented with edema, hematuria and proteinuria.Eight cases had macroscopic hematuria, lasting for 2 days to 2 months.Four cases had recurrent macroscopic hematuria, microscopic hematuria lasting for 16 months.Urine protein qualitative +-+++ lasted for 1-8 months. Two cases had hypertension;2 cases had increasing blood uria nitrogen and serum creatinine. The increase of anti-streptolysin O(ASO) titer was detected in 5 of 9 cases. Two cases had a high titer of DNase-B antibody, and 4 cases had hypocomplementemia.Eight cases had prodromal infection with an interval time varying from 1 to 5 days.Renal biopsies revealed mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis in 9 cases and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis in 1 case, all with mesan-gial IgA deposition. Conclusions The interval time between the prodromal infection and nephritis symptoms is mostly short in IgAN with the onset of acute glomerulonephritis, while macroscopic and microscopic hematuria remain a fairly long time or recurrently aggravate. Renal biopsy is necessary to diagnose IgAN for this kind of children.
4.Advance in Cerebral Ischemic Model with Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion in Rats(review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(11):939-940
The middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) in rats remained a focus cerebral ischemic model that is non-incisioned,reliable,as well as the ischemic and refusion time can be controlled, which is widely used since it was created. However, because it is needed complex operations, associatied with many factors,it is difficult to establish. Many scholars have modified the operation, shape of the occlusion line,as well as the variety, narcotic drugs and so on.
5.Spinal Locomotor Pattern Generator (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(12):1017-1020
It is generally accepted that locomotion in mammals, including humans, is based on the activity of neuronal circuits within the spinal cord (the central pattern generator, CPG). Recent studies indicate a plastic behavior of the spinal neuronal circuits following a spinal cord injuries (SCI). Studies have shown that body weight support treadmill training (BWSTT) is effective in restoring locomotor function in cats with a complete spinal lesion. It has become possible to regain some locomotor activity in patients with spinal cord injury through an intense training on BWSTT, as in cat. So, it is a staired problem how to take advantage of the plasticity of spinal locomotor pattern generator and design the gait training program for SCI patients.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2014;49(5):569-575
Ginseng is a typical adaptogen which has resistance to various stresses. This effect is related to the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. As the main active ingredients, saponin has the similar structure to steroids. The regulation characteristics of ginseng saponin on the HPA axis are narrated from the aspects of total saponin and saponin monomers in this paper after the introduction of adaptation definition and HPA axis regulation mechanisms. Pharmacological effects of ginseng saponin and the regulation effect of HPA axis are summarized finally.

Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(06):-
Objective To search for evidence of diagnosis of pulmonary embolism for guiding clinical practice. Methods We searched PubMed(1970~2005-10)and CBM(1992~2005-10)in Oct.2005 to identify system reviews(SR)and cross-sectional study(CSS)about the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism. Results Sixteen SR and 9 CSS were identified in PubMed,none in CBM.Pulmonary arteriography was the gold standard in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism. Our result showed that computed tomography,ventilation-perfusion scanning and doppler ultrasound were useful in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism combind with clinical judgment.Multidetector CT might be another gold standard in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism.A negative result on quantitative rapid ELISA of D-dimer could exclude the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism. Conclusion Diagnostic tests combind with clinical judgment are useful for diagnosing or excluding pulmonary embolism.
