Objective To investigate the relationship between heart failure with normal ejection fraction and cardiac remodeling.Methods One hundred and eighty-eight cases with chronic heart failure were collected from January 2009 to March 2012 from Department of Cardiology of Longkou People's Hospital.In strictly accordance with the diagnostic criteria,participants were divided into HFNEF(n =109) and HFREF groups (n =79).According to the NYHA classification,HFNEF and HFREF patients were further divided into three subgroups respectively (HFNEF patients:52 cardiac function Ⅱ,36 cardiac function Ⅲ,21 cardiac function Ⅳ ;HFREF patients:13 cardiac function Ⅱ,27 cardiac functionⅢ,39 cardiac functionⅣ).The measurements of the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),left atrial diameter (LAD),interventricular septal thickness (IVST),left ventricular posterior wall thickness (LVPWT),right ventricular diameter (RVD) were conducted in all objects and their clinical data were statistically analyzed.Results Compared with HFREF patients,HFNEF group had older mean age ((64.59 ± 5.34) yrs vs.(58.89 ± 4.23) yrs,t =3.345,P =0.001),more female patients (58.7％ (64/109) vs.41.8％ (33/79),x2 =5.265,P =0.022),higher incidence of hypertension (81.65％ (89/109) vs.63.29％ (50/79),x2 =8.012,P =0.005).LVPWT,IVST,LAD,RVD gradually increased in HFNEF patients with the severity of cardiac function,with significant differences in LVPWT ((9.05 ± 1.89) mm vs.(11.30 ± 2.67) mm vs.(13.90 ± 2.77) mm,F =3.578,P =0.028),IVST ((9.35 ±1.75)mm vs.(11.51 ±2.48)mm vs.(12.98 ±3.01)mm,F =3.081,P =0.048),LAD ((31.23 ±5.98)mm vs.(35.55 ±7.31)mm vs.(44.81 ± 10.72)mm,F =6.711,P ＜0.001),but no difference in RVD ((18.95 ±1.02) mm vs.(19.21 ± 1.11) mm vs.(19.99 ± 0.98) mm,F =2.751,P ＞ 0.05).There was significant difference in LVPWT ((13.90 ±2.77)mm vs.(7.45 ±2.01)mm,t =11.439,P ＜0.001),IVST ((12.98 ±3.01)mm vs.(7.23 ± 1.94)mm,t =10.318,P ＜0.001),RVD ((19.99 ±0.98)mm vs.(23.51 ± 1.10)mm,t =2.838,P ＜ 0.001) between HFNEF and HFREF patients with Ⅳ level of cardiac function,while there was no statistical difference ((44.81 ± 10.72) nn vs.(46.30 ± 11.76) mm),t =1.451,P =0.151) on LAD.Conclusion Senior age,high proportions of women and essential hypertension are found in HFNEF patients.Impaired cardiac function has increasing impact on cardiac remodeling with the increase of severity but it almost has no effect on the right ventricle.Ventricular structural changes exist significantly different from HFNEF to HFREF.Therefore clinicians should have in-depth understanding of the characteristics of the HFNEF and its epidemiology,pathophysiology,diagnostic criteria and treatment principles in order to improve diagnosis and treatment of this class of patients.

Objective To compare the efficacy of amisulpride and other SGAs in treating the negative symptoms of Schizophrenia.Methods The randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about Schizophrenia treated with amisulpride and other SGAs from Jan 1995 to Mar 2013 were searched in The Pubmed,EMbase,Cochrane Library,WanFang Data,CNKI and VIP.Two reviewers independently screened the literatures,extracted the data,and evaluated the methodological quality.Than meta-analyses were conducted by using RevMan 5.1 and Stata 12.0 software.Results The totall3 RCTs were included.Among the 1814 patients involved.The results of meta-analyses showed that the score of PANSS-N was no significant differences between two groups (MD =-0.33,95％ CI:(-0.87,0.21),Z =1.20,P =0.23) ; and the score of SANS was no significant differences between two groups (MD =-0.21,95％ CI:(-1.51,1.50),Z =0.31,P =0.76).The side effects were more in other SGAs group than those in amisulpride group.Conclusion Amisulpride is as effective as other SGAs for the treatment of schizophrenia with predominantly negative symptoms,and it has more advantage than other SGAs in safety.

Objective To explore the effect of theta burst stimulation (TBS) paradigm of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rT-MS) on executive function in patients with chronic schizophrenia. Methods 60 patients meeting DSM-IV for chronic schizophrenia disor-ders criteria were enrolled. They were randomly divided into TBS group (n=30) and sham intervention group (n=30). They were assessed with digit span performance, space span performance and Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST) before and 4 weeks after intervention. Re-sults After intervention, the forward score of digit span performance, the total score and forward score of space span performance increased (P<0.05), the error selection percentage, the error selection number and the percentage of error number of WCST decreased, the percentage of conceptual level of WCST increased (P<0.05) in the TBS group. However, there was no significant difference in the digit span perfor-mance, space span performance and WSCT in the sham intervention group (P>0.05). There was significant difference in all the items be-tween 2 groups after intervention (P<0.05). Conclusion TBS paradigm of rTMS could improve the executive function in schizophrenic pa-tients.

Methods 60 patients met with DSM?4 and ICD?10 for schizophrenia disorders criteria were enrolled in this study. The group was divided into theta burst stimulation group(research group, n=30) and sham intervention group ( control group, n=30) . The research group and control group were assessed with the Wisconsin card sorting test (WCST) and the go/no?go task by event?related potential(ERPs) before and after 4 weeks treatment. Each test results of all groups before and after treatment were compared with each other respectively. Results Regarding the WCST test,compared with the baseline,the post?rTMS state of the TBS group showed a decrease in the error selec?tion percentage((59.8±14.7)%),the preservative error number(55.3±18.0) and the preservative error percentage (71.3±12.6)%,but the percentage of conceptual level(71.3±12.6)% increased in the TBS group(P<0.05). Re?garding the go/no?go task by ERPs,compared with the baseline,the post?rTMS statet of the TBS group showed an increase in the no?go P3 amplitude(P<0.05 or 0.01) . After intervention,the score of WCST test and the no?go P3 amplitude were significant differences in TBS group compared with same rTMS group(P>0.05).Conclusions The?ta burst stimulation paradigm of rTMS can improve the executive function in schizophrenic patients.

In an attempt to overcome the limitations of titanium in dental and orthopaedic clinical applications, a new method has been developed to prepare calcium carbonate coatings on sandblasted and acid-etched (SA) titanium implants. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of calcium carbonate-SA (CC-SA) implants on osseointegration in vivo. The surfaces of SA and CC-SA implants were characterised for surface morphology and surface chemistry. Subsequently, these two kinds of implants were implanted in the femoral condyles of rabbits. The implants were retrieved and prepared for histological and histomorphometric evaluation 1, 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks after implantation. Significantly higher values of bone-to-implant contact of the entire implant except the gap area (BIC_ALL) and the bone-to-implant contact of the gap area (BIC_GAP) were found in animals with the CC-SA implants than in those with the SA implants at 4 weeks. Higher values of total gap bone were found in those with the CC-SA implants than in those with the SA implants at 1, 2 and 4 weeks. In conclusion, the current findings demonstrate that the calcium carbonate coating can improve and accelerate the early ingrowth of bone and osseointegration at the early healing phase. This may reduce clinical healing times and thus improve implant success rates.

Objective To determine,the clinical significance of serum myocardial enzymes (Mb,cTNI, CK,CK-Mb,AST,LDH) in the classification of the disease severity of non-cardiogenic critically-ill patients. Compared with APACHEⅡscore concerned as the standard diagnosis of the critical ills,these biomarkers were investigated for the evaluation possibility of the degree and the prognosis of the critical ills.Method Patients admitted to our EICU were consecutively collected for the research from April to December in 2005 and the myocardial enzymes,and routine serum biochemical test and APACHEⅡscore were detected simultaneously.All the patients were classified to three groups according to the APACHEⅡscore (mild group,APACHEⅡ25) and two groups (survive group and death group) according to the prognosis.All the patients were followed up till recovery/discharge or death. Covariance,Wilcoxon and x~2 were used for the statistical analysis.Results The myocardial enzymes rose when the disease deteriorated and the APACHEⅡscore went up.AST,LDH,CK,CK-Mb,Mb were significantly different in the three groups according to the APACHEⅡscore (P

Objective:To study the expression and clinical significance of neuron-specific enolase,chromogranin and synaptophysin in islet cell tumors.Methods:Twenty-one paraffin-embedded specimens with islet tumors and 3 cases cholangiocarcinoma and tissue nearby the tumor were recruited from Jan 1988 to Jun 2001.The S-P method was used for the detection of chromogranin,synaptophysin and neuron-specific enolase.Results:There were positive expressions of neuron-specific enolase,chromogranin and synaptophysin in 19,15 and 18 cases respectively,while negative results were observed in 3 cases of cholangiocarcinoma and the para-cancer tissue.Conclusion:CG,SYN and NSE may be specific tumor markers of islet cell tumors and combined detection can help to enhance the sensitivity.
