1.Investigation on pregnancy outcomes and risk factors in pregnant women in-fected with Toxoplasma gondii
Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2014;(2):221-223
Objective To understand the pregnancy outcomes and risk factors in pregnant women infected with Toxoplasma gondii. Methods Toxoplasma IgM and IgG antibodies in sera from 2 740 cases of pregnant women were detected by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)in Zhuozhou Municipal Maternal and Child Health Care Center from 2010 to 2013,and the pregnancy outcomes were followed up. The risk factors for Toxoplasma infection were investigated with questionnaires. Results Among the 2 740 cases of pregnant women,195 cases were found with antibodies to T. gondii(7.12%),and among them,44 cas-es were IgM positive(22.56%),and 151 cases were IgG positive(77.44%). There were 41 cases with adverse pregnancy out-comes among the 195 cases(21.02%),including 32 cases of IgM positive(78.05%)and 9 cases of IgG positive(21.95%). There were 6 cases of adverse pregnancy outcomes in uninfected pregnant women(2.86%). The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05). The close contact with animals, eating raw meat, eating chafing dish or barbeque, and eating raw meat stuffing were important risk factors in pregnant women infected with T. gondii(compared with the uninfected group,P<0.01). Conclusion The Toxoplasma infection may lead to adverse pregnancy outcomes, therefore,to develop good habits of life and health is an effective way to avoid adverse pregnancy outcomes.
2.Application of double main teaching model in pharmacology teaching
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2013;(8):782-784
Double main teaching model can be applied in the teaching of pharmacology. To be spe-cific,for complex and difficult theory,we applied 'transmission-acceptancee' teaching method while for simple and easy theory,we used 'discovery' teaching method. Compared with the traditional teaching mod-el, double main teaching model improved teaching results and enhanced students' enthusiasm for learn-ing,their autonomous learning ability and cooperative ability. On the other hand, there still existed some prob-lems. We should keep on making great efforts to achieve better teaching results.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2005;0(11):-
Objective To investigate the effect of cytochrome P_ 450 2A6 (CYP2A6) genetic polymorphisms on serum concentration of sodium valproate. Methods A total of 98 epileptic patients receiving sodium valproate after a period of more than 5 half-time were recruited. The genotypes of CYP2A6 of the patients were detected by nested-primer polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to examine the alleles CYP2A6*1 and CYP2A6*4. Fluorescence polarization immunoassay (FPIA) was used to measure the serum concentration of sodium valproate. Results Of the 98 cases, 73 (74.5%) were wild genotypes, 24 (24.5%) were CYP2A6*1/*4 genotypes and 1(1.0%) was CYP2A6*4/*4 genotype. According to the genotypes of CYP2A6 the patients were divided into two groups, one was group A (CYP2A6*1/*1) and the other was group B (CYP2A6*1/*4 or *4/*4). The mean value of the serum concentration of sodium valproate of the patients in group A(4.1393?0.2793) was higher than that in group B(3.3486?0.3919) with a statistical significance (P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
Objective To study the genome dynamics of Y. pestis and look for the relationship between its genome microevolution and niche adaption. Methods The DNA microarray combined with PCR was used to perform comparative genomic analysis of natural populations of Y.pestis.Results It was revealed that considerable genome dynamics of Y. pestis were the result of gene acquisition and loss in genome. We established a genomotyping system to group homologous isolates of Y. pestis, drew an outline of parallel microevolution of the Y. pestis genome, and established the link between the bacterial niche adaptation and genome microevolution. Conclusion The transmission, colonization and expansion of Y. pestis in natural foci are the results of its parallel, directional and gradual adaptation to the complex interactions among the environment, the hosts, and the pathogen itself.
