Objective To investigate the feasibility of fast track surgery (FTS) application in arthroscopic reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament. Methods A total of 80 cases of anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) tear patients were randomized into two groups. While the experimental group (n =42) was treated with the conception of FTS, and the control group(n =38) was treated with the traditional methods. The postoperative pain, knee Lysholm score, quality of life score (SF-36), knee joint activity (EUROPEP), and postoperative infection were compared between the two groups.Result The VAS score of post-operation pain (VAS) 1 h(1.80±1.13) ,6 h(1.91±0.98), 12 h(1.73±0.95) ,24 h(1.68±0.65) ,48 h(1.69±0.90) ,the time stay in hospital (7 ± 1), total cast (205 600 ± 7 600) yuan, were significantly decreased compared to the traditional therapy group(VAS : (7.00± 1.56), (7.41±0.93), (6.82±1.12), (6.65±0.76), (6.34±0.88) ,P <0.05 or P<0.01;(12± 1) d, P =0.021;(28 600±5 400) yuan, P =0.042).Recovery time of ROM of experimental group was significant lower than control group (P < 0.05).But the comparison of patients, satisfaction of post-operation in two groups was inverse(P=0.007).The Lycholm scores of post-operation of FTS group were remarkably higher than the control group and the scores of prior treatment(85.1 ± 14.2) vs (73.6 ±12.3);P< 0.05).Conclusion The new methods of FTS can apparently accelerates recovery after ACL reconstruction, reduces complications, shorten time stay in hospital, cut down the total cost, and improve the experience and the satisfaction of patients. It was safety and feasible.

This paper describes the analysis of insitu polymerization of monomeric reactants (PMR) polyimide resin solution by reversed phase ion pair suppression chromatography. the mobile phase consists of acetonitrile and water. The methyl sulphonic acid was used as an ion-pair reagent in the mobile phase. The addition of sodium perchlorate was required to increase the ionic strength of the mobile phase. The information was obtained on monomeric isomer distribution of PMR polyimide resin solution and purity of prepared materials.

BACKGROUNDThere is important significance of micrometastasis for the individual treatment and prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). LUNX is a lung-specific gene found recently. The aim of this study is to detect LUNX mRNA expression in NSCLC patients in order to discuss the possibility of indicating lung cancer micrometastasis by LUNX.
METHODSFluorescence quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (FQ-RT-PCR) and ordinary RT-PCR were used to detect LUNX mRNA in cancer tissues, bone marrow and peripheral blood from 62 patients with NSCLC. Lung tissue, bone marrow and peripheral blood from 10 patients with pulmonary benign diseases and peripheral blood from 10 healthy volunteers were served as controls.
RESULTSLUNX mRNA was expressed in all the lung tissues, either malignant or benign. No bone marrow and peripheral blood sample was positive for LUNX mRNA in controls. The positive detection rate of LUNX mRNA for NSCLC was 38.7% (24/62) in bone marrow, 29.0% (18/62) in peripheral blood, and 45.2% (28/62) in either. The positive rate of LUNX mRNA for NSCLC in bone marrow increased according to the stage of disease and there was a statistical significance (P=0.02), aod there was a correlation between bone marrow and peripheral blood expression in NSCLC (P < 0.001).
CONCLUSIONSLUNX mRNA is an efficient indicating factor on sensitivity and specificity to detect early haematogenous dissemination of cancer cells for patients with NSCLC. This method may lead to an earlier diagnosis of metastasis for lung cancer and help to evaluate the cancer more correctly and make the best treatment plan.

ABSTRACT:Objective To compare and analyze tip malposition of 2 central venous catheteri-zations in cancer patients. Methods Totally 1656 cancer patients received 1799 cases of peripheral-ly inserted central catheter(PICC)/conventional central venous catheter(CVC)were consecutively assessed by means of routine post-catheterization chest X-ray.The catheter with its tip strike and terminal position were confirmed individually. All tip malpositions were calculated. And the catheters with tip malpositions were readjusted and reevaluated. Results The failure rate in PICC group (2.68%)was significantly higher than that in CVC group(0.34%,P <0.01).Eighty three catheters(4.84%)were found tip malpositioned,in which 38 catheters(6.42%)were from PICC group and 45 ones(4.01%)from CVC group (P <0.01).The achievement ratio of readjustment for tip malposition in PICC group (71.1%)was much higher than that in CVC group (26.7%,P<0.01).Conclusion Compared with CVCs in cancer patients, the prevalence of tip malposition from PICCs was higher although the tip malpositions in PICCs were more likely to be corrected with readjustment. These findings suggest that tip position of PICC /CVC should be confirmed post-catheterization with chest x-ray.
