It's difficult to diagnose precancerous lesion and early cancer for a long time, because both of them haven't typical morphological characteristics. As a novel diagnostic modality, fluorescence endoscopy can accurately reflect minimal changes in human's tissue, thus making a meaningful progress for cancer diagnosing. 200 patients were examined by fluorescence endoscopy to evaluate the diagnostic value. The overall accuracy, sensitivity and specificity for detecting malignant gastrointestinal tumor was 94.0%, 94.6% and 93.5%, respectively. Thus, fluorescence endoscopy can be used to diagnose malignant gastrointestinal tumors with high validity and reliability, and is advantageous over conventional white light endoscopy especially in detecting the atypical and suspicious lesions. Furthermore, fluorescence endoscopy can also guide target biopsy, is significant to improve the early cancer detection rate, has a broad development prospect.

BACKGROUND: Conventional hemodialysis mainly for cleaning uremic micro molecule substance, such as urea nitrogen or creatinine; however, few hemodialyses can clean uremic middle molecule substances (MMS). With prolonged dialysis duration, MMS accumulates in vivo and induces a series of complications. OBJECTIVE: To compare the efficiency of adsorptive dialysis (hemoperfusion unites hemodialysis) and conventional hemodialysis in cleaning uremic MMS. METHODS: Totally 60 maintenance hemodialysis patients were averagely divided into the adsorptive dialysis group and conventional hemodialysis group. First of all, hemoperfusion apparatus and dialyser were connected in series to take the adsorptive dialysis in the adsorptive dialysis group (hemoperfusion apparatus were equipped before dialyser). 120 minutes later, the hemoperfusion apparatus was toke off and continues to hemodialysis for 120 minutes. Duration of conventional hemodialysis was 240 minutes. Changes in clinical symptoms and levels of liver function, kidney function, serum electrolytes, hemocytes and uremic MMS were observed prior to and after treatment. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Adsorptive dialysis could remove the MMS notably. Compared with the conventional hemodialysis group, a single 120 minutes treatment could decrease MMS significantly (P < 0.05). The platelet levels were obviously decreased in the adsorptive dialysis group after treatment (P < 0.05), which were significantly different from the conventional hemodialysis group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in liver function, kidney function or serum electrolytes concentration. But related symptoms, such as the skin itch, sleep disorders and myalgia, were relieved more or less.

Objective To study the safety and effect of interventional treatment for arteriesclerotic obliterations of iliaco-fermoral artery via radial artery retrospectively. Methods Sixteen cages were treated with interventional procedare via radial artery. The duration of disease was from 3 days to 2 years. All cases presented with rest pain and intermittent claudicating(with distance less than 500 m).Unilateral lesions were found in 9 cases.and bilateral lesions in 7 cases.Iliaco-femoral arteries were obliterated completely in 6 cases.while the other ten cases had arterial stenesis more than 75%.After visualization of obliterative artery.urokinase was administrated consecutively from catheter indweUed in or above thrombus.Transcatheter thrombolysis would be cancelled if the therapeutic effect wag negligible after using umkinase for 72 hours. After thrombolysis.the balloon angioplasty and the stent implantation were performed in the cases with residual stenesis more than 50%. In all of 16 cases,5 caseg underwent continuous intraarterial thrombolysis only.11 cases received balloon angioplasty and/or stent implantation additionally. The ankle/braehial index(ABI)post-treatment and pre-treatment was analyzed. Results The duration of transcatheter thrombolysis was 3.0-15.0 days,averaged(8.4±2.9)days.The obliterative arteries were recanalized in 15 cases. The symptoms of rest pain disappeared in all cases.while intermittent claudicating was still present in 4 cases, but the claudicating distance increased significantly(92.50±60.21 and 625.00±84.26 m for pre-and post-operation respectively). The ABl was 0.63-1.10(0.91±0.12)for post-treatment and 0-4).57(0.32±0.14)for pre-treatment respectively(t=21.73,P<0.01).During 6-24 months' follow-up,restenosis occurred in 1 case, which was treated successfully once again after halloon angioplasty. There was no serious complication related to the procedure. Conclusion It is safe and effective to apply continuous thrombolysis combined with balloon angioplasty and stent implantation to treat iliacofemoral artery obliteration interventionally via radial arterv.

Objective:To investigate the correlation between CHA 2DS 2-VASC score and the recurrence risk of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation after radiofrequency ablation. Methods:It was a retrospective cohort study. A total of 150 patients who underwent radiofrequency ablation for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation in Xingtai People′s Hospital from January 2017 to January 2021 were consecutively included in the study. According to the preoperative CHA 2DS 2-VASC score, patients were divided into high score group (≥3 points, n=90) and low score group (<3 points, n=60). Baseline clinical data was collected. All patients underwent circumferential pulmonary vein isolation, and those with atrial flutter before ablation also underwent tricuspid isthmus isolation. Holter and electrocardiogram examinations were performed at 3, 6 months and 1 year after ablation to evaluate whether there was recurrence of atrial fibrillation. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression was used to analyze the risk factors for recurrence of atrial fibrillation after radiofrequency ablation. Results:Among 150 patients 90 were males and 60 were females with a mean age of (64.0±3.6) years. There were no significant differences in age, sex, and proportion of hypertension, diabetes, chronic heart failure and stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), medication of antiarrhythmic and anticoagulant drugs between the two groups (all P>0.05). The longest duration of atrial fibrillation in the high score group was significantly longer than that in the low score group (26.0±6.1) hours vs. (10.0±2.1) hours, P<0.05). There were no patients with cardiac tamponade, atrial esophageal fistula and severe vascular puncture complications in the two groups. During the follow-up period, the recurrence rate in the high score group was significantly higher than that in the low score group (16.7% (15/90) vs. 8.3% (5/60), P<0.05). Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that CHA 2DS 2-VASC score≥3 was an independent risk factor for atrial fibrillation recurrence in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation after radiofrequency ablation ( HR=3.84, 95% CI: 1.87-7.89, P=0.02). Conclusion:CHA 2DS 2-VASC score≥3 is an independent risk factor for atrial fibrillation recurrence in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation after radiofrequency ablation.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Traditional chemotherapy causes serious toxicity due to the wide bodily distribution of these drugs. Curcumin is a potential anticancer agent but its low water solubility, poor bioavailability and rapid metabolism significantly limits clinical applications. Here we developed a liposomal curcumin dry powder inhaler (LCD) for inhalation treatment of primary lung cancer. LCDs were obtained from curcumin liposomes after freeze-drying. The LCDs had a mass mean aerodynamic diameter of 5.81 μm and a fine particle fraction of 46.71%, suitable for pulmonary delivery. The uptake of curcumin liposomes by human lung cancer A549 cells was markedly greater and faster than that of free curcumin. The high cytotoxicity on A549 cells and the low cytotoxicity of curcumin liposomes on normal human bronchial BEAS-2B epithelial cells yielded a high selection index partly due to increased cell apoptosis. Curcumin powders, LCDs and gemcitabine were directly sprayed into the lungs of rats with lung cancer through the trachea. LCDs showed higher anticancer effects than the other two medications with regard to pathology and the expression of many cancer-related markers including VEGF, malondialdehyde, TNF-, caspase-3 and BCL-2. LCDs are a promising medication for inhalation treatment of lung cancer with high therapeutic efficiency.
