Objective To investigate the application value of the self-rated health measurement scale (SRHMS) in health check-up.Method A total of 8 083 health check-up receivers frow Fujian Province underwent SRHMS self-assessment,and the results of the assessment were analyzed by Chi-square test.Result The results of the survey showed that the total prevalence rate of chronic disease was 57.8％ top five were stomach/duodenum diseases (14.57％),hypertension (11.58％),mammary gland disease (8.04％),abnormal blood lipid (7.16％) and prostate disease (6.54％).The proportion of these five kinds of illness was 43.38％.A positive correlation between the prevalence rate of chronic disease and age was found.The difference of the prevalence rate of chronic diseases between each age group was statistically significant (x2=863.816,P=0.000).Those with family history of chronic diseases accounted for 69.27％ and those with history of present illness accounted for 57.83％ (4 674/8 083).Bodily pain,dietary preferences,refined grain intake,lack of exercise,and alcohol drinking was found in 75.03％,60.15％,54.84％,46.07％ and 41.50％ participants.Conclusion The SRHMS could reflect the chronic disease incidence and unhealthy daily habits.

BACKGROUND:Acupuncture point matching is little reported in the electroacupuncture for cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the influence of electroacupuncture acupoints selected by orthogonal experiment on rats with cerebral ischemia reperfusion and extracel ular signal regulated kinase (ERK) signal pathway.
METHODS:150 Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into five groups:sham operation group rats were exposed the middle cerebral artery only;models of cerebral ischemia reperfusion were established in the rats in model and orthogonal groups. Then rats in the orthogonal groups 1 (Baihui (DU 20), Quchi (LI 11), Zusanli (ST 36), and Chize (LU 5)), 2 (Baihui (DU 20), Zusanli (ST 36), Chize (LU 5), and Sanyinjiao (SP 6)) and 3 (Hegu (LI 4), Zusanli (ST 36), Chize (LU 5) and Sanyinjiao (SP 6)) were given electroacupuncture at acupoints selected by orthogonal experiment, respectively.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the model group, in al orthogonal groups, the neurological function deficit scores were decreased, infarct volume was smal er, the number of microvessel density in the ischemia region and the p-ERK expression level in the cortex and hippocampal CA1 region of ischemic hemisphere were increased, and significant changes were found in the orthogonal group 3. These findings indicate that electroacupuncture at points of Hegu (LI 4), Zusanli (ST 36), Chize (LU 5) and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) selected by orthogonal experiment can significantly reduce the infarct volume of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats possibly by regulating the ERK signaling pathway.

In this paper, taking Shijiazhuang city, Hebei province as an example, a random sampling of 30 streets in three districts were investigated the use of tactile ground surface indicator. The survey showed that 69% of the existing tactile ground surface indicator were used normally, while 8%were laid unreasonable, 11%were occupied and 12%were damaged. Suggestions were set from three aspects:sci-entific and reasonable laying, strengthening supervision and maintenance, and strengthening publicity and education, so as to improve the current situation of tactile ground surface indicator, improve the utilization rate, promote the participation of visually impaired persons in so-cial life and improve their quality of life.

Objective To explore the consistency of the clinical serum creatinine results in Shanghai district and investigate the population distribution of apparently healthy people, modified MDRD formula adapted to Chinese population was used to estimate glomerular filtration rate and its distribution for further assessment of the clinical applicability of the eGFR.Methods A fresh pooled human serum sample with given IFCC's creatinine level from c.f.a.s.(calibration for automatic system) ,was used to calibrate the creatinine detecting systems of each participating hospital laboratory before every examination. Fourteen hospital laboratories successively conducted 6 experiments, and the test results were almost identical.They tested and studied the creatinine values of 6 837 ( male 3 289, female 2 132, children and teenagers 1 416)apparently healthy individuals, age from 0 to 99 years old, and estimated eGFR value of these apparently healthy individuals according to the documented eGFR formula [ eGFR = 175 × (Scr) -1.154 × (age) -0.203 ×0.742 (female) × 0.827 ] which was applied especially to Shanghai people.Results Before calibration,the inter-laboratory CVs of creatinine results varied from 3.1％ -9.1％, and after calibration, CVs decreased to less than 5％.A good consistency of the creatinine results was established among all these hospitals.The result of population distribution study of creatinine for men was 63.0-102.8 μmol/L,for women was 45.0-76.0 μmol/L, and for children and teenagers was 0-1 year old 11.0-77.0 μmol/L, 2 years old 15.5-33.3 μmol/L,3-5 years old 19.0-42.0 μmol/L, 6-19 years old 41.4-62.0 μmol/L.The Cr value were different between the male and femal [ male: ( 82.1 ± 10.9 ) μmol/L, femal: ( 59.4 ± 8.4 ) μmol/L, t =94.3 ,P <0.01 ＝ ;The eGFR value could decrease the sexual difference[ male: (79.1 ± 13.5) ml · ( min ·1.73 m2 ) -1, femal: (79.2 ± 13.6) ml · ( min · 1.73 m2 ) - 1, t = 0.266, P > 0.05 ].The difference of Cr and eGFR could not be eliminated between the groups divided by every 10 years(x2Cr =2 601 ,P <0.01 ;x2eGFR2= 1 105 ,P <0.01 ＝.Conclusions The pooled patients' sera could be used as calibrator for harmonizing of creatinine results among the laboratories. The reference rang of Cr should be differentiated by age and sex.Although eGFR can decrease the difference of sex, it cannot eliminate the difference of age.

OBJECTIVETo explore the action mechanism of electroacupuncture (EA) at "Shenmen" (HT 7) and "Sanyinjiao" (SP 6) on insomnia.

METHODSThirty SD rats were randomly divided into a blank group, a model group and an EA group, 10 cases in each group. The insomnia model was made by immobilization method in the model group and EA group. After model establishment, rats in the blank group and model group were treated with fixation and no treatment was given. Rats in the EA group were treated with EA at "Shenmen" (HT 7) and "San-yinjiao" (SP 6) for 15 min, once a day for 4 days. After treatment, the level of daytime and nighttime activity, open-arm entry percentage and open-arm time percentage of elevated plus-maze test were measured; the content of noradrenaline (NE), dopamine (DA) and epinephrine (EPI) in plasma and NE, DA in thalamus and brainstem were detected by using euzymelinked immunosorbent assay method.

RESULTSCompared with the blank group, the daytime activity was increased and nighttime activity was reduced in the model group (both P<0. 05); the open-arm entry percentage and open-arm time percentage of elevated plus-maze test were both reduced in the model group (both P<0. 05); the contents of NE, DA, EPI in the plasma and NE, DA in thalamus and brainstem were increased in the model group (all P<0. 05). Compared with the model group, the daytime activity was reduced and nighttime activity was increased in the EA group (both P<0. 05); the open-arm entry percentage and open-arm time percentage of elevated plus-maze test were both increased in the EA group (both P<0. 05); the contents of NE, DA, EPI in the plasma and NE, DA in thalamus and brainstem were reduced in the EA group (all P< 0. 05).

CONCLUSIONElectroacupuncture at "Shenmen" (HT 7) and "Sanyinjiao" (SP 6) can restrain the over-activity of the sympathetic-adrenal medullary system to treat the insomnia.

Objective To find the optimal scanning time window and then set up the normal binding potentials (BPs) of 2β-carbomethoxy-3β-(4-fluorophenyl)-(N-11C-methyl) tropane (11C-CFT) DAT PET/CT imaging.Methods Thirty-one healthy volunteers (20 males,11 females,average age:(55.7±2.3) years),who all gave written informed consent,were divided into three age and gender-matched groups according to block randomization.Each group underwent static PET/CT scan in different time windows from 40-60 min,60-80 min to 80-100 min after 11C-CFT injection.To determine the best scanning time window,the ratios of caudate and putamen of all volunteers were analyzed using automatic ROI method (caudate (putamen)/parieto-occipital cotex-1) and compared by one-way analysis of variance and the least significant difference (LSD) t test.The ratio of the same area between different age-groups and gender-groups was compared with independent two-sample t test.Results Ratios of left caudate (2.08±0.06,1.75±0.07and 1.77±0.12 respectively),right anterior putamen (2.33±0.06,1.95±0.09 and 2.08±0.12 respectively)and bilateral posterior putamen (left:1.88±0.66,1.55±0.88 and 1.72±0.09; right:1.98±0.07,1.61±0.09and 1.69±0.12) were all different in three time windows (F=3.588,3.345,4.479,3.557,all P＜0.05).There were significant differences in ratios of left caudate,right anterior and bilateral posterior putamen between 40-60 min and the 60-80 min (all P＜0.05),as well as the ratios of left caudate between 40-60 min and the 80-100 min group (P＜0.05).While no valid differences in ratios of those areas were shown between the groups of 60-80 min and 80-100 min scanning time window (all P＞0.05).DAT densities in right and left side of caudate,anterior and posterior putamen were significantly lower in the group over 60 years of age than those under 60 years (t=-3.260,-3.090,-3.270,-3.190,-2.270,-3.110,all P＜0.05),but were not different between gender-groups (t =0.367,0.522,0.144,0.524,0.166,0.004,all P＞0.05).Conclusions Sixty min after injection of 11C-CFT,the BPs achieve stable stage,so the best scanning time window of 11C-CFT DAT PET imaging was 60-80 min after injection.Identification of normal DAT distribution and understanding of normal BPs of 11C-CFF are necessary before its clinical application.

Objective To explore the characteristics of oxygen uptake efficiency (OUES) in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) and analyze the relationship between OUE and severity of disease.Methods Pulmonary function test,polysomnogram and cardiopulmonary exercise testing were performed in 35 patients with OSAHS and 25 age-matched healthy volunteers.Their successive breathing respiratory exchange parameters were collected and analyzed.And t and x2 tests were used for 2 sample comparison.Correlation analysis was performed by Pearson correlation test.Results Significant differences in peak VO2 and peak VO2 ％ pred existed between OSAHS and normal control groups [(18±4) vs.(28 ±6) L/min,P＜0.01;(68±14) vs.(84±16) ％,P＜0.01].Compared with normal control group [(2.3 ±0.5) L · min-1 · lg-1 ; (36 ±4) ml/L; (36 ±4) ml/L],OUES,OUEP and OUE@AT of OSAHS group [(1.8 ± 0.4) L · min-1 · lg-1 ; (31 ± 5) ml/L; (30 ± 5) ml/L] were significantly lower (t =3.78-4.49,all P ＜0.01).And OUES,OUEP and OUE@AT in OSAHS patients were correlated (r =0.53-0.67,all P ＜0.01) positively with exercise tolerance (peak VO2％ pred) while negatively with apnea hypopnea index (AHI) (r=-0.67--0.54,all P ＜0.01).Conclusion The oxygen uptake efficiency of patients with OSAHS is significantly reduced compared to that of normal subjects.And it is correlated negatively with severity of disease.
