Objective To investigate the effect of continued nursing education manual on surgical nursing education. Methods A continued nursing education manual was designed and applied to surgical nursing education. The effects were assessed by comparing the nursing training results before and after intervention by the manual in terms of nursing theory test, nursing techniques test. Results After the application of manual, the training coverage rate increased from 94.59%to 100.00%(P<0.05),the pass rate of theory test increased from 87.57%to 94.21%(P<0.05),and the pass rate of nursing skills test increased from 90.27%to 96.14%(P<0.05). Conclusion The continued nursing education manual is effective in improving the educational effect of surgical nursing.
2.Establishment of medical equipment communion-center for full utilization of medical resources
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(04):-
In order to make the best of the medical equipment and avoid repetitive purchase, our hospital establishes a medical equipment communion-center,the section offices of which are responsible for keeping the occasionally-used but indispensable equipment. The equipment managed by the Medical Affairs Office and the Medical Engineering Office could be lent to any section offices in the hospital, thus not only facilitating medical treatment but reducing expenses.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2013;27(11):618-620
The clinical data of two adolescents with unilateral nasal cavity neoplasm were analyzed. Both were male, one was 14-year-old and the other was 17. Both were complained of unilateral nasal obstruction and nasal discharge; The course of disease of the former was one month ,and that of the latter was three month; both were found neoformation in unilateral nasal cavity in medical examination. Occupying lesion in unilateral nasal cavity and sinus were demonstrated in CT scan of two cases. Endoscopy surgery were operated in both cases, incisal opening in labiogingival groove was added in the latter. Pathology of the former was capillary hemangioma and the latter was rhabdomyosarcoma. No findings indicating recurrence has been observed in two cases under 6 months follow-up. Recognition at nasal cavity and paranasal sinus neoplasm in adolescent is essential so that proper management can be initiated.

Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2016;21(6):366-368
Discoidin domain receptor 1(DDR1)is a kind of receptor tyrosine kinases(RTKs),which is expressed abnormally in many tumors. It is involved in the development, invasion and metastasis process of tumors and may become a potential target of tumor therapy. This article reviewed the expression and significance of DDR1 in tumors of digestive system.

Objective To investigate the effects of chronic fluorosis on the expressions of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) mRNA and protein and the differentiation and maturation process of bone cell in the osteoclast of bone tissue of rats. Methods According to body weight,thirty-six healthy SD rats(body mass 100-120 g) were divided into three groups by random number table, twelve in each group, half male and half female. The rats of control group were given tap water(NaF < 1 mg/L),and rats of low-fluorine and high-fluorine groups were fed with tap water containing 5 and 50 mg/L NaF to establish chronic fluorosis model.Rats were sacrificed after eight months; the contents of urinary fluoride in 24 hours and bone fluoride were analyzed by fluoride selective electrode.Serum content of tartrate resistant acid phosphatase 5b(TRACP5b)was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The paraffin section of bone tissue was stained by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) and pathological morphometry was observed under optical microscope. The protein and mRNA levels of MMP-9 in the osteoclast of bones were detected by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH),respectively. Results The differences of fluoride contents of urine and bone in rats were statistically significant between groups(F =400.612,48.229,all P < 0.05).Fluoride contents of urine and bone were increased in lowfluorine and high-fluorine groups[(6.09 + 0.56),(7.69 + 0.64)mg/L,(12.65 ± 3.07),(26.53 + 5.88)mg/kg] compared to the control groups[(1.36 ± 0.51)mg/L,(0.67 ± 0.16)mg/kg,all P < 0.05],and the fluoride contents of urine and bone were gradually increased with increasing fluoride doses(all P < 0.05).The difference of TRACP5b content in serum was statistically significant between groups (F =9.607,P < 0.05),in low-fluorine and high-fluorine groups, the TRACP5b contents[(1.86 ± 0.13),(1.92 ± 0.22)U/L] were higher than that of control group [(1.57 + 0.20)U/L,all P < 0.05].The pathological examination showed osteosclerosis in fluoride exposed groups. The differences of MMP-9 mRNA and protein expressions were statistically significant between groups (F =365.727,331.382,all P < 0.05).Compared to the control groups(97.22 ± 2.24,78.51 ± 1.16),the expressions of MMP-9 protein(108.18 ± 1.97,119.28 ± 1.76) and mRNA(89.44 ± 2.86,102.14 ± 2.39) were increased(all P < 0.05),and the expressions of MMP-9 mRNA and protein were gradually increased with increasing fluoride doses (all P < 0.05).Conclusions Chronic fluorosis might influence osteoclast differentiation and maturation process through regulating the expression levels of MMP-9 protein and mRNA.

AIM: To establish HPLC fingerprint for the identification of Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides and its adulterants. METHODS: The chromatographic seperation was performed on a Diamonsil C_(18) (250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm)with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid, gradient eluent, at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The UV detection was set at 340 nm. RESULTS: There was an apparent difference in fingerprint between Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides and its adulterants. CONCLUSION: The method is stable and reliable with a good reproducibility andprovides a reference standard for identifying Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides and its adulterants.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(2):79-81
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the prospective efficacy of chronic sinusitis lost to short-term follow up after nasal endoscopic surgery and the influential factors.
METHOD:
Prospective efficacy of 153 chronic sinusitis (CRS) was evaluated . All cases were treated by nasal endoscopic surgery at least 1 year ago but lost to follow up within 3 months after surgery. The clinical data of 153 patients were analyzed, including gender, age, educational level, course of the disease, smoking and drinking history, early surgery history, allergic rhinitis (AR) history, nasal polyps, visual analogue scale (VAS) score, nasal endoscopy score, CT examination score, the endoscopic experience of surgeons, medication of intranasal glucocorticoid and nasal irrigation after surgery. Multifactor logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the data.
RESULT:
Among 153 patient, the symptoms of 32 cases (20.9%) were completely control, while those of 74 cases (48.4% ) were partially control, and the symptoms of 47 cases (30.7%) were not controlled. The curative effect were better for CRS without nasal polyps, AR or early surgery history, with CT examination score < or = 5, operated by surgeons with experience of endoscopy surgery for more than 5 years. and treated with intranasal glucocorticoid for more than -1 weeks after surgery.
CONCLUSION
Postsurgery follow-up should be paid more attention to in treatment of CRS. Plans of follow up should be adjusted to patients condition. Treatment of postoperative sinus cavity should be minimized when the lesion is slight and operated properly.
