Objective To discuss pathological features of three cases of uterine primary NHL(non Hodgkin′s lymphoma). Methods The clinical and pathological data of 3 cases of NHL were collected.Immunohistochemical method was used to label the tumor cells.Their histological types were classified by the latest WHO Classification of Tumors of Haematopoietic and Lymphoid Tissues, and then differential diagnosis with other uterus diseases was offered. Results Three cases were presented with abnormal vaginal bleeding or ejecting as the first symptom, which was easily misdiagnosed as common diseases of the uterus in preliminary clinical and pathological diagnosis.Histopathology of general uterus specimens demonstrated that case one expressed CD3,CD56,TiA-1 and so on,and detected EBV virus cells expression, which supported the diagnosis of NK/T cell lymphoma.Another two cases expressed B cell-specific markers(CD20) and so on,and these tumor cells volume was 3 times larger than that of lymphocyte. These tumor cells had high proliferation index and supported diffuse large B-cell lymphoma diagnosis. Conclusion The tumor cells are like lymphocytes. We infiltrate endometria and myometrium, which is difficult to identify from endometria stromal sarcoma and other tumors, and need to use immunohistochemistry(IHC) for definitive diagnosis and differential diagnosis.

The structure, karyotype and behavior of synaptonemal complex (SC) in the spermatocytes of hedgehog (Erinaceus euroaaus dealbatus (insectivora)) were analyzed by light and electron microscopy with a modified surface spread preparation which involves the use of sodium dodecyl-sulphate (SDS) and silver staining. The lateral elements of the synaptonemal complex have a constant width of about 50 nm, the distance between the two lateral elements is about 100 nm. The relative length and arm rationale constant for each autosomal SC. The relative length and arm ratio constant for ea of the autosomal SCs are very similar to that of mitotic autosome. The X and Y chromosome axes have a clear morphological distinction from the autosomal SC. The axes of X and Y chromosome pair and form a SC of certain length at pachytene stage. The axes of unpaired X and Y chromosome are heteropycnotic and display various morphological complexities. But these differentiations in hedgehog are primary than in other mammalians, such as human and mice. At pachytene stage the X and Y chromosome display an extensive side-by-side pairing segment with decreasing length as meiotic prophase progressed.

To report a case of 16-month-old boy with anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia with immunodeficiency who experienced disseminated herpes simplex infection. From 2 months of age, the patient experienced multiple pyrexial episodes of undetermined origin, which responded well to anti-inflammatory agents after undressed. Abnormal sweat with dry skin was noted; therefore, the skin biopsy of right axilla was performed at 7 months of age, and suggested a diagnosis of anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia. Since 6 months of age, he developed recurrent upper respiratory infections and 2 episodes of pneumonia. Twenty days before, several glossal erosions occurred in the patient, supervened by painful and erosive eruptions and numerous blisters around the mouth and both hands with hyperpyrexia. Four days before, the patient was transferred to the department owing to skin lesion exacerbation. Cutaneous examination showed multiple crested or ulcerated plaques distributed eriorificially (mouth and nasal cavity) on the face. Several irregular, demarcated ulcers were scattered on the buttocks, scrotum and lower limbs, surrounded by grouped and umbilicated vesicles arising on erythema. Both hands were swelling, crusting and painful. Dentition was abnormal, and the patient had only 2 upper conical incisors. Routine investigation revealed that white cell count and C-reactive protein extremely elevated. Immunologic profile showed an abnormal distribution of lymphocyte subsets with decreased CD3+ T cells, CD8+ T cells and NK cells. Serum IgM level was slightly low. IgM antibodies to herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) were detected by serological testing. Based on the above-mentioned features, a diagnosis of anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia with immunodeficiency and disseminated herpes simplex infection was confirmed. The patient was resolved favourahly after intravenous ganciclovir and antibiotics for 3 weeks without relapse of skin lesions.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2008;16(4):273-276
Objective: To compare the accumulative scores of cerebrovascular hemodynamic parameters (CVHP) in different populations and to analyze the relationship between the change of accumulative scores and the risk of stroke. Methods: A total of 10 565 participants aged 40 years and above were selected from a cluster sampling community-based population. Their risk factors were investigated and CVHP was evaluated. The CVHP scores were accumulated by a unified approach, and the incidence of stroke was followed up. The participants were grouped into health adult, single factor exposure, multiple-factor exposure, and newly developed stroke during the follow-up period. The differences of CVHP accumulative scores and the change law among the 4 groups were compared respectively according to age and sex. Results: The accumu-lative scores of the mean (SD) CVHP in the health adult, single factor exposure, multiple-factor exposure, and newly developed stroke groups were 86.44 (20.69), 72.07 (28.10), 60.82(34.64), and4.01 (29.36) in men respectively, and they were 83.95 (22.19), 67.97 (29.73),59.91 (31.34), and 42.64 (28.00) in women respectively, which had a tendency to gradually decrease. The accumulative scores of CVHP and their distributions at the same age stage in all the 4 groups had significant differences (P < 0.01 ). The accumulative scores of CVHP and their distributions for the same factors between all age groups also had significant differences (P <0. 01). Conclusions: The accumulative scores of CVHP had a tendency to gradually decrease from the health adults, risk factor exposure to high risk status before stroke. The decrease of the accumulative scores is closely associated with the increase of stroke risk, which can be used as a predictor of stroke.
