6.Application of Color Doppler ultrasound in diagnosis of traumatic retinal detachment
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(6):736-737
Objective To research the diagnosis value in color Doppler ultrasound on traumatic retinal detachment. Methods 30 cases(30 eyes)with traumatic retinal detachment were confirmed by B-mode ultrasonography and surgery. The characteristics and blood flow were observed by color Doppler ultrasound. Results 30 cases, among partial detachment in 18 cases, completely detachment in 9 cases, old detachment in 2 cases, and completed with detachment of choroids in 1 case;30 cases, greater than 0.1 in 7 eyes ( 23.3% ), 0. 01 ~0. 1 in 10 eyes (33.3%),counting fingers in 4 eyes( 13.3% ) ,manual in 5 eyes ( 16.6% ) ,no light perception in 4 eyes( 13.3% ); The visual acuity in patients after treatment had significantly increased compared with before treatment( χ2 =7. 394 ,P =0. 015 );The lower intraocular pressure of retinal hemorrhage, serous choroidaland hemorrhagic choroidal had no significant difference[4 eye(33. 3% ) ,4 eye(33. 3% ) ,4 eye(33.3% ) ,respectively] (χ2 =3. 004,P=0. 343). Conclusion The color doppler ultrasound diagnosis in traumatic retinal detachment, with its capacity of early finding and accurate and reliable, have significant meaning to clinical treatment and prognosis.
8.Effect comparison of different operation technique on the prevention of cross infection in department of stomatology
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2008;24(18):43-44
Objective To describe the effect of four-handed technique on the prevention of cross infection in department of stomatology. Methods Patients (300 cases) in department of stomatology were collected and randomized into the observation group (using four-handed technique) and the control group (not using four-handed technique) with 150 cases in each group from May 2003 to October 2004. One patient was served by one doctor and one nurse in the treatment process. Sterilization isolation system was strictly implemented in order to prevent cross infection. The control group received routine treatment. The incidence rate of infection was compared in the two groups. Results Ten patients (6.7%) were infected in the control group. Only 3 patients (2.0%) were infected in the observation group, which was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions Four-handed technique played an important role in the prevention of cross infection by blocking the iatrogenic infection propagation.
9.Dynamic distribution of foot pressure when undergraduates jog
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(46):9109-9112
BAcKGROUND:The specific research on the interaction between feet and ground when jogging, plays an important role for a deeper understanding of the basic laws of human motion.OBJECTIVE:To test dynamic foot pressure distribution during jogging of 64 undergraduates.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A single sample design, the experiment was carried out in Tianjin Normal University Sports Institute in March 2009.PARTICIPANTS:A total of 68 male collego students, without history of foot traumatic or deformities and with normal ankle joint, were involved in this study.METHODS:Totally 68 university students were analyzed by the Footacan USB2 system(RSscan,Belgium)when jogging atnormal gait(5m/s).Dynamic foot pressure was determined three times.Analysis of foot pressure distribution system could gain a complete gait cycle of foot pressure distribution, data acquisition and analysis software used footscan SOFTWARE7.0,foot process of analysis was divided into 10 regions:the first phalange, the second to the fifth phalanges, the first metatarsal, the second metatarsal, the third metatarsal, the fourth metatarsal, the fifth metatarsal, arch, medial heel and lateral heel.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Foot pressure, intensity of pressure, force interval and impulse when jogging.RESULTS:The foot stress-time curve showed a single peak;foot maximum pressure located at the second metatarsal, the site of impulse descending order was the third metatarsal.the first metatarsal, heel, the first phalange, the fourth metatarsal, the fifth metatarsal, the second to the fifth phalange, arch;the distribution of both feet was similar. The pressure of right foot in the second metatarsal, the first metatarsal and the first phalange was significantly greater than the left foot; The contact phases of the full foot and deport from ground occupied 90% of support time, the pressure center was densely in the middle of half sole, the fore intarval of sole was long. The contact time of right foot was significantly larger than left foot. The biggest impulse was the site of the second metatarsal, the order from great to small was the first metatarsal, the third metatarsal, the first phalange, heel, the fourth metatarsal, arch.the second to the fifth phalange, the fifth metatarsal;the distribution of both feet was similar. The impulse of right foot was greater than left foot, while the impulse of the second metatarsal, the first metatarsal and the first phalange were greater than left foot, the difference had statistical significance.CONCLUSI0N:The largest pressure part is the second metatarsal when jogging, the pressure center in the foot locates in the middle of half sole, and the largest impulse is the second metatarsal, most of the impulse focus on the front end of the first to the third metatarsals of the half sole.It is indicated that the middle part of the footpad would be injured easily when jogging,so we should pay attention to the selection of shoes when exercising.
10.Analysis of thyroid hormones changes in pregnant women of different gestation
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(19):2599-2601
Objective To investigate the changes of thyroid hormones in pregnant women of different gestation by analyzing the test results from pregnant women .Methods Authors collected serum from 1 764 pregnant women and 121 healthy women(not pregnant ,control group) .And the levels of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH) ,free triiodothyronine(FT3 ) and free thyroxine (FT4 ) in serum were tested by chemiluminescence microparticle immunization analysis(CMIA) method .Results The level of TSH (1 .06 mIU/L) in early-gestation women was lower than that in control group(P<0 .05) ,but increased in mid-gestation and late-gestation ,there was significant difference among early-gestation ,mid-gestation and late-gestation women(P<0 .05) .The levels of FT3 and FT4 in early-gestation women were higher than those in control group(P<0 .05) ,but decreased during mid-gestation and late-gestation ,there was significant difference among early-gestation ,mid-gestation and late-gestation women(P<0 .05) .Conclusion Thyroid hormones of pregnant women change in different gestation periods ,different reference values have to be adapted to evaluate thyroid gland function .
