Objective To compare Th1/Th2 drift situation in patients with lymphoma with that in patients with solid tumors, and establish the effective immune function detectable criterion of lymphoma in biological treatment process. Methods The whole blood samples of 10 patients with lymphoma, 202 patients with solid tumors including 36 patients with upper digestive tract cancer, 64 colorectal cancer, 43 lung cancer and 20 the other malignancies, and 30 healthy persons as controls were collected. Stimulation agent was used to stimulate the cells in order to increase cell factor expression and fluorescent labeled specific anti-cytokine monoclonal antibody was used to bind with specific antigen. The expression of specific cytokines was detected by flow cytometry. Results Positive percentages of IFN- γ and IL-4 and ratio of IFN- γ /IL-4 in CD+4 T cells of human peripheral blood had statistically differences between in patients with lymphoma and controls (P < 0.05). The ratio of Thl/Th2 (CD+4 intracellular cytokine INF-α/IL-4) in patients with lymphoma was lower than that in patients with upper digestive tract cancers (esophagus and stomach cancers) (P = 0.023), however, had no statistical differences with that in patients with other solid tumors (colorectal, lung, kidney, breast and other tumors), but had a downward trend. Conclusion Immune functions in patients with lymphoma are lower than those in patients with solid tumors and immune treatment is a necessary to adjuvant chemotherapy. The ratio of Th1/Th2 (INF- α/IL-4) is expected to become effective detection criterion.

Objective To evaluate the effects of Burch-Schneider(BS) acetabular reinforcement ring applied in primary or revision total hip arthroplasties in 9 patients with combined or cavitary acetabular bone defects. Methods A retrospective follow up that averaged 3.8 years was performed with a special scoring system comprising the patients symptoms, signs and function. Results The excellent and good function were achieved in 89% of all cases. Conclusion 1)BS reinforcement ring could be effectively and reliably applied in primary or revision total hip arthroplasty or in patients with severe acetabular bone defects. 2)BS reinforcement ring shows the biological fixation feature, so as to provide good foundation for long-term satisfactory function of hip. 3)The lower ear of BS ring need not to be fixed to ischium with screws as usual, but be inserted in obturator foramen above transverse ligament, thus imparting some elastic resilience to it. 4)The upper ear should be folded through such a curve that its curvature was in compliance with that of ilium, which would be better performed in one session. 5)The appropriate amount of 0.8 cm?0.8 cm?0.8 cm morcellized allografting bone was used to snugly fill the space, which would be conducive to desirable incorporation between prosthesis and bone, and the authors propose that the patients should be allowed weight-bearing earlier.

Objective Inquire a method to treat, interfere and control the conditions of MS sufferers. Methods Discover MS sufferers through the healthy management center check-up.Divide them into the intervention set and matched control random.Synthesize an intervention towards interfering set to carry on valuation, change life style, the medicine treatment Two years later statistics to analyze index signs, such as two sets of dangerous factor, blood sugar fat, weight index numbers and blood pressure...etc.Result The management rate of the interfering set is 94.24%.After interfering, the Treatment rate, the understanding rate, the controlling rate have been increased by 53.56%,55.07%and 69.93%.The empty stomach blood sugar, the blood glycerin three esters, the total cholesterols, the weight index numbers, systolic pressure and diastolic pressure have obviously improved compared with those before interfering(P

Objective To investigate the effect of Gout Gra nule(GG)for gout. Methods Gout -relieving effect of GG was observed in rats with adjuvant arthritis induced by sodium urate and i n mice with hyperuricemia induced by hypoxan-thine.Anti -inflammation of GG was i nvestigated in mice with xylene -ind uced auricular swelling and in rats with edema of hind paw induced by injection of carrageenin.WBC migratory response c aused by carboxymethylcellulose(CMC)in mice was also observed. Results GG could reduce the blood level of uric acid and inhibit acute inflammatio n in model ani-mals and also tended to promote the elimination of uric acid. Conclusion GG had a remarkable effect on the acut e attack of gout.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the morphological characteristics of the bridge tendon grafting in no man's land to reconstruct the tendon defect and the effect of passive mobilization on it. METHODS: A 2 cm defect was made in bilateral flexor digitorum profundus tendons of the middle chicken toes, and was then transplanted to the opposite site to serve as a segmental autograft tendon. Postoperatively, passive mobilization of the left and right middle toes began at 5 and 21 d separately. Specimens were studied by light, scanning and transmission electron microscopy at 5, 10, 21 and 35 d. RESULTS: Early repair of the tendon-graft of the left middle toes was made by proliferation and ingrowth of the epitenon cells intermingled with newly-formed collagen fibers. A gliding surface formed at 10 and 21 d. The tendon graft itself played an active role in the repair. In contrast, adhesions obliterated the surface and occupied the space between the tendon graft and surrounding tissues in the right middle toes. CONCLUSIONS: It indicates that the use of the segmental bridge tendon graft in no man's land coupled with early passive motion stimulates an intrisic repair process in both the tendon stump and the autogenous tendon graft and results in a functional healing.

Objective To observe the clinical characteristics of 2 patients with mucolipidosis type Ⅲ. Methods Two sibling patients (a sister and a brother) with mucolipidosis type Ⅲ symptoms and other family members were the research objects, and the changes of their features of hand bone imaging, blood indexes [blood glucose, cholesterol, triacylglycerol (TG), total protein (TP), albumin (Alb)] and body composition were analyzed. Results Except the 2 patients, the bone morphology, blood indexes and body compositions in other 7 family members were under normal conditions. The phalanx intervals of both hands in 2 patients with mucolipidosis type Ⅲwere widened significantly, among them the thumb manifestation was more obvious; the distal segments of phalanxes in both hands became pointed and curved presenting a "claw-like hand" deformity; the metacarpal and distal carpal metaphysis were obviously enlarged, and scaphoid, lunate, trianglar, orbicular, and trapezium and trapezoid bones were loosely arranged at the wrist; the distal ends of ulna and radius were markedly enlarged. Compared to healthy people, the triglyceride levels of serum in the 2 patients were obviously reduced (the percentage of reduction: 57.14% and 41.07% respectively); body mass indexes (BMI), total fat and visceral fat were significantly lowered (BMI reduction percentage:26.81% and 14.55%, total fat reduction percentage: 38.12% and 44.95%, visceral fat reduction percentage: 62.25% and 67.74%, respectively) in the two patients. Conclusion The purpose of studying the biochemistry indexes, imaging characteristics and body compositions is to more deeply understand the clinical symptoms and signs of the 2 sibling patients with mucolipidosis type Ⅲ in a family to provide a theoretical reference.
