Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Baofukang suppository and policresulen in the treat-ment of cervical erosion,and to observe and analyze the safety,thus to provide the basis for clinical treatment.Methods 268 patients with cervical erosion were selected,they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,134 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Baofukang suppository on the basis of conventional treatment.The observation group received Baofukang suppository and policresulen treatment.To assess the treatment effect of the two groups,and the wound healing time,improvement of the symptoms or signs and the vaginal adverse reactions were observed.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 88.81% (119 /134),which was higher than that of the control group 79.85% (107 /134),the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =9.87, P <0.05).The wound healing time of the observation group was (23.31 ±1.78)d,which was shorter than that of the control group (27.58 ±1.96)d,the difference was statistically significant (t =11.20,P <0.05).The incidence rates of lumbosacral pain,leucorrhea and purulent secretions of the observation group after treatment were 9.70%(13 /134),5.94% (8 /134)and 3.73% (13 /134),which were lower than those in the control group after treatment [14.93%(20 /134),12.69% (17 /134)and 11.94% (16 /134)],and after treatment two groups were lower than those before treatment,there were statistically significant differences (χ2 =9.96,9.81,10.12,all P <0.05).After treatment,the contact bleeding of the observation group and the control group were 0.00% (0 /134)and 1.49%(2 /134),which were lower than those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =11.30,10.06, all P <0.05).The incidence rate of vagina adverse reaction of the observation groups was 17.16% (23 /134),that of the control group was 17.91% (24 /134),there was no statistically significant difference (P >0.05).Conclusion Baofukang suppository combined with policresulen has better clinical curative effect in the treatment of cervical ero-sion,which can shorten the wound healing time,reduce symptoms or signs of patients,and has high security.

Objective To investigate blood level of triglyceride(TG)in community residents of urban and rural Beijing.Methods A total of 10 054 community residents were recruited by cluster samphng for investigation using questionnaire,as well as physical examinations and fasting plasma TG determination for diagnosing hypertriglyceridemia,during June to August,2007.Results Median of plasma level of TG of the participants was 1.17 mmol/L,ranging(0.81-1.78)mmoVL Totally,1234 people were diagnosed as borderline hypertriglyceridemia and 15 12 as hypertriglycefidemia.with prevalence of 12.27%and 15.04%,respectively.There was no significant difference in plasma level ofTG between men andwomen[1.16(0.80-1.84)mmol/L vs.1.18(0.81-1.75)mmol/L,P:0.187].Age-adjusted prevalence of borderline hypertriglyceridemia and hypertriglyeeridemia was higher in men than those in women(11.60% vs.10.90%and 20.32% vs.10.88%,respectively),and the same results were obrained in those less than 50 years old,however,reveraw outcomes were got in those more than 50 years old.Plasma level of TG,as well as prevalence of hypertriglyceridemia,were higher in those living in urban areas than those in rural areas[1.31(0.89-1.95)mmol/L vs.1.05(0.73-1.58)mmol/L].Awareness,proportion of people with hyperglycefidemia under treatment and proportion of those with TG under coutrol were 13.95%.35.92%and 38.51%,respectively.Standardized prevalence of borderline hyperglycefidemia and hyperglycefidemia were higher in those with coronary heart disease than those without it(24.79% vs.11.22%and 25.31% vs.15.35%,respectively).Conclusions Awareness,proportion of treatment and proportion of those under control for hyperglyceridemia were all lower in community residents of Beijing.Education and monitoring on hyperglyeeridemia should especially be strengthened for urban residents,women aged more than 50 years,and these with coronary heart disease.

BACKGROUND:Currently, modified laminoplasty with C7 spinous process and muscle attachment points reserved and C2, C7 decompressive laminectomy can reconcile both ful decompression and structure stability. With early isometric neck muscle exercise, it can enhance cervical dynamic and static force balance and maintain the stability of the cervical spine.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the clinical effects of modified cervical laminoplasty with postoperative isometric neck muscle exercise on cervical spondylotic myelopathy patients.
METHODS:114 patients with cervical myelopathy were separately performed traditional cervical laminoplasty (control group), modified cervical laminoplasty (modified group), modified cervical laminoplasty, and neck muscle isometric exercise (combined group). Fol ow-up was conducted for 24 months.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Cervical Japanese Orthopaedic Association score, cervical Neck Disabilitv Index scores and the incidence of axial symptoms:There was no significant difference in the Japanese Orthopaedic Association score of three groups at 6, 12 and 24 months after surgery. At 6, 12 and 24 months after surgery, Neck Disability Index scores and constituent ratio of axial symptoms were better in the modified group than the other groups (P<0.05). (2) Results show that modified cervical laminoplasty with isometric neck muscle exercise can get better clinical results in the treatment of cervical myelopathy.

Objective To investigate the perception of anticoagulant treatment for atrial fibrillation (AF) in physicians from county-level hospitals.Methods Two hundred and ninety two physicians from 9 hospitals of Jiangsu,Henan,Zhejiang,Jiangxi provinces were enrolled in this cross-sectional survey from June to November 2013.A standard questionnaire was used in the survey,which consisted of questions on knowledge,awareness and concerns of physicians regarding the diagnosis of atrial fibrillation and administration of warfarin.Results Total 292 questionnaires were returned and 208 of them were finally analyzed.According to the reports of the physicians,the percentage of anticoagulant treatment was 30.0％ (10.0％-60.0％) in patients with rheumatic valvular AF,20.0％ (10.0％-50.0％) in patients with non-valvular AF and 80.0％ (40.0％-100.0％) in those with mechanical heart valve replacement.The most common concerns of prescribing warfarin were worries about the bleeding related to warfarin (74.0％,154),the necessary of monitoring INR (65.4％,136) and advanced age (44.7％,93).A half of physicians (51.0％,106) thought that ECG was the main means for diagnosis of AF and only 28.3％ (59) used both ECG and Holter as diagnosis procedure.Among the physicians who reported to use INR for monitoring warfarin administration,62.5％ (130) reported a target ranging 2-3 and one third reported a target INR ＜ 2.The proportion of the physicians who were aware of CHADS2 score and CHA2DS2-VASc score was 51.0％ (106) and 41.3％ (86),but only 15.4％ (32) and 6.3％ (13) of them knew the correct answer of the risk factors,respectively.Although 34.6％ (72) physicians were aware of HAS-BLED score,only 5.3％ (11) selected the 9 parameters correctly.68.3％ (142) physicians reported that vitamin K is the antidote for warfarin.Conclusion This study reveals the concerns and deficits in perception of anticoagulant treatment for AF patients in physicians of county-level hospitals,suggesting that education programs are needed to increase the prevalence of warfarin use in patients with AF.

The stereoselective hydrolysis of esmolol in whole blood and in its separated components from rat,rabbit and human was investigated.Blood esterase activities were variable in different species in the order of rat ＞ rabbit ＞ human.Rat plasma showed the high esterase activity and had no stereoselectivity to enantiomers.Rabbit red blood cell (RBC) membrane,RBC cytosol and plasma all hydrolyzed esmolol but with different esterase activity,whereas the hydrolysis in RBC membrane and cytosol showed significant stereoselectivity towards R-(+)-esmolol.Esterase in RBC cytosol from human blood mainly contributed to the esmolol hydrolysis,which was demonstrated with no stereoselctivity.Esterase in human plasma showed a low activity,but a remarkable stereoselectivity with R-(+)-esmolol.In addition,the protein concentration affected the hydrolysis behavior of esmolol in RBC suspension.Protein binding of esmolol enantiomers in human plasma,human serum albumin (HSA) and α1-acid glycoprotein (AGP) revealed that there was a significant difference in bound fractions between two enantiomers,especially for AGP.Our results indicated that the stereoselective protein binding might play a role in the different hydrolysis rates of esmolol enantiomers in human plasma.

Proteomic analysis is an effective way to identify protein constituent in Lewy bedy-like inclusions (or aggresome) in vitro. Exposure to synthetic proteasome inhibitor (PSI, 10 μmol/L) for 48 hours was used to induce the formation of cytoplasmic proteineous inclusions (termed as PSi-induced inclusions) in PC12 cells.The proteomic approaches of biochemical fractionation, two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-D) and identification via peptide mass fingerprints (PMF) were deployed, and 20 protein components of LBs were identified,i ncluding 2 proteins involved in the production of synaptic neurotransmitter, 6 subunits of the 26 S proteasome,2 cytoskeleton proteins, 2 subunits of mitochondrial complexes, 1 anti-oxidant protein, and 7 chaperone proteins and (or) chaperone-like proteins. The results suggested that these LB protein components might had been recruited in PSI-induced inclusions formed in PC12 cells under the condition of proteasome inhibition.

BACKGROUND: Endogenous opioid peptides are mainly mediated by μ receptor and produce inhibitory effect on breathing and heartbeat, and because of this, fetal distress happens and develops. Therefore, μ receptor mediation is the most important way that endogenous opioid peptides participate in the fetal distress and the pathological process of suffocation. Β-FNA (β-Funaltrexamine, μ-receptor antagonist) and ICI174864(δ-receptor antagonist) are helpful to reduce the happening of fetal distress.OBJECTIVE: To explore the roles of μ and δ receptors in the fetal distress based on the point of view that opioid peptides are involved.DESIGN: Completely randomized allocation and randomized and controlled trial using experimental animals as the subjects.MATERIALS: Twenty healthy white New Zealand purebred rabbits were randomly divided into 5 groups, and among them 16 rabbits were pregnant for 30 days and were put to death with the method of suffocation. The fetal rabbits were taken out immediately after cesarean section, with 6 - 8 fetal rabbits in each den. The fetal rabbits were classified into the following groups: untreated fetal distress group, (fetal distress group, 29 fetal rabbits), normal saline rabbits group(Normal saline group, 25 rabbits), rabbit distress β-FNA group(β-Funaltrexamine ) (FNA group, 28 rabbits), fetal rabbits ICI174864 treatment group(ICI174864 group, 31 rabbits).INTERVENTIONS: Pregnant rabbits in the saline group, FNA group , ICI group were intravenously given a bolus of normal saline or the opiate antagonist β-FNA or ICI174864 and were then asphyxiated. Another 4 rabbits that were pregnant for 30 days were put to death with the cut on the neck, and 28 fetal rabbits were taken out as the control group. After being delivered by cesarean section, all rabbit fetuses in the above five groups were assessed by Apgar scoring for respiration, heartbeat, skin color, muscle tension, and response to stimulation at 1, 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes of age.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Apgar scoring for respiration, heartbeat,skin color, muscle tension, and response to stimulation at 1, 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes of age was made.RESULTS: The total Apgar score for respiration, heartbeat, skin color, muscle tension in the control group was the highest (8. 8 ± 1.1 ). And that of FNA group was 6. 8 ± 1.7, obviously higherthan that of the fetal distress group (2.1 ±1.0) and the saline-treated pups(2.5±1. 1) and(t=2.832 and 2. 795, P < 0.01 ). That of group ICI was 4.9 ± 0.7, markedly higher than that of the saline-treated pups and the fetal distress group( t = 2. 232 and 2. 195, P < 0.05) . There was no marked difference between the saline group and the distress group ( P > 0.05 ) and between the FNA group and the control group(P < 0.05) . The total Apgar scores of the ICI group,saline group, and distress group were significantly lower than that of the control group ( t = 2.913,2. 893, P < 0.01 and t = 2. 174, P < 0.05).CONCLUSION: Endogenous opioid peptides participates in the process of the happening and development of fetal rabbit distress that is mediated by opioid peptides receptor, the effect of μ receptor was much more than that of δ receptor. This study provides a basis for the evaluation of fetal distress and intervening at an earlier stage to enhance prognostic function.
