1.Research and Discussion of the Academic Thoughts of the Phlegm Disease Diagnosis and Treatment in TCM during the Song、Jin、Yuan Dynasties
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(02):-
During the Song、Jin、Yuan dynasties, great progress had been made on the theoretical and clinical aspects of phlegm disease diagnosis and treatment in TCM accompanied with the vigor and prosperity of the TCM learning. It mainly showed that:rich diagnostic and treating experience had been accumulated and summarized to serve as a legacy based on the theoretical innovation of the clinical practice. ZHU Dan-xi、WANG Gui made epoch-making academic achievements on the aspect of the phlegm disease diagnosis and treatment. YANG Shi-ying、SHI Zai-zhi、YAN Yong-he also had made their own contributions. Besides, the medical formularies of the Song、Jin、Yuan dynasties had special summary and discussion to the all kinds of prescriptions for treating the phlegm. A fair number of those prescriptions were used until now for their effects.

Objective To determine the factors influencing the survival rate and then quantifying the indication in digital replantation. Methods From January 1999 to November 2002,1 231 digit replantations were reviewed retrospectively.Analysis of Logistic regression was carried out between survival rate and injury degree of artery, skin, tendon, bone and nerve, mechanism of injury, severed levels, repassing duration and haemoglobin levels. Records of 50 failed and 50 succeeded fingers were selected at random and discriminant equation was made according to the factor selected by Logistic regression. Results The factors of injury degree of artery and skin, mechanism of injury, severed levedls and haemoglobin levels affected the survival rate significantly. The discriminant equation was that Z=6.42X 1+5.31X 1+4.35X 3+3.26X 4+3.15X 5. Conclusions The five factors mentioned above affect the survival rate of digital replantation. The indication of digital replantation could be quantified with the discriminant equation.

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and risk factors of bacterial liver abscess (BLA) complicated with septicemia. Methods Fifty two BLA patients complicated with septicemia admitted in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2015 were retrospectively reviewed;and 52 cases of BLA without septicemia admitted at the same period were randomly selected as control group. The clinical manifestations, laboratory and radiographic findings, clinical outcome of these patients were analyzed.Logistic regression analysis was used to study the clinical features and risk factors of BLA complicated with septicemia. Results Compared to the control group, the BLA with septicemia group had higher prevalence rates in diabetes mellitus, malignant tumors, jaundice, albumin <35 g/L, BUN≥8.2 mmol/L, hyperglycemia, multiple abscesses and abscesses size ≥10 cm(P<0.05 or <0.01).The blood culture showed that K.pneumoniae(63.3%) was the most commonly isolated pathogen, followed by E.coli(16.7%).Univariate analysis revealed that diabetes mellitus(OR=2.200,95%CI 1.042-4.646), malignant tumors (OR=3.667,95%CI 1.023-13.143), albumin <35 g/ L(OR=2.800,95%CI 1.009-7.774), BUN≥8.2 mmol/L(OR=3.167,95%CI 1.265-7.929), hyperglycemia(OR=3.400,95%CI 1.254-9.216), multiple abscesses(OR=2.667,95%CI 1.043-6.815), abscesses size≥10 cm (OR=5.000,95%CI 1.096-22.820) were positively associated with bacterial liver abscess complicated with septicemia.Multivariate Logistic regression showed that abscesses size≥10 cm (OR=14.016,95%CI 1.354-145.070) was an independent risk factor for complication of with septicemia. Conclusion septicemia is a common complication for bacterial liver abscess, clinically effective measures shauld be taken to prevent and control risk factors associated with septicemia.
4.On the Medical Justice View based on People’s Health
Chinese Medical Ethics 2024;35(5):562-567
Medical justice is the concrete embodiment of social equity and justice in the field of medical care. The socialist system is a strong guarantee to solve the problem of medical justice. Basic medical service, which "guaranteed by the government, fairly obtained by all the people", is an inevitable requirement of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics in the new era. The development of health and wellness in the new era should establish the core value concept of "taking people’s health as the center", take the "great health concept" as the guide, construct the medical justice concept based on people’s health, so as to provide a solid ideological guarantee for comprehensively promoting the construction of Healthy China, and then contribute to the Chinese model and Chinese scheme for global health governance. The main contents of medical justice based on people’s health should include fair medical treatment, accessible medical treatment and public welfare medical treatment. Its implementation path are: promoting the equalization of basic public medical services in urban and rural areas, continuously pressing forward the fairness of medical resource allocation; giving priority to people’s health and ensuring the justice of medical management system; coordinating the imbalance between doctors and patients effectively, and effectively promote the harmonious relationship between doctors and patients.
