Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(05):-
Objective To study the seasonal change of antibodies levels in the serum of asthma patients and Der P1 concentration in the dust samples collected from their bedrooms. Methods 36 asthma patients who were allergic to mites were treated as the patients group,21 male and 15 female, aged 43 years of average age. 20 healthy individuals were treated as the control group,11 male and 9 female, with the same age as the patients group. In September and December in 2005,and Match and June in 2006,the dust samples in the bedrooms of patients and the venous blood were collected, the samples of the control were collected only in September. Der P1 concentrations in dust samples and the levels of total IgE,mite specific IgE (s-IgE),s-IgG1,s-IgG2,s-IgG3 and s-IgG4 were detected by ELISA assay. Results In autumn, the levels of total IgE,s-IgE,s-IgG1,s-IgG2,s-IgG4 and the Der P 1 concentrations in patients were significant higher compared with the control group (P

China Pharmacy 1991;0(01):-
OBJECTIVE:To explore a comprehensive drug quality evaluation method so as to provide constructive suggestions for the production and quality inspection of drugs.METHODS:The quality inspection data of 198 batches of flupentixol and melitracen tablets collected automatically by Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS) in Guangdong institute for drug control in 2008 were analyzed statistically, and the drug quality indexes were computed and the drug quality was analyzed comprehensively.RESULTS:Of all the quality items, the content uniformity showed the maximum impact on the quality of the tablets, followed by the content determination item, with disintegration time item showing the least impact on the quality of the tablets.CONCLUSIONS:LIMS is a powerful tool in collecting large quantities of drug data, and the quality index serves as an effective means for the evaluation of drug quality.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2013;(12):35-36,37
Objectives To study the effect of Lactulose oral solution combined with polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder on the intestinal cleanness. Methods One hundred and twenty patients undergoing electronic colonoscopy were divided into the experiment group and the control group,60 cases in each group. The experiment group orally took Lactulose oral solution and polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder 1d before the check, while the control group polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder 1d before the check. The two groups were compared in terms of intestinal cleanness and adverse reactions. Results The experiment group was significantly better than the control group in intestinal cleanness(P>0.05)and there were no significant difference has in adverse reactions(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined use of polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder and Lactulose Oral Solution may improve the intestinal cleanness and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(6):1207-1211
In this paper, the Fourier transform based minimum mean square error (FT-based MMSE) method is used to calculate the regional cerebral blood volume (rCBV) in magnetic resonance (MR) perfusion imaging, and the method is improved to handle the existing noise in the imaging process. In the experiments with signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 50 dB, the rCBV values were compared with the results using MMSE method. The effects of different SNRs on the estimation of rCBV were analyzed. The experimental results showed that MMSE was a simple way to filter the measurement noise, and could calculate rCBV accurately. Compared with other existing methods, the present method is not sensitive to environment, and furthermore, it is suitable to deal with the perfusion images acquired from the environment with larger SNR.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2022;34(4):424-428
Objective:
To investigate the current status of knowledge and practice pertaining to nosocomial infection control among medical professionals in grassroots healthcare institutions, so as to provide the evidence of improving the level of infection control in grassroots healthcare institutions.
Methods:
All medical professionals working in grassroots healthcare institutions in Pukou District, Nanjing City, were enrolled. The participants' demographic features and knowledge and practice of nosocomial infection control were collected using self-designed questionnaires and descriptively analyzed.
Results:
A total of 402 participants were enrolled, included 116 men ( 28.86% ) and 286 women ( 71.14% ). The respondents were predominantly at ages of 41 years and older ( 187 subjects, 46.52% ), with bachelor and above as the predominant educational level ( 200 subjects, 49.75% ) and intermediate title and above as the predominant professional title ( 168 subjects, 41.79%) , and there were 236 participants ( 58.71% ) with the length of service for more than 10 years. The awareness rate of nosocomial infection control knowledge was 56.22% among medical professionals working in grassroots healthcare institutions, with the highest awareness for COVID-19 prevention and control ( 89.55% ) and the lowest awareness for the key aspects in nosocomial infection control ( 39.55% ). The formation rate of implementing nosocomial infection control practices was 84.08%, with a low rate for “Implement satisfactorily the isolation interventions for patients with multidrug resistant bacteria” ( 71.14% ) and “Implement satisfactorily the control measures for nosocomial infections in key departments and key aspects”( 64.68% ).
Conclusions
Low levels are seen in the awareness of nosocomial infection control, behaviors of multidrug resistance management and key aspects in nosocomial infection control among medical professionals in grassroots healthcare institutions in Pukou District.

Objective To research the effects of transcutaneous electrical stimulation (TES) on the expression of neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-a) in the ventral horn of rats' spinal cords and in the injured region after spinal cord injury (SCI),and to explore the effects of TES on neuron reconstruction and functional recovery and their mechanisms. Methods Forty-eight Wistar rats were selected and divided using stochastic methods into a model group and a TES group.Using Allen's method,a complete SCI model was created at T9.Rats of the TES group were given TES treatment.Basso-Beattie-Brasnahan ( BBB ) ratings were used to evaluate locomotor function. Both groups were sampled at 1,3,5 and 7 days after the operation.Immunohistochemical techniques were used to detect the expression of NT-3 and TNF-α in the rats' spinal cords at the different time points. Results The post-operative BBB ratings of both groups showed an increasing trend. In the TES group the improvement was significantly better at 5 and 7 days than in the model group. The expression of NT-3 immuno-positive cells increased in both groups, peaking at 5 days post-operation,then declining at day 7.The expression of NT-3 positive cells at days 5 and 7 had increased significantly more in the TES group than in the model group.TNF-α immuno-positive expression increased with time in both groups, but in the TES group the expression increased substantially less than in the model group. At days 5 and 7 post-operation,the expression was significantly lower than in the model group. Conclusions TES can promote NT-3 expression in rats with SCI,inhibit the increase in TNF-α expression, and aid repair and reconstruction of neurons and related functional recovery.
