OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate auditory developments and the effectiveness of children with congenital bilateral aural atresia after using softband Ponto and to compare them with children with normal hearing.
METHOD:
Twenty patients (age ranging from 3 months to 21 months ) with bilateral aural atresia were studied. The air and bone auditory thresholds were assessed by auditory brain stem response (ABR). The infant-todder meaning auditory integration scale (IT-MAIS) was used to evaluate the auditory development at three time levels: baseline, 3 months and 6 months.
RESULT:
The average unaided bone conduction hearing thresholds of patients is (17.5 ± 5.9)dB nHL,and the average air conduction hearing thresholds is (72.5 ± 9.3)dB nHL. The average VRA hearing thresholds of 5 patients is (30.5 ± 5.9) dB HL. The IT-MAIS total, detection and perception scores are improved specifically after wearing softband Ponto and approaching the normal level.
CONCLUSION
Softband Ponto is suitable for infants with bilateral atresia. Results from these auditory development testing are encouraging. Softband Ponto should be used as a bridge for surgical implantations when temporal bone is thick enough.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 2001;0(10):-
Objective:To study the effects of agonistic anti gp130 monoclonal antibody B S12 on the differentiation, maturation and function of dendritic cells (DC).Methods:Monocytes isolated from human peripheral blood were cultured with GM CSF plus IL 4, and differentiated into immature DC. The phenotype of DC was analyzed by cytometry after the addition of B S12 antibody to the culture of immature DC. In addition, the abilities for DC to uptake antigen, secrete IL 12, initiate the mixed lymphocyte reaction and chemoattract T cells were tested. The effects of agonistic anti CD40 monoclonal antibody 5C11 on the differentiation, maturation and function of DC were simutaneously compared with those of B S12 antibody. Results:Agonistic anti gp130 monoclonal antibody B S12 had DC to up regulate the expression of CD1a, costimulatory molecules CD80 and CD86 as well as CD83, which is special marker for mature DC, down regulate the expression of CD14. Moreover, B S12 antibody decrease the up take of antigen by DC, enhance the abilities for DC to secrete IL 12, initiate the mixed lymphocyte reaction and chemoattract T cells. The comparison of roles of B S12 and 5C11 antibodies in DC showed that 5C11 was more effective than B S12.Conclusion:The direct stimulation of gp130 on immature DC by B S12 antibody could induce immature DC to differentiate into mature DC.

Objective:To investigate the negative effect of the IL-10 on monocyte-derived DC maturation and differation iv vitro, and the potentiation of the TNF-? or sCD40L to inhibit or reverse the IL-10′s inhibitory effect on monocyte-derived DC.Methods:The expression of the surface molecules on DC was detected by FACS analysis. The potentiation to stimulate T cell proliferation was assayed by 3H-TdR incorporation, and IL-12 secretion in the DC supernatant measured by ELISA.Results:In vitro DC-inducing system IL-10 had an obviously negative effect on the maturation as well as the potentiation to stimulate the T cell proliferation and IL-12 secretion of the immature monocyte-derived DC,and IL-10 could drive monocyte-derived DC differentiate into the macrophages. The negative effect was also correlative to the concentration of the added IL-10;The results also showed that IL-10 hadn′t any negative effect on mature DC induced by sCD40L,but to some extent could reduce the mature DC induced by TNF-? to produce IL-12;Furthermore the inhibitory effect of IL-10 can′t be reversed by adding TNF-? or sCD40L after IL-10 was added to the DC-inducing culture system for three days.Interesting by adding sCD40L not TNF-? to the DC-inducing culture system with IL-10 at the same time can inhibit the negative effect of IL-10 completely.Conclusion:IL-10 is an important biological factor produced in tumor microenvironment for escaping the attack of the immune system by repressing maturation, potentiation to costimulate the T cells and IL-12 secretion of the immature monocyte-derived DC.The reverse effect of TNF-? and sCD40L on IL-10 negative effect on monocyte-derived was different. All together suggested that CD40 signal has important values to obtain the therapeutic DC for the tumor immune intervention.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2020;32(1):37-41
Objective:
To analyze the association between tea drinking during pregnancy and the risk of preterm delivery and abortion,so as to provide basis for prevention of preterm delivery and abortion.
Methods:
The databases of CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,CBMdisc,PubMed and Web of Science were searched for cohort studies and case-control studies into the association between tea consumption during pregnancy and preterm delivery or abortion until June 30 th,2019. Relative risk(RR)or odds ratio(OR)were used as indicators for the meta-analysis.
Results:
A total of 1 099 articles were retrieved,14 of them were included in the quantitative study, including 9 cohort studies with 18 295 exposed and 71 890 unexposed individuals and 5 case-control studies with 1 351 cases and 3 059 controls. There was no statistically significant association between tea drinking during pregnancy and preterm birth or abortion(OR/RR=1.08,95%CI:0.99-1.18). The linear regression model of random effect showed that with the increase of tea consumption during pregnancy, the risk of premature delivery and abortion did not change significantly(OR/RR=1.05,95%CI:0.99-1.11). There was no publication bias found in Begg's test and Egger's test.
Conclusion
Drinking tea during pregnancy is not associated with preterm delivery and abortion.

Objective:Under the guidance of " Opinions on Strengthening Party Construction in Public Hospitals" enacted by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the performance evaluation index system for Party-committee secretaries has been released to reflect the overall leadership responsibility of Party committees at public hospitals. Methods:By means of literature review, policy learning and the preliminary work performance of Shanghai Hospital Development Center(SHDC), the framework of the target system was constructed. Three rounds of Delphi method were conducted to score 138 indicators based on eight aspects: result, objectivity, statistics, sensitivity, accessibility, quantifiability, importance and score-oriented. The final indicators were selected and statistically weighted. SPSS 20.0 software was used for descriptive statistical analysis, and Cronbach α evaluation coefficient method and Pearson correlation coefficient were also used to analyze the reliability and validity of indicators. Results:Following three rounds of Delphi research, 18 experts finally constructed a performance evaluation index system for Party committee secretaries that is composed of 4 level-1, 13 level-2 and 25 level-3 indexes. The new index system was used to simulate the scores of 14 hospitals, which was positively correlated with the survey results of third-party patient satisfaction( r=0.897, P<0.01), and was better than the original index system. Conclusions:The index system constructed in this study proves better quantitative objectivity and stronger operability. It has a good reliability and validity among the hospitals that belongs to SSHDC, and could be used for the evaluation of performance of Party-committee secretaries at public hospitals.

To address the increasing need for detecting and validating protein biomarkers in clinical specimens, mass spectrometry (MS)-based targeted proteomic techniques, including the selected reaction monitoring (SRM), parallel reaction monitoring (PRM), and massively parallel data-independent acquisition (DIA), have been developed. For optimal performance, they require the fragment ion spectra of targeted peptides as prior knowledge. In this report, we describe a MS pipe-line and spectral resource to support targeted proteomics studies for human tissue samples. To build the spectral resource, we integrated common open-source MS computational tools to assemble a freely accessible computational workflow based on Docker. We then applied the workflow to gen-erate DPHL, a comprehensive DIA pan-human library, from 1096 data-dependent acquisition (DDA) MS raw files for 16 types of cancer samples. This extensive spectral resource was then applied to a proteomic study of 17 prostate cancer (PCa) patients. Thereafter, PRM validation was applied to a larger study of 57 PCa patients and the differential expression of three proteins in prostate tumor was validated. As a second application, the DPHL spectral resource was applied to a study consisting of plasma samples from 19 diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) patients and 18 healthy control subjects. Differentially expressed proteins between DLBCL patients and healthy control subjects were detected by DIA-MS and confirmed by PRM. These data demonstrate that the DPHL supports DIA and PRM MS pipelines for robust protein biomarker discovery. DPHL is freely accessible at https://www.iprox.org/page/project.html?id=IPX0001400000.
