Purpose:To study the histogenesis, the differential diagnosis and the prognosis of melanotic schwannoma. Methods:The age of the patients was 4,17,28 years old, respectively.Three cases of melanotic schwannoma were examined using histologic (HE), immunohistochemical (ABC method) and electron microscopic techniques. Results: The diameter of tumor was 2,4,8, respectively. Histological examination showed pigmented spindle cells arranged in interlacing fascicles and occasional nuclear palisading. The pigmented polygonal cells were loosely arranged in sheets. After bleaching, the nuclei were oval and some showed slight pleomoprohism with prominent nucleoli, and nuclear mitoses were found. There was local invasion in two cases. Immunohistochemical stains for S 100 protein, HMB45, Vim, Leu 7, NSE were positive. Ultrastructrual examinations showed a lot of melanosomes in all stages of development and seldom basal lamina. Conclusions:①Melanotic schwannoma usually occurs in young adults. Most of the tumors are benign or only potentially malignant. Malignant MS is rare, and require follow up. ②MS originate from neural crest with a proliferation of the bipotential cell.

Objective To speculate the precipitating factors, clinical features and histopathological changes in patients with granuloma annulare (GA).Methods A study was performed in 53 patients with GA . Results The incidence of female was more prevalent than male in our study. The exposure of sunlight was found more relatedly in GGA than LGA.The onset age of GGA was inclined to be elder and GGA seemed to last longer. The histopathological study showed that palisading granuloma pattern accounted for 71.7% in all patients, and scattered histiocytic infiltration accounted for 28.3%.Such as cryotherapy, topical steroids were used for LGA and systemic administration was an alternative to GGA. Conclusions Ultraviolet may be associated with the development of generalized GA. The most common pattern is the palisading granuloma though the histopathological changes were variable.Topical therapy is effective in LGA,while the systemic therapy is mainly used for GGA.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of intravitreal injection of Lucentis combined with pan retinal photocoagulation and trabeculectomy for neovascular glaucoma(NVG). Methods Seventeen eyes of 15 patients with NVG were treated by 0.5 mg Lucentis intravitreal injection first. Trabeculectomy was performed 7 days later and Pan retinal photocoagulation 2 weeks later. Iris, anterior chamber angle neovascularization, intraocu?lar pressure ,and visual acuity were observed in the following 6 months. Results Iris and anterior chamber angle neovascularization were completely regressed 7 days after the injection in 17 eyes. Six months after photocoagulation, 6 eyes had different degrees of improvement in visual acuity,10 eyes no change in visual acuity and 1 eye decreased from anterior index to immediate manual. There was significant difference in pre?treatment IOP and postoperative IOP( t = 12.75 ,10.26 ,9.73 ,10.77 ,P < 0.01 ). No serious complications were observed after intravitreal injec?tion and trabeculectomy. Conclusions Intravitreal injection of Lucentis could significantly accelerate the regres?sion of iris and anterior chamber angle neovascularization ,which could improve the successful rate of trabeculecto?my and pan retinal photocoagulation. Intravitreal injection of Lucentis combined with trabeculectomy and panretinal photocoagulation is safe and effective for NVG.

A 27-year-old man presented with a 3-year history of persistent asymptomatic papules on the left chest and axirlary fossa. Multiple skin biopsies were performed and histopathology revealed mild acanthosis, extension of the dermal papilla, lichenoid lymphoid infiltrates in upper dermis. Some lymphoid cells migrated into the epidermis and formed Pautrier's microabscesses. Immunohistochemistry revealed that the infiltrating cells were positive for LCA, CD45RO, CD3, CD4 and CD8 (scattered), but negative for CD68 or CD30. Cutaneous laser confocal microscopy showed the shadow of scattered, oval or round, slightly refractive cells measuring 4-8 pm in diameter. A diagnosis of papular mycosis fungoides was made. The papules were softened with the lightening of lesional color after treatment with narrow-band ultraviolet B, topical fluticasone propionate cream and isotretinoin gel.

Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2022;38(8):2700-2712
GLKs (GOLDEN 2-LIKEs) are a group of plant-specific transcription factors regulating the chloroplast biogenesis, differentiation and function maintains by triggering the expression of the photosynthesis-associated nuclear genes (PhANGs). The GLKs also play important roles in nutrient's accumulation in fruits, leaf senescence, immunity and abiotic stress response. The expression of GLK genes were affected by multiple hormones or environmental factors. Therefore, GLKs were considered as the key nodes of regulatory network in plant cells, and potential candidates to improve the photosynthetic capacity of crops. Since numerous researches of GLKs have been reported in plants, the biological function, molecular mechanism of GLKs genes and its applications in breeding were summarized and a GLK-mediated signaling network model was developed. This review may facilitate future research and application of GLKs.
