Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2012;28(22):18-20
ObjectiveTo explore the effect of health education on uncertainty in illness and hope level of patients with acute coronary syndrome.Methods100 patients with acute coronary syndrome were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 50 patients in each. The control group received routine treatment, the observation group was given health education based on routine treatment. After treatment Mishel Uncertainty in Illness Scale(MUIS)and Herth hope index(HHI)scale were used for effect evaluation.ResultsThere were no significant differences on MUIS and HHI scores between two groups before nursing intervention. But after nursing intervention,MUIS score was lower and HHI score was higher in the observation group than those of the control group.ConclusionsHealth education on patients with acute coronary syndrome can reduce the uncertainty in illness and improve the level of their hopes.
3.Clinical nursing of pulmonary surfactant in treatment of premature babies with respiratory distress syndrome
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(19):14-16
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect and nursing ways of pulmonary surfactant in premature babies with respiratory distress syndrome. Methods From July 2008 to January 2011,63 cases of premature babies with respiratory distress syndrome were admitted to our department, pulmonary surfactant was dripped through trachea into these patients, the treatment effect after medication was observed. Results Among these premature babies, one case died of respiratory failure, one case died from pulmonary hemorrhage, sixty-one cases were cured, the cure rate was 96.8%. After treatment, the arterial blood pH, partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2) and oxygen saturation(SaO2) of the 61 patients was significantly higher than before treatment, the arterial blood partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PaCO2)、 total carbon dioxide (TCO2)、actual bicarbonate (AB)was significantly lower than before treatment. Conclusions Pulmonary surfactant combined with appropriate nursing ways is able to cure premature babies with respiratory distress syndrome effectively.
4.Clinical observation and nursing intervention of children patients with hand-foot-and-mouth disease complicated with viral encephalitis
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(23):3-4
Objective To observe the clinical therapy of hand-foot-and-mouth disease, and to summarize the method of nursing intervention. Methods A retrospective analysis was carried out in 112 pediatric patients with hand-foot-and-mouth complicated with viral encephalitis disease of our hospital from February 2009 to May 2010. The method of nursing intervention during treatment was summarized. Results According to the incidence of pediatric patients, regardless of during or after treatment, various nursing interventions were taken. And ultimately, patients were all cured, after discharge they had no significant sequelae. Conclusions There are seasonal and age differences among pediatric patients, pertinent nursing intervention should be taken in order to make patients recovery early.
5.Establishment of multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment patterns for ocular ischemic syndrome
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2013;(3):233-236
Ocular ischemic syndrome (OIS) is a disease seen in cardiology, ophthalmology, neurology, and neurosurgery, which can lead to brain and ocular symptoms induced by carotid artery obstruction or stenosis. In local and general manifestation, ocular symptoms usually appear first.Ocular symptoms show the pre-warning effect of other ischemic damage.Ophthalmologists should pay attention to the clinical manifestation and damages of OIS.The establishment of multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment patterns for OIS is a pivotal issue for several disciplines.
6.Ponderation on the strategy of medical rescue after wenchuan earthquake
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(01):-
Objective To summarize the experiences of medical rescue in Wenchuan Earthquake and enhance the comprehensive competence of medical rescue in coping with heavy disaster. Methods By retrospectively and descriptively analyzing the data related to the casualties and the action of medical rescue in Wenchuan Earthquake from the macro level, combining with the author's experiences in the rescue work, the deep ponderation on the strategy of medical rescue in coping with heavy disaster was formed. Results The time distribution of the casualty could be divided into rising period and steady period by the time two weeks after Wenchuan Earthquake, and the casualties were mainly from 7 seriously destroyed areas(including Beichuan,Mianzhu,Shifang,Dujiangyan,Qingchuan,Wenchuan,Pengzhou),accounting for about 72.62% of all casualties. The medical teams rescued over 2 000 000 victims totally, among them 10 048 victims were evacuated from the distressed areas and well treated in 367 hospitals distributed in 20 provinces.Anti-epidemic measures were then carried out in the serious earthquake areas regionally and subject-specially,ensuring that the urgent medical aid was paid to all the injured people and no epidemics outbreak over the disaster areas after the earthquake. Conclusions Great efforts should be made to enhance the ability of medical rescue, such as the establishment of quick responding medical system;development of national medical rescue teams;accelerative construction of different medical rescue function modules;optimization of the national emergent medical rescue command system;reinforcement of the scientific research on disaster medicine and improvement of the national information network of medical rescue in emergency.
7.Advances of the research on the correlation of nitric oxide and the generation, development and metastasis of tumors
China Oncology 1998;0(04):-
Nitric oxide(NO) is a kind of gas with the character of free radical, taking part in the generation, development and metastasis of the tumor. On the one hand,NO kills the tumor via macrophage and endothelial cells. On the other hand,NO accelerates the growth of tumor by promoting the growth of blood vessels and increasing the blood flow. Further study of NO will bring the hope of exploring the generation and development of tumors, and finding the new methods of treatment.
