OBJECTIVETo observe the effects of electroacupuncture at Neiguan (PC 6) and Jianshi (PC 5) com- bined with granisetron on nausea and vomiting as well as serum levels of 5-hydroxy tryptamine (5-HT) and dopamine (DA) in chemotherapy patients.

METHODSSeventy-two chemotherapy patients who met the inclusive criteria were randomly divided into an observation group (38 cases) and a control group (34 cases). The patients in the observation group were treated with electroacupuncture at Neiguan (PC 6) and Jianshi (PC 5) combined with granisetron injection; the patients in the control group were treated with electroacupuncture at sham-point 1 and sham- point 2, and the rest treatment was identical to the observation group. After 3-day treatment, the clinical indices including times of vomiting and severity of nausea, etc. were observed in the two groups.

RESULTS(1) At the acute stage within 24 h, the times of vomiting in the two groups were not significantly different (P>0.05); at the delay stage, the severity of nausea was significantly higher in the control group (P<0.05). (2) As for the comprehensive efficacy and rate of complete control, there was no obvious difference between the two groups at the acute stage (P>0.05); while in the delay stage, the rate of complete control in the observation group was superior to that in the control group (P<0.01). (3) Compared before and after the treatment, serum levels of 5-HT and DA were evidently reduced in the observation group (both P<0.05), while those in the control group were not significantly changed after treatment (both P>0.05).

CONCLUSIONElectroacupuncture at Neiguan (PC 6) and Jianshi (PC 5) combined with granisetron could obviously relieve the nausea in chemotherapy patients at the delay stage. The effect mechanism is possibly related to reducing the content of 5-HIT nndl nA

Objective To explore the effects of progressive relaxation training on the nailfold microcirculation for psychological stress state population .Methods According to the mental health screening criteria ,60 cases of psychological healthy individuals were selected as the research object ,took the attention distribution test as psychological stress stimulation ,test self rating anxiety scale(SAS) and nailfold microcirculation function changes of test before and after stress .60 cases were divided into intervention group and normal control group ,30 cases in each group .The intervention group adopted progressive relaxation training intervention after stress ,while normal control group taking natural rest ,then detected the change of nailfold microcirculation .Results The SAS level and the nailfold microcirculation parameters before and after stress between the two groups were significantly different (P<0 .05);the difference of nailfold microcirculation morphological integral and the total integral between the two groups were statisti-cally significant(P<0 .01);and there were no difference on flow integral and around the loop integral between the two groups (P>0 .05) .Conclusion Progressive relaxation training can effectively improve the microcirculation state of the psychological stress a-mong people ,under certain conditions ,the effective intervention to the stress state population can influence the microcirculation .

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of permanent 125I prostate brachytherapy monotherapy in patients with early prostate cancer. Methods A total of 18 patients with prostate cancer was diagnosed by prostate biopsy,with Gleason score 5 - 6,average PSA 5.09 ng/ml (range,0.38 -8.73 ),and clinical stage T1c - T2a.All patients underwent 3-dimensional conformal brachytherapy with transperineal ultrasound-guide 125I seeds prostate implantation. Results None of the patients had any adverse events during the operation processes.The operation time was from 37 to 52 minutes and postoperative hospitalization time was from 3 to 4 days.The mean number of implanted 125I seeds was 54.All patients were followed up for 3 to 57 months with a mean of 15 months,while one patient was lost during followingup.The survival rate of PSA progression free was 100％ (17/17).The PSA was under 0.2 ng/ml for a long time in the 7 cases who had been followed-up for more than 18 months.The PSA did not show any rising trend in all 17 cases.No severe complications occurred in all cases. Conclusions Brachytherapy monotherapy with 125I seeds implantation is safe and effective for patients with early prostate cancer.

Objective To study the anti-tumor effect of 5-aza-2′-deoxycytidine(5-aza-dC) on breast carcinoma xenografted in nude mice. Methods The model of breast carcinoma xenografted in nude mice was established.Ten mice were randomized into the treatment group(treated with 5-aza-dC) and control group(treated with PBS).The mass of the tumors before and after treatment were measured in the two groups,and the inhibition rate of the tumor was calculated and the growth curve was drawn.Immunohistochemistry and Western blotting were employed to detect the expression of normal epithelial cell specific-1(NES1)gene. The methods of ISSR, HPLC, 1H-NMR and NIR were respectively used for exploring its genotype and investigating on its chemitype . In the respects of an-ti-endotoxin, anti-bacterial activities and insulin resistance that was related to the treatment of diabetes, the pharmacodynamic type was studied and the relationship was comprehensively analyzed . The quality evaluation of geo-authentic medicinal materials was preliminarily established based on ecotype , genotype chemitype and phar-macodynamic type of Rhizoma Coptidis . Simultaneously, quality standards of Rhizoma Coptidis were set up in combination with genuine character , which provided the scientific basis for establishing Chinese medicine char-acteristic methods of quality evaluation of Rhizoma Coptidis .

This paper briefly analyzed and discussed the current status and major scientific challenges of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulaology research. To promote formulaology research, a new strategy and corresponding technology, network formulaology, were proposed to reveal the complex interaction between functional chemome and biological responses network. The research framework and directions of network formulaology were also summarized and prospected.

Objective To explore the risk factors and seek effective intervention of intracranial hemorrhage in the premature in-fants .Methods Clinical data of the premature infants in our hospital from January 2009 to December 2013 was retrospectively ana-lysed and single factor analysis of 20 relevant factors was done for cases with intracerebral haemorrhage and without intracerebral haemorrhage .Logistic regression analysis were done for some influence factors of intracranial hemorrhage .Results 1 726 cases of premature babies were included in the study ,including 264 cases of intracranial hemorrhage .Logistic regression analysis results shown that the neonatal transport network and integrated active transport models are protective factors of intracranial hemorrhage in the premature infant .We found that basic-level hospital transport was an independent risk factor .Between January 2009 and De-cember 2011 ,142 of 714 premature infants were intracranial hemorrhage ,including 88 cases from 348 patients transported from bas-ic-level hospital ,the incidence of intracranial hemorrhage was 25 .29% ,and compared with the incidence of intracranial hemorrhage (14 .75% ) of our hospital ,the difference was statistically significant (P<0 .05) .From January 2012 ,we established perfect neonatal transport network and implementation of comprehensive active transport model .122 of 1 012 premature infants were intracranial hemorrhage ,including 75 cases of 490 patients from basic-level hospitals .The incidence was statistically significant different com-pared with the incidence of intracranial hemorrhage(9 .00% ) transported from our hospital(P<0 .05) .The incidence of intracranial hemorrhage in the premature infants transported from basic-level hospitals were statistically different before and after neonatal transport network and comprehensive active transport model was established (P<0 .01) .Conclusion It will effectively reduce the incidence of intracranial hemorrhage in the premature infant by establishing the perfect regional neonatal three-level network trans-port system and comprehensive active transport models .

According to the Organ Injury Scale Grading System of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST-OIS),grade Ⅴ liver trauma is always complicated with retrohepatic inferior vena cava injury and less bile duct injury,and it is extremely severe and difficult to be treated.Timely and fast judgment,emergent exploration and effective repair of the injured bile duct are the key points for the treatment of bile duct injury.One patient with grade Ⅴ liver trauma combined with hilar bile duct transection injury was admitted to the Fuzhou General Hospital of Nanjing Military Command on August 30,2013.The rupture of left and right liver junction was detected by preoperative multidisciplinary consultation and emergency open surgery at admission hour 4.There was left and right hepatic duct bifurcation rupture at the first hepatic hilum.Non-functional liver tissues were excised.Breakage left and middle hepatic vein were sutured by polymer suture line.Liver traumatic bleeding and bile duct were sutured and ligatured individually.Left and right hepatic duct laceration was sutured by 6-0 PDS suture line.A hole in the stomach wall was opened fist,and then most part of the gastric contents was removed and the gastric wall was reparied by stapler.Patient received the postoperative symptomatic treatment with gradual recovery,and was discharged from hospital at admission day 26.The patient was readmitted to the hospital at 31 days of discharge due to outflow of purulent fluid from abdominal cavity drainage tube,and was treated by ceftriaxone sodium and tazobactam sodium according to the results of drug sensitive test and continuous peritoneal lavage.The abdominal cavity drainage tube and left and right hepatic duct drainage tube were removed at postoperative day 83.The patient was discharged from hospital at readmission day 28,and was followed up till December 2014 with good recovery and without complication.

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristic,diagnosis and treatment of familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP).Methods According to family history of the proband,we surveyed the pedigree and retrospectively analyzed the clinical characteristics of 10 FAP patients in 3 generations of the family.Result Among all 10 cases,3 died of colorectal cancer including two of whom had history of intestinal obstruction.Seven people of the third generation were all diagnosed as FAP.Among them,only 2 patients had clinical symptoms.Colonoscopy was done in all 7 patients before 35 years old.However,none of them had polyps or evidence of cancer.Surgical operation was performed on 1 patient and high frequency electric cutting under endoscopy was performed on 6 patients.Conclusions The early clinical manifestations of FAP are nonspecific.Pedigree investigation and colonoscopy screening for high-risk population are important to find early asymptomatic FAP patients.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is an important part of modern medicine. Application of modern ana-lytical techniques to identify the authenticity of TCM and evaluate its quality is an important and critical content in the process of the modernization and internationalization of TCM. This paper described the development and charac-teristics of a 1H-NMR-based metabolomics technology, and reviewed its application in the species identification, quality evaluation of Daodi Y aocai (i.e., genuine medicinal materials), processing theory and the best harvest time of TCM. Besides, based on previous work, further discussion was given on technical methods and key question of the 1H-NMR metabolomics method. This paper provided a methodological reference for the species identification and quality evaluation of TCM and other herbal medicines.
