1.Strategy of Competitiveness Improvement of Retail Chain Pharmacies in China under the Impact of Phar-maceutical Electronic Commerce

OBJECTIVE:To explore the strategy of competitiveness improvement of retail chain pharmacies in China under the impact of pharmaceutical electronic commerce. METHODS:The development of pharmaceutical electronic commerce in China is in-troduced. Major problems of retail chain pharmacies development are analyzed to put forward the strategy for promoting their com-petitiveness. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:Pharmaceutical electronic commerce develops rapidly in China,and there are 3 major operation mode,ie. B2C online pharmacy,third platform and B2B purchase platform. The development of pharmaceutical electron-ic commerce greatly influences the further development of chain pharmacy. Considering rising costs,medical insurance policy ad-justment and brand drug profits lowering,retail chain pharmacies must reposition its value;turn into big health(including diversi-fied category structure,chronic disease management and in-depth professional service);regard O2O E-commerce model as strate-gic move for rapid scale expansion in the future,so as to improve customer loyalty and long-term competitiveness.
2.MRI features of struma ovarii and analysis of misdiagnosis

Objective To explore MRI features of struma ovarii (SO)and analyze the causes of misdiagnosis.Methods The MRI data of 5 patients with SO confirmed by surgery and pathology were analyzed retrospectively.Results The MRI features of SO were summarized as follows:(1)The lesions were often unilateral.(2)The maximal diameter was 3.6-13 cm and the volume was 37.8-854.1 cm3 .(3)The irregular shape was presented in 2 cases,round shape was presented in 2 cases,and superficial lobulated shape was presented in 1 case.(4)The boundary of the lesions was clear,and the adjacent organs were compressed without obvious inva-sion,there was 1 patient showing moderate ascites.(5 )The tumor was cystic or solid-cystic with various size,and capsular space showed homogeneous high,equal or low signal intensity on T1 WI and T2 WI.Irregular solid component and thick separation were be-tween capsular spaces.The wall,solid component,and separation showed significant contrast-enhancement.Conclusion Recognition of the MRI features of SO could improve the diagnostic accuracy and avoid misdiagnosis.
3.Emergent transcatheter arterial embolization for ruptured liver cancer with hemorrhage

Objective To study retrospectively the curative effect of emergent transcatheter arterial embolization(TAE)on ruptured liver cancer with hemorrhage. Methods Twenty-three patients with rupture of liver cancer were emergent treated with TAE for massive hemorrhage. Results Twenty-two patients were treated by TAE effectively with good hemostasis and without recurrence of bleeding as well as liver failure, except one referred for surgery due to anomalous vascular route leading to failure of catheterization. Nine of 22 patients accepted more than one time of TAE according to the curative effect and progress of the disease, but reduction of tumor size or necrosis could be achieved in all these patients. Conclusions Emergent TAE is an effective treatment for ruptured liver cancer with hemorrhage, having good effect of hemostasis and providing the possibility for subsequent treatment.
4.Cx43 expression in the femur of rabbit models of steroid-induced vascular necrosis of the femoral head

BACKGROUND:The mechanism of steroid-induced avascular necrosis of the femoral head is stil unclear, Cx43 protein as the main gap junction in bone tissue, through transmitting information between osteoblasts, regulates bone cel growth and differentiation, compensatory bone increase or decrease. The relationship between Cx43 protein and steroid-induced avascular necrosis of the femoral head is stil rarely reported.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the changes in Cx43 expression in rabbit models of steroid-induced vascular necrosis of the femoral head.
METHODS:Forty New Zealand rabbits were equal y and randomly divided into model group and control group. Rabbits in the model group were used to establish models of steroid-induced avascular necrosis of the femoral head using endotoxin and hormone. Rabbits in the control group were injected with the same volume of physiological saline at the same time points.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:At 4 weeks after model establishment, hematoxylin-eosin staining results revealed that in the model group, the trabecula became thin and distributed disorderly in the femoral subchondral area. Empty lacuna increased significantly. Adipocytes increased. Hematopoietic cel s in medul ary cavity apparently diminished. In the control group, trabecula arranged orderly and empty lacuna could be seen. Bone marrow cel s were abundant, but adipocytes were less. Immunohistochemical method demonstrated that Cx43 protein expression was observed in osteoblasts of the edge of trabecula, cytoplasm of osteoblasts of trabecula, and bone marrow stromal cel s. Western blot assay results showed that alkaline phosphatase and Cx43 protein expression was lower in the model group than in the control group (P<0.05). Results indicated that Cx43 protein expression decreased in the model rabbits, which may be the key link of the occurrence and development of steroid-induced avascular necrosis of the femoral head.
5.Sharp marginal ridge affects the fitness of the metal full crown cast for the abutment tooth

Objective: To study the effect of the sharp marginal ridge of the abutment on the casting of the fit metal full crown in dental preparation.Methods: We established the models of the designed crown-based-teeth(American Dental Association style,No2 trail) with a sharp or smooth marginal ridge,and cast a metal crown for each model.We injected silicone into the crown and immediately fixed it onto each model.Then we took out the solidified silicone and measured its thickness between the crown and the occlusal face of each model.The thinner the thickness,the better the fitness.Results: The average silicone thickness was 250 ?m in the smooth marginal ridge group and 1 660 ?m in the sharp marginal ridge group,with significant difference in between(P
6.MicroRNA-377 knockdown suppresses high glucose-induced proliferation and inflammation in human mesangial cells

Objective To investigate the effect and potential mechanism of microRNA (miRNA)-377 on high glucose-induced proliferation and inflammation in human mesangial cells.Methods Cells were randomly divided into six groups:control group (5.5 mmol/L glucose),high glucose group (30.0 mmol/L glucose),negtive miRNA inhibitor transfection+high glucose group,negtive miRNA mimic transfection+high glucose group,miRNA-377 inhibitor transfection+high glucose group (miR-377i+high glucose group),miRNA-377 mimic transfection+high glucose group (miR-377m+high glucose group),miRNA-377 expression was detected by real-time PCR.Cell proliferation and cell cycle were detected by BrdU assay and flow cytometry,respectively.The release of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α),interleukin (IL)-18,IL-6 and macrophages chemotaxis protein-1 (MCP-1) were evaluated by ELISA.The activations of NF-κB pathway,including the expressions of phosporylated (p)-IκBα,p-P65 and nuclear P65,were measured by Western blotting.Results Compared with those in control group,in high glucose group cell viability,miRNA-377 expression and cell proliferation rate increased (all P < 0.05),proportions of S phase cell and G2/M phase cell in cell cycle increased (all P < 0.05),the levels of TNF-o,IL-18,IL-6 and MCP-1 were higher (all P < 0.05),as well as the expressions of p-IKBα/IκBα,p-P65/P65 and nuclear P65 were increased (all P < 0.05).Compared with high glucose group,cell proliferation rate was restrained (P < 0.05),proportions of S phase cell and G2/M phase cell in cell cycle was descreased (all P < 0.05),the levels of TNF-α,IL-18,IL-6 and MCP-1 were lower (all P < 0.05),as well as the expressions of p-IκBα/IκBα,p-P65/P65 and nuclear P65 were reduced (all P < 0.05) in miR-377i+high glucose group.However,miR-377m+high glucose group presented opposite results (all P < 0.05).Conclusions miRNA-377 knockdown can partially suppress high glucose-induced human mesangial cell proliferation and cell cycle transition,and restrain inflammatory molecules release.Its mechanism may be related to the inhibition of NF-κB pathway.
