Objective To observe the effect and safety of the compound glycyrrhizin combined recombinant human epidermal growth factor in treatment of eczema. Methods 120 eczema patients were selected randomly divided into the treatment group (n=60) and the control group (n=60) ,the treatment group intravenously given compound glycyrrhizin once a day, 60ml combined recombinant human epidermal growth factor analgesic spray, three times a day. The control group were given intravenously compound glycyrrhizin,once a day ,60ml. Two groups of patients were continuous treatment after a month observation curative effect and adverse reaction. Results The effective rate in the treatment group(91. 67%) was higher than the control group(71.67%) ,there was significant difference(x2=6.43,P＜0.05). Compared with control group, VAS of the treatment group was significantly reduced, there is significant difference (P＜0.05). In the same group,within one month after treatment,before treatment and after treatment compared also has difference, there are significant difference (P＜0.05). The two groups had no serious adverse reactions. Conclusion Effect of compound glycyrrhizin combined recombinant human epidermal growth factor in treatment of eczema curative was distinct,which was worth extending.

Objective To investigate effects of sinusitis mixture on functional endoscopic sinus after surgery .Methods According random number table,36 cases of chronic nasosinusitis patients were divided into the treatment group and control group,the two groups were routinely 2%NaCl saline nasal irrigation,use of nasal corticosteroids and mucous discharging agent mixture used in postoperative patients with sinusitis in the treatment group oral therapy. Results The treatment group 100%,total efficiency in the control group (89%) (χ2 =4.36,P<0.05),there was a statistically significant difference.Conclusion Sinusitis mixture has significant efficacy on the recovery of patients afterfunctional endoscopic sinus surgery.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a turbidimetric method for the determination of the potency of the crude drugs and tablets of oxytetracycline. METHODS: By turbidimetric method in which Staphylococcus aureus was used as the test organism with biomass concentration of 1.0%～1.5% (V/V). The culture temperature was 37 ℃ and the culture time was about 4 h. The method was compared with the cup-plate method in potency. RESULTS: The linear range of oxytetracycline was 0.05～0.4 IU?mL-1. The average recovery of the crude drug of oxytetracycline was 99.59% (RSD=2.0%) and that of oxytetracycline tablets was 99.51% (RSD=1.91%), showing no significant difference as compared with the cup-plate method in contents. CONCLUSIONS: The method was sensitive and rapid yet with few influencing factors thus applicable for the determination of the potencies of oxytetracycline and its tablets.

OBJECTIVE:To determine the titer of main component in kitasamycin tablets and acetylkitasamycin dry suspension.METHODS:Staphylococcus aureus was used as test organism and which were cultured at (37?0.5) ℃ for about 4～5 hours by adding 1.0%～1.5% kitasamycin and 2.0%～2.5% acetylkitasamycin,then the absorbance was determined at a wavelength of 530 nm.RESULTS:The linear range of kitasamycin was 0.5～4.0 IU?mL-1 and that of acetylkitasamycin was 0.45～6.3 IU?mL-1,and their recovery rates were 101.7%(RSD=1.9%,n=9) and 101.1%(RSD=2.1%,n=9),respectively.CONCLUSION:The established turbidimetry is sensitive,rapid yet with few influencing factors,thus it is applicable for the titer determination of main component in kitasamycin tablets and acetylkitasamycin dry suspension.

OBJECTIVE: To develop a rapid, accurate and sensitive method for the determination of nifedipine, nitrendipine and nimodipine which were added into traditional patent medicine illegally. METHODS: The LC-MS method was used to detect the extractive of Chinese patent medicine for antihypertension in respects of relative molecular mass, tandem mass spectrometry fragment, retention time, UV spectrum. The compounds added into the Chinese patent medicine were identified by comparing with standard sample in terms of spectrum, chromatographic and mass spectrometric behavior. RESULTS: According to four aspects of determination, nifedipine, nitrendipine and nimodipine were found in three kinds of Chinese patent medicine for antihypertension. CONCLUSION: The method is selective and sensitive for the detection of nifedipine, nitrendipine and nimodipine which were added into traditional patent medicine illegally.

Objective To compare clinical efficacy of clobetasol propionate ointment and vitamin A acid cream in the treatment of skin papule type amyloidosis.Methods 100 cases of skin papule type amyloidosis were randomly divided into the observation group and control group,each had 50 patients.The control group was treated with Vitamin A acid cream while the observation group used clobetasol propionate ointment for treatment.Skin lesion area,infiltration,skin color,skin itching score as well as the cure rate and efficiency were compared after 4 weeks of treatment.Results The two groups' symptoms was improved,symptom scores was decreased gradually after treatment than before,the observation group's symptom scores at 1,2,3,4 weeks were (9.35 ± 1.88),(6.54 ±2.16),(4.08 ±1.32),(2.04 ± 0.95) points which was significant better than (10.86 ± 2.08),(7.98 ± 2.57),(6.25 ± 1.44),(4.56 ± 1.18) points of the control group,the difference of two groups was statistically significant (t =6.22,6.71,7.30,7.41,all P ＜ 0.05) ;4 weeks after treatment,the observation group's efficience and cure rates were 94％ and 34％,significantly higher than 70％ and 22％ of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (x2 =9.040,8.391,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Clobetasol propionate ointment has a exact effect in treatment of skinpapule type amyloidosis than vitamin A acid cream,which is worthy of clinical application.

BACKGROUND: Critical closing pressure (CCP) is recently thought to play a key role in cerebral blood flow autoregulation as an effective downstream pressure of cerebral circulation and can objectively reflect the cerebrovascular tone, namely the vascular smooth muscle contraction and diastole, which is subjected to dynamic modulation.OBJECTIVE: To dynamically assess the hypertension-induced damage of the contraction function of cerebral microvascular smooth muscles and its correlation with morphological changes based on CCP evaluation.DESIGN: Randomized controlled experiment.SETTING: Institute of Neural Science of Second Hospital Affiliated to Guangzhou Medical College and Department of Neurology, First Hospital Affiliated to Sun Yet-san University.MATERIALS: The experiment was carried out at the Laboratory of Physiological Science of Sun Yet-san University between July 2002 and August 2003. Totally 160 health male SD rats were randomized into control group and hypertension group with 80 rats in each group. METHODS: Stroke-prone renovas cular hyp ortonsive rats were established in rats of the hypertension group by bilateral renal artery occlusion with two clips. The rats in the control group were not subjected to the occlusion with other treatments identical to those of the hypertension group. At the time points of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 weeks after operation, respectively, 10 rats were randomly selected from each of the two groups for determination of arterial pressure and CCP. After the measurements the frontal-parietal lobe was obtained from the anaesthetized rats and cut into slices for quantitative analysis of the morphological changes in cerebral microvessels.different postoperative time points.mean arterial pressure in hypertension group obviously increased from the 6th postoperative week with significant difference from that of the control after operation to a level significantly higher than that of the control group at postoperative 14 and 16 weeks [(63.75±7.43) vs (37.28±3.68) mm Hg and (67.37±15.57) vs (38.39t7.41) mm Hg, respectively, P ＜ 0.05].significance from that of the control group at the 8th postoperative week (Paverage arterial pressure and cerebral arteriole tunica media (r=0.906 93,0.811 36, respectively, P ＜ 0.05). The changes in CCP was more obvious in the early and advanced stages of blood pressure elevation, but not so manifest during obvious blood pressure increment, displaying an inverted S-shaped curve of changes (R2=0.996 2, P ＜ 0.05).CONCLUSION: Contraction of the cerebrovascular smooth muscles is enhanced with the dynamic increment of arterial pressure after the development of hypertension. Vascular tone increase is more manifest during the early and advanced stages of hypertension.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for determination of the dissolution of lovastatin tablets and to investigate the dissolution of it from different manufactures.METHODS:HPLC was employed for content determination with Alltima C18 chromatographic column,and the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.01% phosphoric acid(60∶40)with the detective wavelength set at 238 nm.The dissolution was determined by paddle method with 2% sodium lauryl sulphate-phosphate buffered solution(pH 7.0)as medium at a rotation speed of 50 r?min-1,and the sampling time was 30 min.The dissolution rates of 12 batches of samples from 6 manufacturers were determined.RESULTS:The linear range of lovastatin was 4.88～195.2 ?g?mL-1(r=0.999 9)and its average recovery rate was 97.7%(RSD=1.3%,n=9).Of the 12 batches of samples,3 batches from 2 manufacturers had dissolution rates of less than 80%,and the other batches stood at 80%～101%.CONCLUSION:The method is accurate,reproducible and simple,and it is effective in the quality control of lovastatin tablets.

Background The progenesis and development of dry eye is closely associated with the stability of tear-film.Dry eyes often show the visual disturbance.Therefore,to evaluate the stability of tear-film based on visual quality and explore the relevant dynamic vision change in dry eyes is of important significance.Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the dynamic changes of objective scattering index (OSI),modulation transfer function cut off (MTF cut off),objective visual acuity (OVA) with tear-film in the patients with mild or moderate dry eye disease using Optical Quality Analysis System.Methods A clinical diagnosis test was performed.Forty-two eyes of 42 consecutive patients with mild or moderate dry eyes were included in Tianjin Eye Hospital from December 2013 to May 2014 based on ‘ The Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Recommendations for Dry Eye from Consensus of Expert Advice in 2013’,and 29 normal eyes of age-and gender-matched 29 healthy volunteers were simultaneously included as the healthy control group.The dynamic retinal images under non-blinking condition during 15 seconds were recorded by OQAS-Ⅱ system,and the OSI,MTF cut off and OVA values at 0,5,10 and 15 seconds were obtained,and the differences of OSI,MTF cut off and OVA between 0 second and 15 seconds were calculated (△OSI,△MTF cut off,△OVA).The dynamic changes of △OSI,△MTF cut off and △OVA with time were evaluated.The sensitivity and specificity of △OSI,△MTF cut off and △OVA for the differential diagnosis of dry eyes were analyzed by receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve).Results The OSI values at 5,10 and 15 seconds in the mild or moderate dry eye group were significantly higher than those at 0 second or those in the healthy control group (all at P＜0.05),and the MTF cut off values and OVA values at 5,10 and 15 seconds in the mild or moderate dry eye group were significantly lower than those at 0 second or those in the healthy control group (all at P＜0.05).The △OSI,△MTF cut off and △OVA values were 1.03±1.53,(-8.37±9.64)c/d and-0.30±0.32 in the mild or moderate dry eye group,which were significantly higher than 0.06± 0.16,(-0.37 ± 5.27) c/d and-0.03 ± 0.18 in the healthy control group (t=4.10,-5.19,-5.28,all at P＜0.05).The area under ROC curve was 0.90,0.79 and 0.78 in △OSI,△MTF cut off and △OVA,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of △OSI was 78.6％ and 93.1％ respectively at the diagnostic cut off of 0.3.Conclusions The optical quality parameters related with tear-film stability are gradually reduced with extending of time in mild or moderate dry eyes,but they are stable in healthy eyes.The detecting outcomes by OQAS-Ⅱ system can reflect the dynamic status of tear-film,and this method is of important clinical value for the differential diagnosis and optical quality evaluation in dry eyes.
