Objective To investigate the expression of tissue factor(TF) in endothelial cells induced by fluid shear stress and the mechanism of the TF expression in vivo.Methods Fifty-four male SD rats weighing 300?15.5 g were randomized to 9 groups(n=6 in each group): one as control and another eight groups were assigned into corresponding time points of 0.5,1,3,6,12 h and 1,3,7 d after stenosis establishment of the left arteria carotis.The mRNA and protein expression of TF factors,nuclear factor Sp-1 and Egr-1 were examined in left arteria carotis communis intima by using in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry.The results were processed by computer image analysis.Results The mRNA and potein of TF,Egr-1 and Sp-1 were faintly expressed in intima of control group.After exposed to stenosis for 30 min,the staining intensity was increased.The mRNA and protein expresson of TF markedly increased as compared with control group((P

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of methylprednisolone injection and magnesium sulfate injection in the treatment of severe bronchial asthma and the impact on inflammatory cytokines.Methods 87 cases of severe bronchial asthma were selected for the study,and they were divided into two groups according to the order of admission,the control group (43 cases ) was given methylprednisolone treatment,while the observation group (44 cases)was given methylprednisolone injection and magnesium sulfate treatment.The clinical treatment and inflammatory cytokine levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The effective rate of the observation group was 93.18%,which was higher than 74.42% of the control group,the difference was significant(χ2 =10.33,P <0.05 ).After treatment,pulmonary functions of the observation group [FVC (3.72 ± 0.42)L,FEV1 (2.72 ±0.32)L and PEF(3.48 ±0.49)L/s]were increased significantly than before treatment(t =7.87,7.81,8.41,all P <0.05),and had significant differences compared with the control group(t =6.93,7.44, 7.20,all P <0.05).After treatment,inflammatory cytokines indicators of the observation group[IL -6 (67.44 ± 0.43)μg/L,TNF -α(80.32 ±7.34)ng/L,hs -CRP(3.32 ±0.89)mg/L]were significantly increased than before treatment(t =6.85,7.41,7.33,all P <0.05),compared with the control group,the differences were significant(t =6.55,7.04,6.45,all P <0.05).Conclusion The methylprednisolone combination with magnesium sulfate in treat-ment of severe bronchial asthma had significant effect,and it can effectively improve the airway inflammation,promote lung function in patients'recovery,and it has great clinical value.

Objective To observe the effect of aminoguanidine by intraperitoneal injection on apoptosis of chondrocyte with osteoarthritis.Methods Totally 32 rabbits were divided into 3 groups at random.Both the experiment and the model groups were fixed by plaster cast in the right hind straighten limb,while the control group received no treatment.The experiment groups were injected with aminoguanidine in abdominal cavity,100mg/(kg?d),and the control groups were injected the same voluminal normal saline in abdominal cavity.At the 4th week,we killed 4 rabbits from the normal group,and 6 from the control group and the experiment group,respectively.At the 8th week,we put the rest to death.We drew the materials from each sample for pathological observation on the whole and under the light microscope by HE and immunohistochemical staining,and counted apoptosis cells by TUNEL for statistical analysis.Results Compared with the control group,the experiment group was more similar to the normal group in general observation and optical microscope observation by HE staining.Both iNOS positive expression cell by immunohistochemical staining and apoptosis cell calculation by TUNEL of the experiment group were fewer than those of the control group(P

砄bjective:To compare the adherent ability of Candida albicans on the surface of two kinds of silicone elastomer used as prosthodontic materials and to study the factors affecting the adherence.Methods: Candida albicans were cultured on the surface of SY 1 and MDXA 4210 with or without saliva acquired pellicle for 10 min, then the number of the bacteria was counted.Results:With or without saliva acquired pellicle,the number (1?10 3/mm 2) of C.albicans on SY 1 was 24.5?0.88 and 2.0?0.47 respectively( P 0.05 ).Conclusion:There is little difference between the adherent ability of C.albicans on the two kind of silicone elastomer.Saliva acquired pellicle can decrease the adherence.

Objective To analyze the problem existing in the process of health records informatization con-struction and explore solution on the basis of situation of health record informatization in Yanta district of Xi'an city. And to provide bases for acceleration of residents'health records informatization construction in Xi'an.Methods Send 10 investigators to study and investigate the hospital information management system of 10 full-time public universities in Yanta district.Results There were a total of 25 711 faculties in 10 full-time public universities and 19 809 facul-ties had established electronic files,the filing rate was 77.04% A.On the whole,it seemed that the teaching staff in the filing rate(78.91%)was higher than that of the retired workers filing rate(73.78%),the two groups had statisti-cally significant difference(χ2 =88.164,P <0.05)B.Conclusion Xi'an Yanta district university faculty of electron-ic health records has exceeded the national average level,but there are still many problems need to be improved.We should strengthen government investment,the establishment of the region's unified information management standards, increase publicity and education efforts,and actively create the region's resource information sharing platform.

Objective To investigate the curative effect of tube placement and drug irrigation in the auditory tube under nasoscope in the treatment of secretory otitis media(SOM). Methods Under the visualization of a 30? nasoscope,an epidural guiding tube was placed through the pharyngeal opening of the auditory tube into the tympanic cavity for drug irrigation in 50 cases of secretory otitis media(50 ears).Results Follow-up observations for 6~24 months showed 26 cases of cure(52%),19 cases of improvement(38%),and 5 cases of no effect(10%),the total effective rate being 90%. Conclusions This procedure has advantages of simplicity of performance,unaffected drum membrane,high safety,no pain,and satisfactory outcomes,being an effective treatment option for improving the function of the auditory tube and hearing ability in patients with secretory otitis media.

Objective To explore the curative effect of endoscopic simple maxillary ostium enlargement in the treatment of non-invasive mycosis of maxillary sinus. Methods Clinical data of 16 cases of noninvasive mycosis of maxillary sinus were analyzed retrospectively. Results The operation time was 30～120 minutes, with a mean of 60 minutes. No operative complications occurred. The hospital stay was 5～7 days, with a mean of 6 days. Histopathological examination found hyphae and spores in 16 cases, and a positive culture of Aspergillus was observed in 9 cases. Postoperative follow-up for 3～24 months (mean, 18 months) in 16 cases revealed free of symptoms in 14 cases, in which the endoscopic examination showed unobstructed ostium and normal sinusal mucosa, and recurrence in 2 cases, who underwent repeated enlargement of ostium and were re-followed for 6 and 13 months, respectively, without recurrence. Conclusions Nasal endoscopic simple maxillary ostium enlargement in the treatment of non-invasive mycosis of maxillary sinus is a radical and minimally invasive technique, but particular attention must be directed to managing the maxillary ostium.

Objective To investigate advantages of sep to plasty under nasal endoscope. Methods Septoplasty was carried out under nasal endoscope in 50 cases, including 6 cases of upper or posterior n asal septum deviation. Results The operation was completed on one session in all the 50 cases, with the deviated nasal septum being entirely c orrected. The operation time was 30~72 min (mean, 48 min). Follow-up surveys for 6~9 months (mean, 7.1 months) indicated a complete cure in 45 cases (90%) and a n improvement in 5 cases (10%). No septal hematoma, abscess, perforation, nasal cavity adhesion, or bridge collapse were encountered. Conclusions Nasal endoscopic septoplasty has advantages of short operation time, few bl ood loss, mild pain, little complications, and the possibility of nasal sinus co -operation. This technique may fully replace the traditional submucous resection .
