Objective　To understand the overall under-reporting of cause of death monitoring in Hainan Province, and to provide a scientific basis for evaluating the data from death registration report and health planning in Hainan. Methods　Multi-stage cluster random sampling was used, all towns/streets in cities and counties of the province were ranked from highest to lowest in terms of crude death rate, divided into high, medium and low levels (the number of each level was basically the same), and one was randomly selected from each level. A total of three towns/streets were used as survey areas, and all households in the area were survey households. Death information of resident population during 2018-2020 was collected and compared with routine surveillance data for the same period. The under-reporting rate was calculated, and comparison between groups was performed by chi-square. Results　A total of 12 583 death cases were investigated from 2018 to 2020, and the average mortality was 621.48/105. 4 809 cases were missed with the total under-reporting rate of 38.22%. The under-reporting rate from 2018 to 2020 were 39.75%, 39.99% and 34.77% (χ2=30.404, P<0.01) respectively. The under-reporting rate in eastern and central and western areas were 30.33%, 30.10% and 60.15% (χ2=931.901, P<0.01) respectively. The negative rate were different in different years old group (χ2=14.834, P<0.05). Of the 4 809 under-reported cases, as many as 93.49% died at home, and the composition of deaths in hospitals was about 10 times higher in the center than in the east and west, and the proportion of those who died in hospital in central areas was about 10 times higher than in eastern and central areas. Conclusions　More than half of the cities and counties in Hainan Province have improved the completeness of cause of death surveillance data. The under-reporting rate in age group <5 years are still high, and regular under-reporting investigations are still needed to strengthen the reporting and management of death information.

Objective To explore the practical new type of patient information sign on the application effect of pediatric surgical ward. Methods Divided 200 cases of patients in our department into the control group and the observation group according to random number table, there were 100 cases in each group. The control group and the observation group in A and B ward respectively, A ward (control group) used the traditional end of the bed, B ward (observation group) used the new information sign. The incidence rate of adverse events, patients′ families health mission efficiently, satisfaction of patients or medical staff were compared between the groups. Results The incidence rate of adverse events in the observation group was significantly lower than that of in the control group [1%(1/100) vs 8%(8/100),χ2=5.701, P < 0.05]. The effectiveness of health education, satisfaction of patients or medical staff and patients′families to health mission satisfaction in the observation group were significantly higher than that of in the control group [91% (91/100) vs 79% (79/100), 97% (97/100)vs 84% (84/100), 98% (98/100)vs 86% (86/100),the value of χ2 was 5.647,9.828 and 9.783 respectively, P < 0.05)]. Conclusions This new utility model patient information sign by the clinical application effect is satisfied, the head of a bed, cue CARDS unification and standardization of management, and reduced the occurrence of nursing adverse events, which can effectively improve the continuity of care services, the effectiveness of health education and medical, nursing, and satisfaction. ObjectiveTo analyze the risk factors of nosocomial infection of patients with spinal cord injury.MethodsRetrospective surveys of nosocomial infection including risk factors, pathogen analysis and drug sensitivity tests were carried out for 88 cases with spinal cord injury in our hospital from 1996 to 2002.ResultsIt showed that the rate of nosocomial infection was 90.91% with 46.59% of urinary tract infection and 32.95% of respiratory tract infection. Nosocomial infection was closely related with such factors as the disease of spinal cord, the use of antibiotics, invasive operation, age and disturbance of disease.ConclusionReducing risk factors and using antibiotics reasonably are effective measures to reduce nosocomial infection of patients with spinal cord injury.

Objective To study the effect of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction serum on cell cycle of A549/DDP cell. Methods A549/DDP cells and splenocytes cells were cultured in vitro and divided randomly into three groups:control group, Buzhong Yiqi Decoction group and splenocyte group. A 549/DDP cells were stimulated by different concentrations of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction serum and spleen cells, the direct killing effect on cells were measured by MTT method, cell apoptosis were detected by lfow cytometric analysis and the apoptotic body were observed by immunolfuorescence method. Results MTT results showed that cell growth were inhibited by Buzhong Yiqi Decoction serum in contrast with control groups, and the effect was same as spleen cells, and both treated groups had similar effects. Marked apoptotic peak and the apoptotic body were seen by lfow cytometric analysis and lfuorescence microscope in both two groups. Conclusion Buzhong Yiqi Decoction could inhibit the proliferation of A549/DDP cells in vitro and induced cell apoptosis, which is the similar as spleen cells.
