1.Role of chronic inflammation in obesity-related glomerulopathy
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2016;31(5):395-397
In recently years, the incidence rate of obesity - related glomerulopathy(ORG)is increasing. Adi-pose tissue as a new endocrine organ releases inflammatory factors which can lead to glomerular artery endothelial damage, mesangial expansion and extracellular matrix accumulation and podocyte lesion, etc. Studies have confirmed that the chronic inflammation may play a key role in the pathogenesis of ORG. Now,the molecular mechanisms of chro-nic inflammation and its effect in the development of ORG were summarized.

Objective: To study the protective effect of anti-tumor necrosis factor-?antibody (TNF-? Ab) on lung injury after cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB). Methods: 20 patients with valve diseases underwent valve replacement under CPB. The patients were randomly divided into two groups: control group and TNF-? Ab group. In the TNF-? Ab group, human TNF-? Ab was dropped into the intracheal tube before operation and just after releasing the aortic clamp, respectively. Lung dynamic compliance, blood neutrophils count and TNF-? from the right and left atrium were determined perioperatively. Results: The dynamic compliance of the lung in TNF-? Ab group was higher than that in control group. TNF-? Ab can reduce releasing of TNF-? and restrain leukocyte accumulation in the lung. Conclusion: TNF-? Ab has markedly protective effect on lung injury after CPB.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2012;18(3):226-229
Objective To investigate the effects of neurotrophics and rehabilitation on the neural function recovery after the hypoxic-ischemic brain injury in rats. Methods Model rats of hypoxic-ischemic brain injury were given monosialotetrahexosylganglioside sodium(GM1, n=8), mouse nerve growth factor (NGF, n=8), both drugs (n=8), rehabilitation (n=8), both drugs+rehabilitation (n=8) and control (nointervention, n=8). The other 7 rats was as sham group. They were assessed with hanging and inclined plane test when 30 days old. ResultsIn the factorial design, main effect of GM1 was significant (P<0.05) but NGF (P>0.05) in hanging test; while both were significant in inclinedplane test. The interaction was not significant (P>0.05) in both tests. The main effects of drugs and rehabilitation were significant (P<0.05), as well as the interaction (P<0.05) in both tests. Conclusion GM1 may significantly improve muscle strength, voluntary movement, balance and coordination functions, and NGF may improve the balance and coordination functions. No interaction is found when combinedwith the two therapies. Rehabilitation may significantly improve muscle strength, voluntary movement, coordination and balance, and synergyeffects can be gained when combined with the drugs.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2010;12(11):1467-1470
Objective To explore the changes of frequency, BAFF expression and sensitivity to apoptosis of CD19 + CD5 + B cells in endometriosis patients and investigate the relationship between CD19 +CD5 + B cells and endometriosis. Methods Flow cytometry and quantitative PCR were used to assess the frequency, BAFF expression and sensitivity to apoptosis of CD19+ CD5 + B cells in the peripheral blood, peritoneal fluids and endometrium biopsies of 39 patients with endometriosis and 31 patients with myoma of uterus ( control subjects). Results: All 39 endometriosis patients had higher frequencies ( all P < 0. 01 ) of CD19 + CD5 + B cells in the peripheral blood, peritoneal fluids and endometrium biopsies than that in 31 control subjects. CD19 + CD5 + B cells from endometriosis patients expressed higher BAFF, and were more resistant to CD95L-induced apoptosis than the cells from control subjects ( P < 0. 01 ). Conclusion CD19 + CD5 + B cells might play an important role in the pathogenesis of endometriosis through higher BAFF expression and more resistance to CD95L-induced apoptosis.

Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 2015;(2):176-180
Objective To investigate the number changes of the ribbon synapses(RS) in the inner hair cell of C57BL/6J mice with age .Methods The cochlear basilar membrane was obtained from C57BL/6J mice in 2 ,6 ,10 , 12 months old .RIBEYE on the presynaptic membrane and AMPA receptor on the postsynaptic membrane were double labeled by immunofluorescence histochemical technique .The stained sections were observed under a confocal laser-scanning microscope .Then the number of RS of the basilar membrane was calculated by three dimensional reconstruction images using 3DS max software .Results The numbers of RS reduced gradually from the cochlear a‐pex to base in the same developing stages .The numbers of RS in apex and middle turn of cochlea were gradually re‐duced with the age increasing .The number of RS in basilar turn reduced first and increased slowly then .Conclusion The decreases of the number of RS maybe the main pathological change at the early stage of presbycusis .In addi‐tion ,there may be a kind of compensatory mechanism by increaseing the number of RS to delay the hearing deficits .

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2014;49(1):30-6
APOBEC3 is a class of cytidine deaminase, which is considered as a new member of the innate immune system, and APOBEC3G belongs to this family. The research about APOBEC3G is a new direction of innate immune defense mechanism against virus. APOBEC3G has the restrictive activity on many viral replications, which deaminates dC to dU in the viral genome and then induces extensive hypermutation. APOBEC3G can also interrupt viral replication at several phases such as reverse transcription, replication, nucleocapsid and so on by non-deamination mechanisms. However, virus can encode viral proteins to counteract the restriction activity of APOBEC3G. Elucidation of the antagonistic interaction between APOBEC3G and the virus will be contributed to development of new antiviral drugs in the future.
