1.Research progress on the relationship between FOXM1 and neo-plasm metabolism
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2015;42(22):1108-1111
FOXM1 is a member of the FOX family of transcription factors and has been confirmed to participate in cell prolifera-tion and cell cycle progress. FOXM1 has been reported to play an important role in more than 20 types of human neoplasms, and its up-regulation promotes tumor cell proliferation, invasion, metastasis, chemotherapy drug resistance, and resistance to apoptosis. In recent years, various studies have shown that FOXM1 also plays an important role in tumor metabolism. The metabolism of cancer cells deter-mines the growth and survival of cancer, and metabolic alteration is a key feature of tumor cells. The connection between metabolic ab-normalities and tumorigenesis has been reported. The O-linkedβ-N-acetylglucosamine transferase regulates the expression of FOXM1, which helps tumor cells survive without damage caused by oxidative stress. This review aims to summarize the known relationships of FOXM1 and tumor cell metabolism, as well as its role in the potential pathways of tumor metabolism.

5.Advances in the application of human embryonic stem cells in disease treatment
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(10):-
The application of human embryonic stem cell(hES cell) contributes a lot to the disease treatment, and shows a great potentiality especially in organ transplantation and tissue engineering.Although hES cell therapy has not reached clinical application, some newly achieved results are encouraging. This review mainly presents results recently published in applying hES cell for disease treatment.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2008;31(21):23-25
Objective To study the efficacy, safety and compliance of insulin human analog insulin aspart (NovoRapid) and insulin zinc protamine analog (Basulin) in the application on type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)pafients during perioperative period. Methods Sixty T2DM patients were divided into 3 groups (n=20). Group A was treated with NovoRapid+Basulin, group B was treated with insulin human (Humulin R + Humulin N) and group C was treated with insulin pump (Humulin and NovoRapid). Blood glucose was detected in all of the patients before the meal, 2 hours after meal, before the sleep and during the operation. Results Blood glucose could all achieve the control level with the three methods of treatment. The rates of hypoglycemia in the three groups were 10%, 30% and 5% respectively, and the rates of patient satisfaction were 95%, 70% and 100% respectively. Conclusions Insulin human analog could control blood glucose effectively and safely, the compliance is also high. It is feasible of applying insulin human analog in the blood glucose control during perioperative period.

8. Determination of propofol in follicular fluid by HPLC
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2013;48(9):743-745
OBJECTIVE: To develop a sensitive and specific reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) method to determine propofol in follicular fluid. METHODS: Thymol was added into follicular fluid samples as the internal standard, and the samples were then precipitated with methanol. After centrifugation at 20000 r·min-1 for 15 min, 20 μL of supernatant was directly injected into an Agilent Extend-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm). The mobile phase was composed of methanol-water (77:23). Analysis was run at a flow rate of 1.0 mL ·min-1. Fluorescence detection was applied with excitation and emission wavelengths of 276 and 310 nm, respectively. RESULTS: The calibration curves had good linearity in the range of 0.108-5.4 mg·L-1. The linear regression equation was A=0.2074ρ-0.0012(r=0.9993). The limits of detection and quantity proved to be 54 and 108 μg·L-1, respectively. The method recoveries for low, intermediate and high concentrations were 117.9%, 101.7% and 99.4%, respectively. The RSDs of inter-day assay were 4.10%, 1.28% and 0.20%(n=5), and intra-day assay were 4.34%, 2.33% and 0.61%(n=5), respectively. CONCLUSION: The method is accurate and convenient. It can be used to determine propofol for studying its clinical pharmacokinetics.

Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(01):-
Objective To study the effects of formaldehyde on activities of enzymes in testes of male mice. Methods Male Kunming mice were used. Experimental groups had been exposed to formaldehyde with different doses by i.p. once per day for 7 consecutive days. The formaldehyde doses were 0.2, 2.0 and 20.0 mg/kg body weight. The mice were killed after 7 days of treatment and their testes were fetched out to be made into even slurry and the activities of LDH, G-6-PD and SDH in them were tested. Results The activities of G-6-PD and SDH were decreased with the increasing of doses of formaldehyde. Compared with the control group, the activities of SDH in each exposed group had significantly decreased (P

Chinese Journal of Urology 1994;0(02):-
Objective To evaluate the treatment and p re vention of urethral stricture complicated by transurethral vapo-resection of pr ostate (TVP). Methods Retrospective analysis was conduct ed by reviewing medical records and following up the patients under study.Among 3012 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia treated with TVP, urethral stric ture occurred 4 weeks to 22 months following surgery in 95 cases (3.15 %), inclu ding anterior in 47 (49.5%),posterior in 31 (32.6 %) and bladder neck contractur e or occlusion in 17 (17.9%).Their mean age was 68.7 years (range, 55 to 85 year s). Results The 95 patients were followed up for 4~36 m o nths (mean,14 months).Of them,65 cases underwent conventional dilation, in them 59 (90.8%) were cured and 6 had failure, then turning to internal urethrotomy;19 cases underwent internal urethrotomy plus dilation,in them,13 (68.4%) were cured and 6 had failure, then turning to urethroplasty;17 cases of bladder neck contra cture or occlusion underwent transurethral resection of bladder neck scar tissue ,with a cure rate of 88.2% (15 were cured and 2 experienced failure). Conclusions Urethral stricture is a common complication after TVP. The key points of managing the strictures are patients’ alert, close follow-up and early effective treatment.
