The present study deals with the histochemistry of intramural plexus in stomach, duodenum, ileum, caecum, proximal colon, distal colon and rectum of normal adult guinea pig, including the reaction of Mg~(++)-ATPase, Ca~(++)-ATPase, CCO, SDH, G6PDH, carbohydrate, protein, nucleic acid and lipid in the enteric neurons. The reactions of all the enzymes mentioned above are observed under the light microscope and estimated semiquantitatively, among which, Mg~(++)-ATPase and Ca~(++)-ATPase are measured quantitatively with microphotometer (Leitz MPV II). Both results of light microscope, and microphotometer were analysed statistically. It was found that the above mentioned enzyme activities in the enteric neurons, suggesting that the neurons carry out active metabolism with these concerned enzymes. There were significant differences in some enzyme activities between myenteric plexus and submucous plexus, the former showed higher activity in SDH, while the latter in LDH, G6PDH, and two kinds of ATPase. It is suggested that there are some differences in. the major metabolic manner of carbohydrate, energy metabolism and functional activity between, two plexus. Besides, there were marked difference in enzyme activities among myenteric plexus of different part of digestive tract, the highest activity was showed in duodenum and proximal colon, the lowest was in caecum. These results indicate that enteric neurons differ greatly in functional state, but whether or not the variation of enzyme activities is related with the different types of neurons is unknown.

There are Many gaps of medical psychology on course plans, teaching methods and examination methods in Chinese medicine institutions. Therefore, the teaching of medical psychology must be reformed. By improving course plans, strengthening multiple teaching methods and examination methods used, quality of teaching on medical psychology can be enhanced, and many persons with ability of traditional Chinese medical science can be educated to be abreast of bio-psycho-social medical model.

Objective:To discuss the performance management method for large medical equipments in hospitals.Methods:13 large medical equipments in a large hospital were selected as samples and the economic efficiency analysis method and comprehensive evaluation method were aaplied to carry out performance management of medical equipment.Results:11 sets of medical equipment had good economic returns,the remaining 2 sets of equipments had a greater degree of loss due to lack of business and lack of qualification.Conclusion:Performance management of large medical equipments would help change the efficiency management of equipment from extensive to elaborate management.

Objective To observe the anti-aging effect of Yinao capsule. Methods The rat model of acute incomplete cerebral ischemia was established, and determined the content of superoxide dismutase (SOD), lipid peroxidation (LPO) and Evans blue in brain tissue, determined the serum SOD content of normal rats. Formed blood platelet thrombus by common carotid artery-external jugular vein blood flow bypass operation of rats, and weighed wet weight of thrombus. Results The Yinao capsule can increase SOD and Evans blue content of brain tissue from rat model of acute incomplete cerebral ischemia, at the same time, decrease the LPO content. It can enhance serum SOD content of normal rats, and inhibit the formation of experimental thrombus. Conclusion The Yinao capsule can prevent the occurrence of senile diseases, and defer organism aging.

Objective:To investigate the effects of Qingxin Yangshen Chinese herbs on ?-adrenoceptor in cardiocytes of stress rats.Methods:Adopting the method of radoligand binding,the affinity of ?-adrenoceptor of experimental myocardium cells and density were analyzed.Meanwhile,RT-PCR was used to test mRNA of ?-adrenoceptor of myocardium cells.To observe the effect of Qingxin Yangshen Fang on ?-adrenoceptor of myocardium cells of stress rats,and the Zhusha Anshen Pills and Propranololas the control groups.Results:All the three groups above can increase the affinity of ?-adrenoceptor of experimental myocardium cells,promote its sensitivity and notably inhibit the decrease of density of receptors and control down-regulation of expression of ?1-ARmRNA induced by stress,and regulate up the expression of ?2-ARmRNA.Conclusion:The Chinese herbs of Qingxin Yangshen had the effect of acceptor inhibiting and can regulate the changes of ?-adrenoceptor of myocardium cells induced by stress.

Objective:To establish a method for the content uniformity ( CU) of fennel oil in Weitongning tablets to study the CU of fennel oil in Weitongning tablets. Methods: Methyl salicylate as the internal reference, the content of trans-anethole in fennel oil was determined by GC. The separation was performed on a DB-FFAP capillary column (30 m × 0. 32 mm, 0. 25 μm) at 145℃, the injection part temperature was 180℃ and the FID detector temperature was 230℃, nitrogen with high purity was used as the carrier gas at the flow rate of 0. 8 ml·min-1 . The air flow rate was 400 ml·min-1 and that of hydrogen was 35 ml·min-1 . The methodology validation was carried out, and the samples from different companies with different batches were determined. Results:Significant differ-ence showed in the CU of fennel oil in the samples with different batches from the same manufacturer or from different companies. The trans-anethole showed linear correlation within the range of 2. 189-35. 030 μg · ml-1 ( r =0. 999 9 ) and the average recovery was 100. 06% (RSD=0. 5%, n=9). Conclusion:The method is simple and quick. It is accurate in the CU determination of fennel oil and can be used for the quality control of Weitongning tablets.

Objective:To observe clinical therapeutic effect of Bushen Tiaochong Decotion on anovulatory dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Methods:One hundred and twenty-eight out-patients were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group(n=78)was treated by oral administration of Bushen Tiaochong Decoction and the control group(n=50)by oral administration of Provera. Objective To study the cardiac function effect of allopurinol for hypemricemia combined with dilated cardiomyopathy patients.Methods One hundred and twenty hypemricemia combined with dilated cardiomyopathy patients were divided into allopurinol group and control group according to the treatment method with 60 cases each.All the patients were given conventional treatment,the control group was added the nitroprusside treatment,and the allopurinol group was added the allopurinol and nitroprusside treatment.The treatment period was 3 months.Results The total effective rate in allopurinol group was significantly higher than that in control group [90.0％ (54/60) vs.75.0％ (45/60)],there was statistical difference (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,the left ventricular ejection fraction and left ventricular posterior wall thickness at end-systole in allopurinol group were significantly higher than those in control group [(67.85 ± 7.12)％ vs.(30.78 ±7.00)％ and (1.40 ±0.20) mm vs.(1.16 ±0.18) mm[,but the left ventricular internal diameter at end-systole,left ventricular internal diameter at end-diastole and left ventricular posterior wall thickness at end-diastole were significantly lower than those in control group [(4.72 ± 0.41) mm vs.(6.48 ± 0.47) mm,(2.93 ± 0.32) mm vs.(5.56 ± 0.62) mm and (0.77 ± 0.13) mm vs.(0.92 ± 0.18) mm],there were statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,The uric acid,urea nitrogen and creatinine were significantly lower than those in control group [(45.43 ± 11.24) μ mol/L vs.(167.23 ± 19.22) μ mol/L,(10.23 ± 7.12)mmol/L vs.(40.93 ± 8.09)mmol/L and (32.01 ± 8.34) mmol/L vs.(78.09 ±9.11) mmol/L],there were statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Allopurinol used for treating hyperuricemia combined with dilated cardiomyopathy patients can reduce uric acid,early reversal the atherosclerosis and improve heart function,it should be widely applied research.

Objective To explore the clinical significance of early invasive mechanical ventilation for acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) caused by thoracic trauma.Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 93 patients of invasive mechanical ventilation in those with ARDS caused by thoracic trauma,and divided them into delayed invasive mechanical ventilation group (n =45) and timely invasive ventilation group (n =48) by the time of invasive mechanical ventilation.We compared the blood gas analysis,oxygen index,heart rate,lactic acid,muscle use score of the two groups before and after invasive mechanical ventilation and the differences of mechanical ventilation time,incidence of complications,mortality and length of hospital stay between the two groups.Results Each index of the delayed invasive mechanical ventilation group and the timely invasive ventilation group was calculated:PaO2 (63.2 ± 12.3,74.2 ± 12.1)mm Hg,PaCO2 (39.4 ±8.7,38.9 +7.6) mm Hg,PaO2/FiO2 (196.2 ± 17.8,231.4 ± 18.2),respiratory rate (27.4 ±3.7,21.1 ± 3.4) beats/min,heart rate (117.2 ± 26.8,96.0 ± 25.1) beats/min,accessory muscle use score (2.69 ± 0.15,1.67 ± 0.10),lactic acid (4.23 ± 1.70,2.12 ± 0.80) mmol/L Except for PaCO2,the differences of each index were statistically significant (t values were respectively 4.346,9.420,3.949,5.436,38.809,7.736; P ＜ 0.05).The duration of mechanical ventilation treatment (10.21 ± 1.50,6.47 ± 1.20) d and the length of hospital stay (21.53 ± 1.90,16.32 ±2.10) d of the delayed group and the timely group were significantly different (t values were respectively 12.518,13.318; P ＜ 0.01).The timely group had significantly lower mortality rate (26.7％ (12/45),14.6％ (7/48)),VAP (46.7％ (21/45),22.9％(11/48)),acute gastric mucosal lesions (33.3％ (15/45),12.5％ (6/48)),MODS (40.0％ (18/45),16.7％ (8/48)) than the delayed group (x2 values were respectively 3.86,5.81,4.49,5.70; P ＜ 0.05).There is no significant difference on the incidence of pneumothorax between the two groups (11.1％ (5/45),8.3％ (4/48)).Conclusion Invasive mechanical ventilation is an effective treatment of ARDS caused by chest trauma.Early invasive mechanical ventilation can reduce the mortality rate and shorten the duration of mechanical ventilation and hospital stay of the patients with ARDS after severe thoracic trauma.

OBJECTIVE: To establish a rapid and precise detective method of 33.5 kd vesicular protein and to screen an effective treatment of cholelithiasis. METHODS: Specific antibody of the biliary vesicular protein was obtained by immunizing rabbits and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit was developed. The concentrations of 33.5 kd vesicular protein in serum and bile of gallstone patients and control were examined respectively. The effects of Cholagogue Dry Syrup and Eulektrol Capsule on decreasing 33.5 kd vesicular protein were also studied by ELISA kit. RESULTS: One-step ELISA equation was Y=0.035 X (r=0.99). The vesicular protein concentrations in serum and bile of cholesterol gallstone group [(179.8+/-97.9) mg/L and (213.4+/-70.1) mg/L respectively] were significantly (P<0.05) higher than in the pigment stone group and control. Data showed that, with 2-week administration, Cholagogue Dry Syrup significantly decreased both biliary and serum 33.5 kd vesicular protein of cholesterol gallstone patients, while Eulekrol Capsule and control groups didn't have the same results. CONCLUSION: The concentrations of 33.5 kd protein are different in cholesterol gallstone patients and healthy groups which might be related to cholesterol nucleation process. Cholagogue Dry Syrup is of cholagogic and litholytic effect by decreasing biliary lithogenesis.
