1.Influence of LTC_4 on the microcirculation of the gastric mucosa and its effect on acute gastric mucosal injury

The author explored the influence of exogenous LTC_4 (0.1 ng. 100g~(-1),iv) on the microcirculation of gastric mucosa and its effect on acute gestric mucosal injury. Male Wistar rats underwent a fast of 24 hours before the experiment and could drink water freely during this period. The results showed: 1. The caliber of the gastric mucosal superficial capillaries thinned and part of the capillaries disappeared. The caliber of collecting venule thinned also. After 10 minutes there were remarkable venous stasis and heamorrhage. 2. It was confirmed by the method of hydrogen clearence that the gastric mucosal flow reduced significantly. Objective To explore the characteristics of CT image and pathological changes of intrahepatic lymphatic stasis(ILS) caused by hepatic diseases.Methods Clinical data and CT images in contrast-enhanced arterial phase and portal venous phase in 36 cases with ILS saused by hepatic cancer,cirrhosis,hepatic metastatic tumors,hepatitis and hepatic contusion were analyzed retrospectively.The etiological mechanism of ILS was also discussed.Results On contrast-enhanced SCT scan,low-density line or annular line around the branches of hepatic vein,portal vein and/or intrahepatic inferior vena cava were found in all case,they presented as a kind of "halo sign" around the blood vessel.Conclusion The CT finding of ILS in hepatic diseases is quite characteristic and it is of great value in diagnosis of ILS.

5.Maternal and neonatal perinatal outcomes in pregnancies after in vitro fertilization and natural pregnancy: a systematic: a meta analysis

Objective To systematically evaluate maternal perinatal complications and neonatal outcomes after in vitro fertili zation and embryo transplantation(IVF-ET).Methods The computer retrieval was performed on the databases of PubMed,Cochrane library,EMbase,CNKI,Wanfang and Chinese biomedical literature database.The articles on the comparison between IVF and natural pregnancy were included.The RevMan5.3 software was adopted to conduct the meta analysis.Results Twenty-three articles conforming to the requirements were included,including 1 312 651 cases,among them 113 044 cases were IVF and 1 199 607 cases were naturalpregnancy.IVF mother's age was larger than that of natural pregnancy,while the gestational weeks were smaller than those of natural pregnancy,the newborn birth weight was lighter than that of natural pregnancy(P<0.05);the probability of pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH),placenta previa,postpartum hemorrhage and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) occurrence in IVF mother were higher than that of natural pregnancy (P<0.05);the rate of multiple and cesarean section in IVF mothers were higher than that of natural pregnancy (P<0.05);the occurrence rates of small for gestational age(SGA),low birth weight infants,stillbirth and premature in IVF were higher than those of natural pregnancy (P<0.05).Conclusion The maternal perinatal complications in IVF are higher than those of natural pregnancy,and the birth outcomes in IVF are worse than those of natural pregnancy.

Abstract: Mosquitoes are involved in the transmission of serious diseases such as malaria, dengue, chikungunya, yellow fever, Zika virus disease, and filariasis, and their prevention and control have always been a research hotspot. Currently, mosquito control methods mainly include physical control, chemical control and biological control. Physical control methods are environmentally friendly, but they are slow to take effect and have unsatisfactory control effects; although chemical control can quickly eliminate mosquitoes, it has been eliminated due to its high pollution, high residual, and easy drug resistance; biological control uses natural enemies or pathogens to kill mosquitoes and reduce their ability to transmit disease. Therefore, environmentally friendly biological control has become the main measure for controlling and preventing mosquitoes. In recent years, significant progress has been made in bacterial mosquito control agents, among which Bacillus thuringiensis has been the most extensively studied. Bacillus thuringiensis is a Gram-positive soil microorganism, which is the pathogenic bacterium of a variety of agricultural pests such as Lepidoptera, Coleoptera and Diptera. During the sporulation process, its strains produce a variety of insecticidal crystal proteins (ICPs) or δ-endotoxins with insecticidal activity against mosquito larvae. This review firstly introduces the crystal proteins of Bacillus thuringiensis, describes in detail the types and structures of crystal proteins in detail, and also reveals the mechanism of action of crystal proteins related to receptors.
7.Application of fresh amniotic membrane in microscopic adjustable suture surgery of intercommunity strabismus in childhood

AIM: To discuss the clinical efficacy of fresh amniotic membrane ( AM ) during the microscopic adjustable suture surgery in children's intercommunity strabismus, in order to guide clinical treatment.
METHODS: With the clinical randomized control study (RCT), 60 (112 eyes) cases of patients in childhood who received microscopic strabismus surgery in our hospital were divided them into two different groups from Jan. 2010 to Oct. 2015. According to the application of AM on the basis of ophthalmology outpatient number, 30 cases (58 eyes) in group A were treated with rectus muscle recession surgery combined adjustable suture combined with AM. The other 30 cases (54 eyes) in group B were treated with rectus muscle recession surgery combined adjustable suture only. All patients in two groups were followed-up over 6mo after the strabismus surgery.
RESULTS:Twenty-seven cases ( 48 eyes ) of all the strabismus patients must be adjusted after strabismus surgery, and the eye position adjustment rate was 42.9%. At 1mo after surgery, eye position of 18 cases (29 eyes) can be adjusted in all patients, and 44. 8% (16 cases, 26 eyes ) in group A with the average of adjustment lengths was 2. 56±0. 64mm, and 5. 6% ( 2 cases, 3 eyes ) in group B, with the average of adjustment lengths was 0. 52±0. 28mm, the differences of the adjustment rate and the average of adjustment amount were both high statistically significant (χ2 =22.477, P<0. 01; t=16. 502, P<0. 01 ) between the two groups. Except of 3 cases who couldn't cooperate with eye position adjustment, they all received eye position adjustment in different degrees in one month after strabismus surgery,and after eye position adjustment, 27 cases (53 eyes) in group A got normal eye position, and the correction rate of eye position was 91. 4%, and 16 cases (28 eyes) in group B got normal eye position after eye position adjustment, the correction rate was 51. 9%, the differences of the correction rate were statistically significant (χ2=21. 827, P<0. 01) between the two groups.
CONCLUSION: The application of fresh AM in the microscopic adjustable suture strabismus surgery is exactly effective in treatment of children's intercommunity strabismus. It can significantly extend the adjustment time and increase the adjustment amount, and it also can statistically improve the controllability and achievement ratio for children's strabismus surgery.
8.Study on separation and purification of total flavones from Smilax china by macroporous absorption resin.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the technological parameters of the purification process of total flavones from Smilax china with macroporous absorption resin.
METHODThe technical process for purification of total flavones with the optimum macroporous absorption resin was screened by yield of total flavones product.
RESULTThe D140 macroporous absorption resin had the best separating efficiency when the flavones content in the liquid was 0.5 g x mL(-1) equivalent to raw material, the volume of drug 18 BV (resin bad volume) with the adsorption-power 2 BV x h(-1), and the volume of 60% (mL x mL(-1)) ethanol as eluant 5-10 BV (resin bad volume) with desorption-power 1 BV x h(-1). The obtained flavones product has total flavones recovery rate of 84.72%.
CONCLUSIONThe treatment of regenerated resin is easy, this method is advisable.

9.In vitro biocompatibility of polyhydroxybutyrate-co-volerate membrane with human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells

BACKGROUND:Polyhydroxybutyrate-co-volerate (PHBV) is a noticeable tissue engineering material of polyhydroxyalkanoates family. It has the properties of low immune rejection response and good biocompatibility, and its degradation products are non-toxic.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the biocompatibility of PHBV membrane material and human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s in vitro.
METHODS:Human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s at passage 3 were seeded upon PHBV membrane as experimental group and upon conventional culture plates as control group. Then we calculated the adherent cel number of two groups at 1, 2 and 4 hours and got the cel adherent rate. 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazoliumbromide assay was used at days 2, 4, 6, 8 to observe the cel proliferation of two groups. Fluorimetric method with the fluorescent dye Hoechst 33258 was used to detect the DNA content of cel s at days 3, 6, 9 and 12 in both groups. After cel s were seeded upon PHBV membrane for 5 days, the cel growth upon the material was examined under a scanning electron microscope.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:When the cel s were cultured for 1 hour, the adherent rate in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group;but there were no significant differences between two groups at the other two periods. No difference was found in the cel proliferation and the DNA content between the two groups. Human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s seeded upon PHBV membrane for 5 days grew wel with spindle morphology and the intercel ular connections were tight and more extracel ular matrices were observed by scanning electron microscopy. Taken together, PHBV membrane material shows a good biocompatibility with human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s.
10.Studies on inhibitory effect of rapamycin on growth and metastasis of PC3 cells

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of rapamycin on the proliferation and cell cycle of prostate cancer cell lines PC3,and to investigate the mechanism that it inhibits the growth and metastasis of prostate cancer cells.MethodsPC3 cells were cultured in vitro,and treated with different concentrations (10,25ng/ml) of cycle raparnycine.MTT was used to measure the change of proliferation of PC3 cells.Flow cytometry was used to measure the changes of cell cycle and apoptosis of PC3 cells.Nude mice were used to detect the effect of rapamycin on metastasis.ResultsThe proliferation of PC3 cells was significantly inhibited by rapamycin,and a time- and concentration-dependent relationship was shown,the inhibited rate was(42.23 ± 0.78 ) % after 36 h in the group of 25 ng/ml ( P < 0.05 ).Flow cytometry analysis showed rapamycin significantly inhibited the cell cycle,prompted the apoptosis,and increased the number of cells in G0/G1 phase at 36 h with a rate of cell staying at Go/G1 [ (92.17 ± 0.69 ) % ] ( P < 0.05 ).The weight of tumors in nude mice in the control group was significantly greater than that in RPM group[ (3.41± 0.28)g vs ( 1.19 ± 0.23 )g] ( P< 0.05 ),and metastatic sites of the lung and liver in the control group were significantly mote than the RPM group [ 100% (7/7) vs 14.29% ( 1/7 ) ] ( P < 0.05 ).Conclusions Rapamycin significantly inhibits the proliferation and metastasis of osteosarcoma.The rapamycin-based regimen is valuable for clinical application.
