4.Utilization Analysis of Antidiabetic Essential Medicines in the Outpatient of Our Hospital from 2012 to 2014
China Pharmacy 2015;(21):2927-2930
OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for clinical rational use of antidiabetic essential medicines. METHODS:Retro-spective analysis was used to sort and analyze the consumption sum,DDDs and DDC of antidiabetic drugs in the outpatient of our hospital from May 1st,2012 to Apr. 30th,2014. RESULTS:The consumption sum and DDDs of insulin and oral antidiabetic drugs had upward trend. The top 3 consumption sum and DDDs of oral antidiabetic drugs were acarbose, metformin and glimepiri-de,and the highest DDDs of insulin was short-acting and premixed recombinant human insulin, all of them were in the National Essential Medicine List (2012 edition);DDDs of Glibenclamide tablets,Glipizide tablets and Chinese patent medicine were rela-tively small;DDC in long-acting insulin analogues was obviously higher than other kinds of insulin. The sales ratio of essential medicines was increased from 10.48% to 67.78% after National Essential Medicine List (2012 edition)carried out. CONCLU-SIONS:The use of antidiabetic drugs in the outpatient of our hospital is basically rational. Acarbose and metformin have the high-est DDDs,and DDDs of insulin analogues grow rapidly.
5.Effect of intra-dialytic exercises on micro-inflammatory state in maintenance hemodialysis patients
Modern Clinical Nursing 2016;15(8):54-58
Objective To investigate the effect of intra-dialytic exercises on micro-inflammatory state in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients. Methods Sixty clinically stable MHD patients from the Hemodialysis Center were enrolled in the study . The patients were divided into exercise group and control group with 27 cases in each group by using the random digit number table. The patients in the exercise group underwent a 6-month intra-dialytic exercise, in which the patients conducted physical exercises supinely on a cycle ergometer each for 50 minutes, 3 times a week. The patients in the control group were treated without any exercise intervention. Serum interleukin-6(IL-6), C-reactive protein(CRP) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) were determined after the study for 0 and 6 months. Results After the 6-month intradialytic exercise program, serum IL-6, CRP and TNF-α were all decreased in the exercise group (P < 0.05). These indices were unchanged in the control group (P > 0.05). Conclusion The intra-dialytic exercises can alleviate micro-inflamatory state in maintenance hemodialysis patients.
6.Effects of garlic and oat and their compounds on lipid level and hemorheology of hyperlipidemic rats
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(06):-
Objective To explore the effects of garlic and oat and their compounds on lipid metabolism and hemorheology of hyperlipidemic rats. Methods Sixty adult Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups (12 in each group), and fed in different cages with basic forage, hyperlipid forage, low garlicin forage, high garlicin forage, and compound forage of garlicin and oat for 8 weeks. The blood lipid and hemorheology of hyperlipidemic rats were measured. Results After the rats were fed with low garlicin forage, high garlicin forage, and compound forage for 8 weeks, the levels of TC, TG, VLDL, and LDL decreased significantly, but HDL increased significantly. The contents of the high, middle and low blood viscosity, and plasma adhesion, blood reduction viscosity and hematocrit decreased significantly in low garlicin forage group, high garlicin forage group, compound forage of garlicin and oat group. In the normal forage group, these changes were not significant. In hyperlipid forage group, the contents of serum TG and TC, plasma VLDL-C and LDL-C increased significantly, but the contents of plasma HDL-C decreased significantly. Conclusion Garlic and oat may play a role in the decrease of lipid and ameliorate hemorheology, but low-dose compound forage of garlicin and oat may facilitate lipid metabolism and prevent hyperliemia and atherosclerosis.
7.Investigation of Inpatient Cases of Food-borne Parasitic Encephalopathy
Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1987;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the clinical features of the patients with encephalopathy caused by food borne parasites. Methods Questionnairing was carried out to collect and analyze clinical data of cerebral form of food borne parasitic diseases in the hospital during the past five years. Results Among 190 discharged medical histories, 115 cases were valid for investigation, the number of males was 73, females 42, with a ratio of 1.74∶1. Among these patients, 20.9% (24/115) had a history of eating raw meat. For discharge diagnosis, neurocysticercosis accounted for 92.2% (106/115),cerebral paragonimiasis 3.5% (4/115), sparganosis 2.6% (3/115), and angiostrongyliasis cantonensis and gnathostomiasis 0.9%(1/115) each. 13.9% (16/115) of the patients were hospitalized for three times or more. Conclusion More attention should be paid to food borne parasitic encephalopathy.
9.Variation of CD4~+ CD25~+ regulatory T cells in patients with Graves' disease
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1986;0(03):-
The level of CD4~+ CD25~+ regulatory T cells was assayed in the peripheral blood from the patients with Graves' disease (GD) by floweytometry.CD4~+ CD25~+ regulatory T cells as a kind of non-specific immune cells appear to have no relationship with thyroid function, however, their lowered number in early GD patients suggests that they seem to play an essential role in the pathogenesis of GD.
10. Expression changes of alpha adrenergic receptors in heart and mesenteric artery in autonomic dysreflexia rats after spinal cord transection
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2006;27(2):156-159
Objective: To investigate the changes of alpha adrenergic receptors (α-AR) mRNA expression in heart and mesenteric artery in autonomic dysreflexia (AD) rats after spinal cord transection, so as to explore the possible mechanism of AD. Methods: The spinal cord of rats was exposed and the fourth thoracic spinal cord was transected; 4 weeks later, rats' rectum was stimulated by self-made catheter and those with a mean arterial blood pressure increased by more than 15 mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa) were chosen as AD group (n=16). Heart and mesenteric arteries along with their branches were harvested. mRNA expression of α1A-, α1B-, α1D-, α2A-, α2B- and α2C-AR was quantified by real time PCR and the result was compared with that in sham-operated group (the fourth thoracic spinal cord was exposed but not transected). Results: Compared with sham-opera ted group, rats in AD group had a lower expression of α1A-AR mRNA (P<0.05) and α1B-AR mRNA (P<0.01) in their heart, but the expression of α1D-AR mRNA had no obvious change. Also, rats in AD group had a higer expression of α1A-, α1D-, α2B-AR mRNA (all P<0.01) and α2C-AR mRNA (P<0.05) in their mesentric artery, but α1B- and α2A-AR mRNA expression had no obvious change. Conclusion: AD may occur in the chronic stage of spinal cord transection in rats. The abnormal expression of α1A- and α1B-AR mRNA in the heart and α1A-, α1D-, α2B- and α2C-AR mRNA in the mesenteric artery may be related to AD.
