3.Effect on the mechanical characteristics of matrix in buffalo cornu soaked by hydrogen peroxide
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2008;12(23):4597-4600
BACKGROUND: Previous research reveals that, the morphous, structure, physicochemical property and mechanical characteristics of matrix in buffalo cornu all contribute to the biomaterials in the field of orthopaedics.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the correlation between the duration of matrix in buffalo cornu soaked in 30% hydrogen peroxide and the antigenicity, the biomechanical intensity of matrix in buffalo cornu treated by deproteinization.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: Measurement experiments were performed in the Mechanics Laboratory, Kunming University of Science and Technology (Kunming, Yunnan, China) from February to March in 2000.MATERIALS: Buffalo was provided by Luxi Abattoir of Yunnan Province (China), and then processed into test pieces at a nominal thickness.METHODS: The metric test pieces were rinsed with distilled water and soaked by chloroform-methyl alcohol at a ratio of 1:1 for 48 hours, then in 30% hydrogen peroxide for 24 and 48 hours, which served as the experimental group. While those remaining untreated were taken as controls.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The modulus of elasticity and compressive strength were measured by electric measurement method and direct pressurization method, respectively.RESULTS: The modulus of elasticity between the experimental group and the control group had no significant difference (P>0.05). The compressive strength in the control group was significantly higher than that in the experimental group (P<0.01), and there were no significant differences between the experimental group treated for 24 hours and the experimental group treated for 48 hours (P>0.05).CONCLUSION: Subsequent to soaking in 30% hydrogen peroxide for 48 hours, the matrix in buffalo cornu maintains better biomechanicai intensity.
4.STUDY ON 3D-QSAR OF PPARγ AGONISTS WITH THIAZOLIDINEDIONE AND ARYLKETO-ACID MOIETIES
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2001;36(4):262-268
AIM To build a model of two series of PPARγ agonists thiazolidinedione and aryketo-acid derivatives using 3D-QSAR method, and to reveal the structural features affecting the binding activity to PPARγ, which relates to antihyperglycemic and antihyperlipidemic activity and has a potential application to the treatment of type II diabetes. METHODS and RESULTS 48 agonists with selective activity for PPARγ were analyzed using CoMFA. Based upon the active conformation of rosiglitazone (BRL) extracted from its complex with PPARγ all agonists were aligned. The model from CoMFA showed a high ability to explain and predict the activity of PPARγ agonists with cross-validation correlation coefficient R2=0.656, that of non-cross-validataion R2=0.982, F10,37=201.1, and SE=0.115. CONCLUSION The CoMFA contour map indicates that the steric fields mainly contribute to the binding effect, and especially a bulky group in the arylketo-acid series favors in the increase of affinity for PPARγ, as compared to the thiazolidinedione.
5.An Analysis of Low-field MRI in Early Stage of Cerebral Hemorrhage
Journal of Practical Radiology 2010;26(1):14-16,35
Objective To approach the characteristics of low-field MRI in early stage of cerebral hemorrhage. Methods 38 cases with early stage of cerebral hemorrhage (superacute stage in 26 and acute stage in 12) underwent low-field MRI examination. Results The hematomas located in the basal ganglia regions in 23,thalamus in 9 and other intracerebral regions in 6.The hematomas appeared as reniform, suborbicular or irregular shape with different size. The hematomas exhibited homogeneously iso-intensity on T_1WI and iso-,slightly high or high signal intensity on T_2WI and FLAIR,in which 5 hematomas exhibited iso- or slightly high signal intensity on T_2WI,and 4 hematomas exhibited homogeneously or inhomogeneously high signal intensity on DWI.There was brain edema around the hematomas.25 hematomas had occupied effect, and 4 hemotomas broke into ventriculus and 2 hemotomas caused by hemorrhage of broken arteriovenous malformation. Conclusion Low-field MRI is of high sensitivity and specificity in diagnosis of early stage of cerebral hemorrhage.
6.Reform of the HIS system against the total prepaid and separation of medicine and pharmacy
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2014;30(3):207-210
Covered in the paper are reform efforts made by the hospital on the HIS system amid the pilot programs total prepaid and mcdicine-drug separation trials in Beijing.Findings of the programs revealed defects of the HIS system, for example measures for refusal of payment of non-compliance items, and real-time reimbursement for patients. In view of these setbacks, the hospital made further attempts to the system in such aspects of the fundamental maintenance, rational drug usage and new problems, for the purpose of successful completion of the pilot programs at the hospital.Discussions were also made as to how to adapt the HIS system to total prepaid and the separation reforms, aiming at helping those not yet initiated with the reforms, and the information sharing of patient diagnosis/treatment records and social insurance payment at all hospitals in Beijing.

8.Changes of Drug Transporters Expression in Brains of Chronic Epileptic Rats Induced by Lithium-Pilocarpine
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(08):-
Objective To explore the expression of drug transporter organic anion transporting polypeptide2(Oatp2) and P-glycoprotein(P-gp) in brains of chronic epileptic rats induced by lithium-pilocarpine.Methods Chronic epilepsy modles were elicited after status epilepticus(SE) induced by lithium-pilocarpine in adult Wistar rats. The expressions of Oatp2 and P-gp were detected by immuno-histochemistry(SABC) method. Results Positive expression of Oatp2 was predominantly in the plexus epithelial cells and(blood-brain) barrier endothelial cells.Weak staining for Oatp2 was also detected in the neurocyte. In contrast, apparent expression of(P-gp) was seen in brain capillary and neurocyte only.Compared with normal control rats, expression of Oatp2 on the plexus epithelial cells and brain capillary in chronic epileptic rats was significantly decreased(P
9.Determination of ?~9-tetrahydrocannabinol Content in Hemp by GC-MS
China Pharmacy 1991;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE:To determine the content of ?9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in hemp by GC-MS. METHODS: HP-5 quartz capillary column was used. The temperature programming was as follows: the initial temperature was kept at 200 ℃ for 1 min, then raised to 270 ℃ at the rate of 3 ℃?min-1 and kept for 10 min; the injector temperature was 280 ℃and the detector temperature was 290 ℃. RESULTS: The good linearity between peak area and concentration was obtained over the range of 5.0 ~45.0 ?g?mL-1 (r=0.998 7). The lowest detectable limit was 1.0 ?g?mL-1(S/N=5).The average recovery rate was 81.1% (RSD=3.8%,n=9). CONCLUSION: The procedure is simple, accurate and reproducible, and suitable for the quality control of hemp preparation.
