1.Effects of different concentrations of ?-tocopherol on streptozotocin-induced anti-oxidation competence in pancreatic islet cells
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2007;0(07):-
Objective:To investigate the inhibition effects of different concentrations of ?-tocopherol on pancreatic islet cell viability, insulin secretion,anti-oxidation competence induced by streptozotocin. Methods:Pancreatic islet cells from Wistar rats aged 1 to 3 days were cultured in monolayer in vitro. and divided into 4 groups. Then, cell viability, insulin secretion,T-AOC,SOD activity,MDA level,NOS activity and NO2-/NO3- production were measured by differrent detection methods. Results:Streptozotocin significantly decreased cell viability,T-AOC activity,SOD activity and insulin release level(P0.05),that could not be blocked by ?-tocopherol. Conclusion:?-tocopherol can attenuate the damage of rats pancreatic islet cells induced by streptozotocin, the mechanisms of which may be that ?-tocopherol can reinforce the competence of scavenging free radicals of pancreatic islet cells and not related to NOS activity change.
2.Content Determination of Aluminium in 3 Kinds of Chinese Patent Medicine for Sale
China Pharmacy 2007;0(27):-
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the contents of aluminium in Chinese patent medicines for sale and analyze the possible cause of it.METHODS:Three kinds of Chinese patent medicine were selected randomly,i.e.Jinkui shenqi pills,Sanshen pills and Zhuangyao jianshen pills. The contents of aluminium in 3 kinds of Chinese patent medicine were determined by spectrophotometry.RESULTS:There were different contents of aluminium among 3 kinds of Chinese patent medicine.CONCLUSIONS:Chinese patent medicines included in study contain aluminium, which is associated with the production, process and habitats of drugs and cause of ADR induced by traditional Chinese medicine.

4.Targeted therapies for pancreatic cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(2):148-151
The combination of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and targeted therapies are considered to be major treatments for metastatic pancreatic cancer. At present, the target therapy-related medications include mainly antagonist of epidermal growth factor receptor, monoclonal antibody of vascular endothelial growth factor and so on. Erlotinib combined with gemcitabine has been demonstrated to prolong the survival of patients with pancreatic cancer.
5.Research foundation of antioxidant therapy in cervical cancer
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2016;39(3):286-288
Cervical cancer was the most common gynecological malignant tumor, and endanger the lives of women. In recent years, research on antioxidant system confirmed that the antioxidant system of defects was closely related with the risk factors of cervical cancer. The lack of antioxidants that generates excessive reactive oxygen species, damaged the cervix cells. Human papilloma virus (HPV) infection was the main pathogenic factor of cervical cancer.Epidemiological studies had shown that including oxidative stress and antioxidant defects may prompt some auxiliary factors of HPV infection were finally for the development of cervical cancer. Because the oxidation has small side effects, safety, etc, so its anti-tumor effect was becoming more and more attention. Recently, on the antioxidant therapy in the treatment of cervical cancer research has made great achievements. This article expounds the antioxidant system defects and relationship between occurrence and development of cervical cancer, also reviewed the antioxidant therapy of cervical cancer research foundation and the latest clinical research.
6.Molecular markers of cancer and individualized therapy
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(6):428-431
The key of individualized therapy is that using molecular markers to select more suitable drug.At present, some studies have confirmed that certain molecular markers can predict the efficacy of the drugs. For example, cetuximab is beneficial in patients with K-ras wild-type colorectal cancer, gefitinib and erlotinib are beneficial in patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation-positive non-small cell lung cancer( NSCLC),imatinib is beneficial in patients with C-KIT gene-positive gastrointestinal stromal tumor. In terms of safety, the promoter polymorphism of UDP glucuronosyltransferase 1 polypeptide A1 ( UGT1 A1 ) can predict the toxicity of irinotecan.
7.MR findings and comparative study of MR sequences in several twin pregnancy with comorbidities
Journal of Practical Radiology 2014;(8):1336-1340
Objective To compare the applications of half-Fourier acquisition single-shot turbo spin-echo(HASTE)sequence and true fast imaging with steady state precession(True FISP)sequence for the delineation of structures and diseases in several twin pregnancy with comorbidities and to explore the clinical value of two series of fast imaging for MRI of fetus. Methods 27 twin preg-nancy women with comorbidities were imaged with HASTE and True FISP sequences. All images were statistically analyzed in re-spect of imaging qualities and artifacts.MR signs of fetal brain were analysized. Results There were abnormal changes in brains in 7 of 27 cases. Both sequences could demonstrate the structures and lesions of the fatus.Imaging quality scores of HASTE were higher than that of True FISP,but with more respiratory blurring. Conclusion There might be varying abnormalities in central nervous system in twin pregnancy with comorbidities.Combining the demonstration abilities of HASTE and True FISP is needed when de-tecting fetus lesions, especially the brain.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(1):67-70
OBJECTIVETo observe clinical therapeutic effect of fuzhong (supporting the middle-jiao) manipulation of tuina for infantile anorexia.
METHODSEighty-one children with anorexia were treated with fuzhong manipulation, including abdominal kneading, acupressure at Zhongwan (CV 12), Lanmen (Extra), Tianshu (ST 25), Zusanli (ST 36), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), spine pinching, warm moxibustion and warm scraping with supporting-yang cupping, three times a week, six times as a session. Onset time, therapeutic effect and TCM symptom scores before and after treatment were observed after two sessions and differences of therapeutic effect among different patterns were compared.
RESULTSSeventy-two children had the effect in one session while 41 children had the effect within half of a session. 38 cases were clinically cured, 15 cases were markedly effective, 23 cases were effective and 5 cases were failed. The total effective rate was 93.8%. Compared with before treatment, TCM symptom scores, including appetite, food intake, complexion and defecation, were all obviously improved after treatment (all P < 0.001). The clinical cured rate was 45.2% (19/42) in the pattern of dysfunction of spleen in transportation, 45.8% (11/24) in the pattern of qi deficiency of spleen and stomach, 50.0% (4/8) in the pattern of yin deficiency of spleen and stomach, 57.1% (4/7) in the pattern of liver sufficiency and spleen insufficiency, which had no obvious differences among different patterns (all P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe fuzhong manipulation of tuina has quick onset time and satisfied clinical therapeutic effect, which could obviously improve symptoms and is fit for different patterns of infantile anorexia.
