Programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) inhibitor therapy for lung adenocarcinoma may induce rare but severe hematologic adverse events, including severe anemia. Although glucocorticoids are recommended for managing immune-related adverse events, therapeutic experience with PD-1 inhibitor-induced severe anemia remains limited, and its efficacy and safety have not been fully validated. This article reports a case of advanced lung adenocarcinoma in which severe anemia developed following combination therapy with chemotherapy and PD-1 inhibitor. After comprehensive evaluation, the patient was diagnosed with anemia of inflammation (AI) and achieved significant hemoglobin recovery following high-dose glucocorticoid treatment. These findings may provide new insights into the recognition and management of this rare hematologic toxicity in clinical practice.

This paper systematically summarizes the practical experience of the 2025 Dingri earthquake emergency medical rescue in Tibet. It analyzes the requirements for earthquake medical rescue under conditions of high-altitude hypoxia, low temperature, and low air pressure. The paper provides a detailed discussion on the strategic layout of earthquake medical rescue at the national level, local government level, and through social participation. It covers the construction of rescue organizational systems, technical systems, material support systems, and information systems. The importance of building rescue teams is emphasized. In high-altitude and cold conditions, rapid response, scientific decision-making, and multi-party collaboration are identified as key elements to enhance rescue efficiency. By optimizing rescue organizational structures, strengthening the development of new equipment, and promoting telemedicine technologies, the precision and effectiveness of medical rescue can be significantly improved, providing important references for future similar disaster rescues.

OBJECTIVE To construct a clinical model of motion sickness(MS),provide a relatively objective diagnostic model for MS research,and provide a basis for further clinical intervention of the disease.METHODS A total of 60 subjects were included and divided into experimental group and control group according to the presence or absence of MS.The MS clinical model was established using SRM-IV rotating chair.Peripheral blood was collected before and after acceleration exposure,and the contents of adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH),growth hormone(GH),prolactin(PRL),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),thyroid stimulating hormone(TRH)and gastrin-17(G-17),acetylcholine(ACH)and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)were detected,Graybiel scale was used to evaluate the severity of MS.The correlation between MS symptoms and signs and peripheral blood indexes was analyzed by multiple linear regression,and the diagnostic model was established.construct a clinical model of MS and a diagnostic model based on blood parameters,so as to provide a reliable clinical model and an objective diagnostic model for MS research,and to provide a basis for further clinical intervention of the disease.RESULTS After acceleration exposure,the Graybiel scores,ACH,5-HT,ACTH,GH and PRL levels in peripheral blood of the experimental group were higher than those before exposure,and were significantly different from those of the control group(P<0.001).There was no significant difference in FSH,LH,TRH and G-17 between the two groups before and after acceleration exposure(P>0.05).Multi-index combined diagnostic model:Graybiel scores=-9.32+0.131×ACTH+0.055×ACH+0.041×5-HT.CONCLUSION The levels of ACH,5-HT,ACTH,GH and PRL increased during the onset of MS.The multi-index combined diagnosis model can provide a certain basis for the objective diagnosis of MS in clinical practice.

This article reviews the role of HIF-1α in IBD by analyzing the relationships between HIF-1α and intestinal epithelial barrier and inflammatory response to provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of IBD.

Objective To explore whether the pattern of dysphagia verified using videofluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS) was associated with the Iocation of the infarction in stroke patients.Methods Ninety-two patients with dysphagia (admitted between January 2015 and August 2016) who had first onset of cerebral infarction confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging were included in this study.They were divided into a unilateral brainstem group (n =29),a left hemisphere (cortex + white matter) group (n =37) and a right hemisphere (cortex + white matter) group (n=26) according to the location of the stroke.All subjects were evaluated using VFSS,and the oral transit time (OTT),triggering of pharyngeal swallowing (TPS),presence of residue in the vallecular and pyriform sinus,penetration,aspiration,cough reaction and upper esophageal sphincter (UES) opening were recorded and compared among the three groups.Results There were no significant differences among the three groups in OTT (X2 =0.712,P=0.918),TPS (1.564,P =0.458),penetration (X2 =5.615,P=0.060) and cough reaction (X2 =5.882,P=0.053).The unilateral brainstem group had significantly more residue in the vallecular and pyriform sinus than the left hemisphere group (X2=6.508,P=0.011).Aspiration was significantly more frequently found in the unilateral brainstem group than in the left hemisphere group (X2=7.803,P =0.005).The unilateral brainstem group was more likely to have insufficient UES opening than the left hemisphere (X2=29.555,P＜0.001) and right hemisphere groups (X2=24.630,P＜0.001).Conclusions Unilateral brainstem stroke is more likely to cause dysphagia than the unilateral cerebral hemisphere stroke,characterized by the abnormal residue in the vallecular and pyriform sinus,aspiration and the degree of UES opening.No significant differences were found in the dysphagia between stroke survivors with stroke in right and left hemispheres.

Objective To evaluate the absolute quantification of brain metabolites concentrations using external standard MRS in acute hypoxia ischemia encephalopathy (HIE) piglet model. Method Eight 7-day-old healthy piglets were subjected to insult of hypoxia ischemia (HI). The animals and an external standard phantom containing detectable metabolites of known concentrations were studied on a 1.5 T GE Signa scanner. The single-voxel proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS) data were processed using LCModel software, and the quantification of N-acetylaspartate ( NAA), creatine (Cr) and lactate (Lac) were accomplished. Multivariate analysis of variance was performed to compare the NAA, Cr, Lac concentration differences in the brains of piglets pre- and post-HI (0h). In addition, the dynamic changes of brain metabolites concentrations of 2 HIE piglets were observed at the time points of 0 h and 2 h. Results One piglet was excluded because it was over anesthetized to death. Seven piglets' data were analyzed. The concentrations of NAA pre- and post-HI were ( 6. 86 ± 0. 49 ) mmol/kg and ( 5.73 ± 0. 88 ) mmol/kg respectively, they were ( 4. 65 ± 0. 73 ) mmol/kg and ( 4. 40 ± 0. 80 ) mmol/kg for Cr; and were 0. 00 mmol/kg and (0. 43 ± 0. 39) mmol/kg for Lac. After HI, decreased NAA concentration immediately was observed, and it was of statistical significance ( F = 8. 608, P = 0. 013 ). The concentration of Cr was insignificantly decreased ( F = 0. 379, P = 0. 550). The concentration of Lac was increased, and the difference was of statistical significance ( F = 8. 600 ,P = 0. 013 ). Dynamic observation showed a Lac peak immediately after HI and it decreased after 2 h post-HI. Conclusions External standard MRS using LCModel has great value in the quantitative analysis of brain metabolites. The changes of NAA and Lac concentrations are sensitive to reflect the early metabolic change of acute HIE.
