1.Analysis of the antibiotic resistance of clinically isolated Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(10):-
70%). Imipenem was of the strongest activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa with the susceptibility of 86.3% but cefetaxime and ceftriaxone were of the weakest with the susceptibility of 6.8% and 11.0%, respectively. Conclusion The clinically isolated drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains are increasing year by year. Therefore, clinical doctors should choose antibiotics rationally in dealing with the P. aeruginosa infected patients according to drug resistance test.

Objective To study the effect of the magnetic field-treated water on metabolism of monoaminergic nerve transmitters in mice. Methods Twenty healthy aged Kunming mice were divided into a control group and an experimental group randomly. The mice in the control group were given tap-water and those in the experimental group magnetic field-treated water for 30 days. The content of monoaminergic nerve transmitters in brain of mice in the two groups were determined. Results A significant difference was found in the content of monoaminergic nerve transmitters between the control and the experimental groups. The contents of NE, DA, 5-HT and 5-HIAA increased significantly(P

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2011;27(8):589-591
According to the related requirements of medical technology clinical application management, the specific implementation approaches of surgery physicians surgery permission management were made, including establishing surgery classification project directory library, developing surgery classification management system and the surgery permission declared, and audit program, and investigating to determine the steps of surgery permission owned by surgery physicians currently, and finding problems and solution measures in implementation surgery permission management. To prevent surgical risk, improve the quality of operation, and evaluate surgical doctors scientifically, it provides management experience and references.

Objective To evaluate the effects of penehyclidine hydrochloride (PHC) on the expression of Toll like receptor-4 (TLR4) and nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κcB) in a rat model of sepsis-induced acute lung injury (ALI).Methods Seventy-two adult male Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 180-220 g,were randomly divided into 3 groups (n =24 each) using a random number table:shame operation group (group S),ALI group and PHC group.Sepsis-induced ALl was induced by cecal ligation and puncture in anesthetized rats.In group PHC,PHC 0.45 mg/kg was intramuscularly injected immediately after cecal ligation and puncture. At 6,12,24 and 36 h after ligation, the broncho-alveolar lavage fluid (BALF) was collected for detection of TNF-α and IL-6 concentrations and the lungs were removed for determination of the expression of TLR4 (using RT-PCR and Western blot) and NF-κBp65 (using Western blot) in lung tissues and for microscopic examination. The pathological changes of lungs were scored. The wet to dry lung weight (W/D) ratio was calculated and the activity of myeloperoxidase (MPO) in lung tissues was measured. Results As compared with S group, the IL-6 concentrations in BALF at 6,12 and 24 h after ligation,TNF-α concentration in BALF at 6 and 12 h after ligation, and the expression of TLR4 and NF-κBp65,pathological scores,W/D ratio and MPO activity at each time point were significantly increased in ALI group (P < 0.05).Compared with ALI group, the TNF-α concentration in BALF at 6 and 12 h after ligation, and IL-6 concentrations in BALF,the expression of TLR4 and NF-κBp65,pathological scores,W/D ratio and MPO activity at each time point were significantly decreased in group PHC (P < 0.05).Conclusion PHC inhibits NF-κB activation and decreases inflammatory responses through blocking TLR4 expression in lung tissues, thus attenuating sepsis-induced ALI in rats.

Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2014;33(1):7-10
Objective To explore the factors affecting urinary arsenic methylated metabolites in population exposed to elevated arsenic through drinking water. Methods Residents, including 73 males and 72 females,in a endemic village located in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region where the concentration of arsenic in drinking water was 0.167 mg/L,were included in the study; moming urine samples were collected; individual height and weight were measured which could be used to calculate body mass index(BM庆) ; and smoking and drinking habit was investigated by a questionnaire survey.Urinary concentrations of inorganic arsenic (iAs),monomethylarsenic acid(MMA) and dimethylarsenic acid(DMA) were determined using high performance liquid chromatography hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HPLC-HG-AFC).Total arsenic (T-As) level was calculated by the sum of iAs,MMA and DMA; iAs%,MMA% and DMA% was calculated based on iAs/T-As,MMA/T-As and DMA/T-As.One methylation ratio(PMI) and dimethyl rate(SMI) were calculated by MMA/iAs and DMA/MMA.Results SMI level of female was significantly higher than that of male [median (M) =4.18,3.38,x2 =11.219,P < 0.05] ; MMA% of female was significantly lower than that of male(M =15.1 9,18.06,x2 =9.272,P < 0.05) ; DMA% of female was significantly higher than that of male (M =65.61,59.47,x2 =11.728,P < 0.05).Various forms of arsenic indexes were not affected by smoking, alcohol consumption and BMI(P > 0.05).BMI was negatively correlated with MMA%,with correlation coefficient (r)-0.17 (P < 0.05).Conclusions Under the same condition of arsenic exposure, arsenic methylation capacity of women is higher than that of men.Lower BMI is significantly associated with higher methylation capability of arsenic, but this correlation may be affected by other confounding factors.

With the goal of practice teaching for laboratory medicine students, we focus on culti-vating students' clinical thinking and scientific thinking through setting up reasonable teaching task and designing the scientific graduation thesis, and try to develop a novel practice teaching mode for laboratory medicine students. Therefore, we do exploration and practice in the following aspects: orientation training, clinical practice, medical ethics education, clinical communication ability, and scientific research design, hoping to improve students' research thinking ability and innovation ability. Through actual operation and graduation thesis writing, we try to help students to establish and improve their clinical thinking ability and innovation ability.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 1991;0(02):-
Objective:To investigate the prevalence of Cluster-B personality disorders in university students. Methods: 1. Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire (PDQ+4) was administered to a sample which consisted of 3140 university students to screen personality disorder subjects. Cluster-B personality disorder subjects were finally diagnosed by conducting bland semi structured interview using Personality Disorder Interview-IV (PDI-IV) four to six weeks after the first administration. Results: The total prevalence of Cluster-B personality disorders among 3140 subjects of university students was 1.21% with 38 subjects met the diagnostic criteria of Cluster-B personality disorders. One female subject met the criteria of Antisocial Personality Disorder (APD), 21 Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), 20 Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), and 8 Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD). The prevalence of BPD, NPD and HPD were 0.67%, 0.64% and 0.25% respectively. Ten subjects met the criteria of more than one personality disorder; the comorbidity rate was 26.3%. Conclusion: The prevalence of Cluster-B personality disorder in university students is lower than in general population reported by foreign researchers.
