Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(09):-
Snake compound (SC)consisted of the alcoholic extract of Zaocys dhumnades,Agkistrodon halys(Pallas)compounded with Chinese herbs: Astragalus membranaceus Bge. var. mongholicus (Bge.) Hsiao, Angelica sinensis (Oliv) Diels, Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch, Paris pollyphylla Sm. var. yunancnsis, Epimedium brevicornum Maxim and Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.. Acute toxicity test showed that the maximum tolerant oral dose for mice was 120mg/kg, 1091 times higher than the dose used in clinic for patients. Analgesic and anti-inflammatory studies showed that the times of writhe induced by abdominal administration of acetic acid were decreased significantly and the pain thre shold of electrical stimuli was increased markedly by SC in mice. The analgesic effects were dose-dependent. Inflammatory swelling in digiti pedis of rats induced by carrageenin and swelling of ear in mice were alleviated dramatically by SC.SC showed good effects in the treatment of winddampness syndrome and anthralgia syndrome in clinic.

5.How to Contain Hospital's Indifference towards Patients in Mortal Danger
Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(04):-
Recently the cases that doctors or hospitals show indifferently or unconcerned towards patients in mortal danger occur repeatedly, which can not be contained simply by moral condemnation and restraint.Considering its social hazards and correlated ancient and modern legislations,it is a direct and effective way to criminalize this immoral behavior. However, doctors' or hospitals' indifference towards patients in mortal danger is not an isolated issue, but closely correlated with other social contradictions and conflicts. Therefore,a fine social assistance system of medical service is still in great need so as to comprehensively solve this problem.
6.Effect of ramipril on ischemia-reperfusion induced apoptosis of cardiomyocyte and expression of apoptosis-related genes
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
Aim To observe the effect of ramipril on ischemia-reperfusion induced apoptosis of cardiomyocytes and expression of apoptosis-related genes.Method Male Wistar rats were subjected to 30 min of myocardial ischemia and 120 min of reperfusion.Rats were randomized to receive vehicle or ramipril(1 mg?kg~(-1)) orally 24 h before surgery.Myocardial infarct size was measured using the staining agent 2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride(TTC).Cardiomyocyte apoptosis was assessed using terminal deoxyribonucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling(TUNEL) assay and confirmed with detection of DNA ladder formation. The expression of antiapoptotic gene(Bcl-2) and proapoptotic gene(Bax) was determined by immunohistochemistry. Results At the end of reperfusion, infarct size was reduced by ramipril.TUNEL assay and DNA-laddering study demonstrated that cardiomyocyte apoptosis was attenuated in ramipril-treated hearts, correlating with increased expression of Bcl-2 and ratio of Bcl-2/Bax.Conclusion Ramipril exerts cardioprotection by decreasing the ischemia-reperfusion induced necrosis and apoptosis of cardiomyocyte and increasing the expression of Bcl-2 and ratio of Bcl-2/Bax.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2014;(4):1-4
Objective To explore the correlations between emotions and self-concept in patients with traumatic brain injury. Method The Chinese version of the Positive and Negative Affect Scale and the Tennessee Self-Concept Scale was used to test 178 patients with traumatic brain injury. Results The mean scores on positive and negative emotions were (1.93±0.53) and (2.76±0.61), respectively. The mean score on self-concept was (2.45±0.31). The positive emotions of patients were positively correlated with the level of self-concept and the negative emotions negatively with the level of self-concept (r=0.437and -0.363respectively,bothP<0.01). Conclusions For patients with traumatic brain injury, the negative emotions outnumber the positive emotions and their self-concept was at lower level. Nurses should take measures to improve their positive emotions and reduce their negative emotions in order to improve their self-concept level.

Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(18):-
Objective To study some biological properties of mouse bone marrow stromal cells(MSCs)and their ability to differentiate endothelial cells and surviving ability in ischemic tissue, and provide an experimental foundation for applying MSCs to ischemic repair. Methods After the tibias and femurs were dissected from 5-to 6-week-old mice from Jan.2005 to Nov.2005,the marrow was flushed out with ice-cold DMEM/F12 medium. The mononuclear cells of the marrow were obtained with density gradient centrifugation and the plated and cultured in DMEM/F12 medium. The cultured cells in vitro were induced with endothelial cell growth supplement. The ability of MSCs was also was examined in ischemic tissue. Results The adherent fibroblast-shaped cells approached confluence in single layer 12~16 d after plating. The cultured MSCs in vitro differentiated into endothelium.Numerous scattered DAPI-labeled cells were found in the specimen seven days after implantation, and hematoxylin and eosin staining of the adjacent section showed concordance between dense hematoxylin staining and presence of DAPI epifluorescence, and there was no obvious inflammatory response. Conclusion The subcultured MSCs possess potential to differentiate into endothelial cells.MSCs show stable growth in vitro, easy survival in the subculture and rapid proliferation in present culture condition.MSCs may be used in therapy for myocardium ischemia.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1996;0(09):-
Objective: To evaluate the effects of lotensin on sympathetic responses following cervical plexus block and to explore the mechanism of cardiovascular responses and sympathetic nervous system activity according to plasma catecholamine concentration. Method: Sixty adult patients were randomly divided into two groups (n = 30):Group A and group B. In group B lotensin 0.15mg/kg was taken orally at night before surgery and 2h before anesthesia separately. Hemodynamics was determined before anesthesia(T_1), 5min(T_2), 10min(T_3), 15-20min(T_4)and 30min (T_5) after cervical plexus block. For measurement of plasma catecholamine concentration, blood was collected at T_1,T_3,T_4 and T_5. The study was finished before beginning of surgery and infusion. Result: In group A after anesthesia SP,DP, MAP,HR,RPP and plasma noradrenalinc level rose markedly(P0.05). All parameters were lower in group B compared with group A(P
