1.c-fos Expression in Medial Vestibular Nucleus of Guinea Pigs After Unilateral Labyrinthectomy
Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 1998;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the c-fos ex pr ession in guinea pigs' medial vestibular neuleus (MVN) following unilateral laby rinthectomy (UL). Methods Twenty-seven SCO guinea pigs were randomly divide d into nine groups, three in each group. After resection of right labyrinth,th e immunohistological staining of c-fos was performed. Fos-like immunoreactivity (FLI) was analyzed at fifteen minutes, and 1?2?6?8?12 and 24 h, and 2 and 7 days after UL. Results Results showed no Fos expression in the control g roup. By contrast, Fos was consistently induced in the UL guinea pigs. Asymmetri cal labeling was found in the bilateral medial vestibular nucleus, with more Fos -like neurons in the ipsilateral MVN of the lesioned side than that in the contr alateral MVN(P

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2015;(3):199-203
Objective:To investigate the sleep quality and relative factors of the people aged 18years or over in Tianjin Municipality. Methods:The participants came from the Tianjin Mental Health Survey conducted from Ju-ly to December in 2011.Total of 11618 residents aged 18 years or over were selected randomly among the general population and finished the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI)for assessment of sleep quality and General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12)for screening out the individual with possible mental disorders. The PSQI total score >7 was defined as poor sleep quality.Chi-square test and Wilcoxon rank sum test was used to conduct univa-riable analysis, and logistic regression was used to analyze the related factors to poorer sleep quality. Results:In this sample,980 people had poorer sleep quality, with the adjusted prevalence rate in Tianjin was 6.6%.Logistic regres-sion analysis showed risk factors to poorer sleep quality were female (OR =1.47,95%CI:1.19 -1.82),older age (30 -39 years old,40 -49 years old,50 -59 years old,60 -69 years old,70 years or older,OR =1.72(95%CI:1.10 -2.69),2.55(95%CI:1.66 -3.91),4.41 (95%CI:2.85 -6.83),5.34(95%CI:3.32 -8.59),5.40(95%CI:3.21 -9.08),at his/her own expense on medicare (OR =1.52,95%CI:1.15 -2.00),unemployment (OR =1.46,95%CI:1.05 -2.03)or retirement (OR =1.45,95%CI:1.02 -2.06),smoking (OR =1.49,95%CI:1.22-1.83),difficulty to engage in daily work or activities due to physical illness (OR =2.30,95%CI:1.85 -2.85), and GHQ -12 score ≥ 4 (OR =6.51,95%CI:5.46 -7.46).Conclusion:Although the prevalence rate of poorer sleep quality in the people aged 18 years or over in Tianjin is lower, the problem is common and should not to be ignored.

Objective To establish a experimental method for evaluating nerve regeneration after operation by means of tracing the retrograde axonal plasm flow by 125 I HRP Methods Eighteen SD rats were used The right sciatic nerve of mouse was transected at the site 0 8cm distal to sciatic notch and then anastomosed immediately Four weeks later,500?l of 125 I HRP solution was injected into the right musculi triceps surae The right sciatic nerve segment proximal to the anastomosis site was cut for checking up the intensity of radioactivity in each tissue at 24 hours after injection The fiber number of nerve distal to the site of anastomosis were calculated The relationship between the intensity of radioactivity and the fiber number was analysed Results The relationship between the intensity of radioactivity of sciatic nerve segment proximal to the site of anastomosis and the fiber number of distal sciatic nerve segment was correlation and there was statistic significance. Conclusion The status of nerve regeneration distal to the site of anastomosis can be evaluated by means of intensity of 125 Iodine in the nerve segment proximal to the site of anastomosis

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 2003;0(05):-
Objective To develop a more ideal procedure of living donor nephrectomy. Methods Ten cases of living relate donor who received laparoscopic nephrectomy were regularly followed up from 2 to 12 months. Results These donors were discharged on the day 5 after operation. Renal function of the recipients was normal in 4 days after operation. The advantages of laparoscopic living related donor nephrectomy included smaller incisions, less pain, faster recovery and short hospitalization. Conclusion Laparo- scopic living related donor nephrectomy is effective and safe.

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(06):-
[Objective]The study focus on the analgesic effect of polysaccharopeptide(PSP)and discuss the mechanism of this analgesia. [Methods]A total of 80 rats were divided randomly into high dose of psp, medium dose of psp,low doses of psp, positive control group, negative control group. After intragastric(ig) administration of different(high, medium and low)doses of PSP for 6 days,The tail stimulation-vocalization test was used to observe the analgesic effect of PSP.The IL-2 and IL-2R expression in mediobasal hypothalamus(MBH) was studied immunohistochemically.[Results]After intragastric(ig) administration of PSP for 6 days, the pain threshold was increased significantly and a dose-effect relationship was observed. After PSP administration the IL-2 expression in MBH was increased, while the IL-2R expression in MBH was decreased.[Conclusion]PSP has a definite analgesic effect and its analgesic site is in the MBH.The analgesia might be produced by the binding with the IL-2R in MBH by IL-2 secreted by T cells after PSP was injected into the brain.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1985;0(05):-
At present, there is not a clear guideline for residual solvents in the new drugs in our country. In practice, the ICH Q3C is our important reference in general, but in practical research and evaluation of new drugs, some adjustment should be made on principles of ICH Q3C,making it suitable for the reality of the pharmaceutical industry in our country. In this article, we put forward some suggestions to improve the quality control of residual solvents in our country, and some initial ideas were provided to solve the question in practice.

Objective To determine the incidence and effect of unrecognized cardiac injury in critically ill patients and evaluate the significance of elevations of serum troponin Ⅰ and APACHE Ⅱscore in patients with critically illness. Methods We measured the level of serum troponin Ⅰ and evaluated relationship between elevations of serum troponin Ⅰ and APACHE Ⅱ score, myocardial injury, mechanical ventilation, intensive care unit stay by means of retrospective chart review and analysis of clinical data. Results Thirty-four(21.4%)of the 159 patients had evidence of myocardial injury based on elevated levels of cardiac troponin Ⅰ,only 9(26.5%)of these 34 patients were diagnosed as having acute myocardial infaction by the intensive care unit staff.Mortality in patients with myocardial injury that was unrecogniazed(41.2%)or recognized(44.4%)was higher than in those without myocardial injury(16.0%)(P
