Objective To monitor state of environment control and life support system (ECLSS), and to diagnose faults and provide decision support in manned space flight. Methods According to the principle of decision support system, neural networks and the expert system, the foundational constructional structure and work flow of the ECLSS decision support system(EDSS) were designed, fault tree analyze(FTA) method was used to sort all of the faults and to form the expert knowledge framework, expert system and neural networks were integrated to adaptive learning from experience. Results In the two-men-five-days SZ-6 manned space flight, this software system worked well, and had reduced the difficulty and intensity of ground flight control and had provided good technological support for the consummation of this flight. Conclusion For the first time, the ECLSS decision support system is designed and implemented by using database and expert system technology. It can judge parameters state and diagnose faults exactly and rapidly, and the data models are designed correctly to give the rational result of parameter prediction.

Objective To study the effect of implanted stent or selected operation in patients with acute occlusion of right coronary artery during the emergency coronary arteriongraphy. Methods Forty-three patients with acute occlusion of right coronary artery who underwent the emergency coronary arteriongraphy were divided into two groups: the implanted stent group ( n = 23) during the emergency coronary arteriongraphy and the selected operation group (n =20) during the emergency coronary arteriongraphy . Then we observed the general data, the coronary artery pathological changes, preoperative and postoperative thrombus, the blood flow, remained stenosis and the prognosis. Results The implanted stent group was similar to the control group in general condition, but implanted stent group was significantly different from the control group in the near, intermediate and distal coronary artery pathological changes ( <0.05) . The control group was significantly different from the implanted stent group in the thrombus and slowly blood flow ( <0.05) . After three months, we reviewed coronary arteriongraphy and selected operation, The implanted stent group was significantly different from the control in the remained stenosis and slowly blood flow (<0.05) . But the implanted stent group was similar to the control groug in the thrombus and new proceeding cardiovascular events. Conclusion When thrombus appears in acute occlusion of right coronary artery, we can implant stent during the emergency coronary arteriongraphy if the thrombus is little, or we can select operation after PTCA on the contrary.

Preliminary research and partial satellite carrying experiment were firstly carried out,so as to research the technique of environmental control and life support system(ECLSS)of Chinese manned spacecraft.Environmental control and life support sub-system of "Shenzhou" spacecraft were developed subsequently, and the technique of physical/chemical regenerative ECLSS and controlled ecological life support system(CELSS)were also researched gradually. This paper introduced the research and development of ECLSS of Chinese manned spacecraft, and discussed the technical character of ECLSS.

Objective To investigate feasibility and validity of endovascular aortic repair (EVAR) of traumatic thoracic aortic injuries (TTAI).Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on data of 13 patients with TTAI.Pathological changes were evaluated by spinal CT angiography (CTA) preoperatively and re-evaluated by digital subtraction angiography (DSA) in EVAR.CTA was performed again to confirm therapeutic effects at postoperative 3,6,12 months and annually thereafter. Results All patients had successful EVAR.Complete or partial cover of left subclavian artery was observed in four patients.Endoleak in angiography shortly after stent delivery was noticed in three patients. However, endoleak disappeared in one patient after short stent placement for twice; endoleak was evidently decreased in one patient after balloon dilation.Follow-up was performed for another patient with slight endoleak.A total of 12 patients were followed up,which showed no complications, such as endoleak, ischemia of left upper extremity, paralysis or stent-graft migration. Conclusion EVR is safe and effective in treatment of TTAI.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of bosentan in treatment of severe pulmonary hypertension related to congenital heart disease (CHD-PAH) .Methods 5 patients with severe CHD-PAH patients received bosentan therapy, then pulmonary artery pressure, pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR), 6min walk test, right ventricular end-systolic diameter (RVSD) changes were observed and statistically analyzed after six months medication. Results Pulmonary arterial systolic pressure (sPAP) was significanfly decreased from (96±11) mmHg to (86±10) mmHg, <0.01.pulmonary arterial diastolic pressure (dPAP) was significanfly decreased from (56±10) mmHg to (46±9) mmHg ( <0.01),pulmonary arterial mean pressure (mPAP) was significanfly decreased from (73 ±11) mmHg to (59 ±10) mmHg ( <0.05), pulmonary vascular resistance was significanfly decreased from (17.8±1.9) Wood to (13.1±1.7) Wood (<0.01) . 6min walk test was improved from (136±40) m to (198±55) m, <0.01.right ventricular end-systolic diameter significanfly decreased from (40±5) mm to (36±6) mm after 6 months therapy ( <0.05) . Conclusion Bosentan can decrease pulmonary arterial systolic pressure, improve exercise tolerance, improve right ventricular function in patients with severe CHD-PAH.

We constructed a phage-displayed random mutation library of Tat38-61(51N/55N), for studying the molecular evolution screening of HIV-1 Tat38-61 epitope. We used primers containing the random nucleotide sequences, and introduced the random mutations at the sites of 51 and 55 amino acids coding sequences into full-length Tat sequences by overlapping PCR. With the randomly mutated full-length Tat as template, the Tat38-61(51N/55N) mutants which contained recognition sequences for the Xba I in both ends were amplified by PCR using the designed primers. The mutants were cloned into Xba I site in the phagemid vector pCANTAB5S, then the recombinants were transformed into E. coli TG1, a phage-displayed the random mutation library of Tat38-61(51N/55N) was constructed by the rescue of help virus M13KO7. The results showed that the library consisted of about 5.0 x 10(6) colonies and the phage library titer was 2.65 x 10(12) TU/mL. More than 56.50% colonies in the library were positive for insertion. Sequence analysis showed that the nucleotides encoding amino acids at the sites of 51 and 55 distributed randomly. The constructed mutation library could meet the requirements for the following molecular evolution screening, and might prepare the Tat mutants for the further study of new Tat vaccine candidates.
