Autonomic functions were evaluated in 64 long-lerm maintenance hemodialysis patients,11 cases before and after transplantation and 15 controls.The results showed that adequate dialysis could stop the development of autonomic dysfunction (AD) in uremic patients,but the effect in improving AD was limited and not related to the duration of hemodialysis.Renal transplantation could reverse AD and result in complete normalization of autonomic function.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate clinical effects of aescuven forte combined with routine drugs in the treatment of vari-cocele(VC). METHODS:A total of 86 patients with VC selected from our hospital during Feb. 2015-Jan. 2016 were divided into control group and observation group according to odd and even number,with 43 cases in each group. Control group was given rou-tine drug therapy. Observation group was additionally given Aescuven forte tablet 300 mg,po,bid,on the basis of control group. Treatment course of 2 groups lasted for 3 months. Clinical efficacies as well as testicular artery blood flow parameters,seminal plas-ma lab indexes and semen quality were compared between 2 groups. The occurrence of ADR was also compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:Total response rate of observation group was 90.70％,which was significantly higher than 72.09％ of control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in above indexes between 2 groups(P>0.05). Compared to before treatment,testicular artery peak systolic velocity,resistance index and pulsatility index of 2 groups were decreased significantly after treatment,while plasma α-glucosidase,acid phosphatase,Fructose,sperm activate rate of for-ward movement,total sperm activate rate and sperm density were increased significantly;each index of observation group was bet-ter than that of control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05);there was no statistical significance in end diastolic velocity between 2 groups before and after treatment(P>0.05). No obvious ADR was found in 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:Aescuven forte combined with routine drug therapy help to improve testicular artery blood flow status of VC patients,regulate the content of semi-nal plasma related molecules and improve semen quality so as to improve clinical efficacy with good safety.

The golden standard for the treatment of invasive bladder cancer is radical cystectomy. However its application is limited in certain circumstances because of surgical trauma,complications,and impacts on quality of life. As organ preservation protocols have become the standard in the treatment of some malignancies such as breast cancer、anal cancer、esophageal cancer,the multimodality treatment with bladder preservation was introduced to cure invasive bladder cancer, which can retain normal bladder function without a marked compromise of overall survival and is a viable, reasonable alternative for the treatment of invasive bladder cancer. This review highlights the advances in multimodality treatment with bladder preservation for invasive bladder cancer.

Objective To study whether CK20 expression could be served as a noninvasive test for detecting and monitoring bladder cancer. Methods Reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT PCR) was used to determine the expression of CK20 in cells collected from the urine of 10 healthy volunteers,41 patients with bladder cancer and in 20 hematuria patients with bladder cancer excluded. Results CK20 amplification band (370bp) was obtained with mRNA extracted from TCC cells of bladder cancer. Of 41 patients with bladder cancer, 37 specimen were positive.No false positive cases were found in the 10 healthy controls and only in 3 of the 20 hematuric cases.Of the 3 false positive, 2 had pelvic cancer and 1 chronic inflammation. CK20 was positive in 23 of the 25 G 1 patients,in 8 of the 9 G 2 patients,and in 6 of the 7 G 3 patients. Conclusions The preliminary results showed that CK20 might be a potential biomarker for the noninvasive detection of bladder cancer by means of assaying urothelial cells from the voided urine specimen with RT PCR.

[Conclusions] Doctors’Right of Intervention is reasonable and legal, so when patients or their family members make wrong or harmful choice in treatment, doctors should exercise the Doctors ’Right of Intervention without hesitation to help them to choose the right way or make decisions for them.

The application of genetic engineering technology in modern agriculture shows its outstanding role in dealing with food shortage. Traditional medicinal plant cultivation and collection have also faced with challenges, such as lack of resources, deterioration of environment, germplasm of recession and a series of problems. Genetic engineering can be used to improve the disease resistance, insect resistance, herbicides resistant ability of medicinal plant, also can improve the medicinal plant yield and increase the content of active substances in medicinal plants. Thus, the potent biotechnology can play an important role in protection and large area planting of medicinal plants. In the development of medicinal plant genetic engineering, the safety of transgenic medicinal plants should also be paid attention to. A set of scientific safety evaluation and judgment standard which is suitable for transgenic medicinal plants should be established based on the recognition of the particularity of medicinal plants.

Objective To analyze the regulation of NEF3 expression in SH - SY5Y after RA induction. Methods The expression of NEF3 and Brg1 genes was individually detected by realtime RT - PCR and Western blot analyses. Then, the CAT reporter driven by 5' flanking region ofNEF3 gene (pBLCAT3 -2. 8k - NEF3) was co - transfccted with eukaryotic expression plasmids of pBJ5 - Brgl or pBJ5 - Brg1 - NTP into SH - SY5Y respectively. Promoter activity of the NEF3 gene was detected by competitive RT - PCR assay. Results Similar changes in the mRNA expression of NEF3 and Brg1 and that of the protein expression of Brgl were detected in Sh - SY5Y cells af-ter RA treatment for 12 -24h. Wild type Brgl can promote the expression of pBLCAT3 -2.8k -NEF3 promoter after RA induction, but not mutant Brg1. Conclusion Brgl helpes regulating the expression of NEF3 gene possibly via changes in chromatin conformation in the SH -SY5Y cells after RA induction.

Objective To explore the effect of music therapy on post-stroke depression (PSD) with left basal ganglia aphasia. Methods From April, 2013 to July, 2016, 60 patients with PSD and left basal ganglia aphasia were selected as control group (n=30) and research group (n=30). Both groups accepted routine medicine and rehabilitation, and the research group accepted music therapy in addition, for three months. They were assessed with modified Stroke Aphasic Depression Questionnaire Hospital Version (SADQ-H) and China Rehabilitation Research Center Aphasia Examination (CRRCAE) before and after treatment. Results The incidence of serious depression was less in the re-search group than in the control group after treatment, according to the score of SADQ-H (χ2=8.926, P<0.05). The research group improved more in listening comprehension, repetition and name scores than those of the control group (t>5.707, P<0.001). Conclusion Music therapy helps to relief depression and improve speech in patients with PSD and basal ganglia aphasia.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the significance of Epworth sleepiness scale(ESS)and modified Epworth sleepiness scale(MESS),and evaluate the feasibility of MESS in assessment of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).METHODS The ESS and MESS of 232 patients with OSAHS was recorded in their first visiting.The scores of ESS and MESS were analyzed with the parameters of polysomnography(PSG). RESULTS Both ESS and MESS can reflect the degree of sleepiness and anoxemia in OSAHS patients,but the MESS was more efficient than ESS.The difference of MESS score between normal group and severe OSAHS group was greater than that of ESS score.CONCLUSION MESS is concerned the living habit of Chinese,and can partly reflect the station of patient with OSAHS.MESS can also be a primary screening method for suspected patients with severe OSAHS.
