Objective To determine the correlations between breast ultrasonic and mammographic features and molecular classification of breast infiltrating ductal carcinoma in young women.Methods A retrospective review of radiological,clinic-pathology features of breast cancers for women under 40 years at our hospital between January 2011 and May 2016 covering 94 patients.Mammography and ultrasound were available for all 94 patients.Results On sonography,basal like type tumours more often appeared as oval or round masses and microlobulated or indistinct margins luminal type irregular mass and angular or spiculated margins(P =0.000,P =0.000).Basal like type masses were often with abrupt interface,luminal A type with echogenic halo (P =0.000).On mamography,HER-2 enriched type cancers more presented as microcal cification only,basal likc type more masses(P =0.002).Luminal typc masses were more often with spiculated or obscured margins,basal like with indistinct margins(P =0.000).Conclusion The imaging charasteristics of breast infiltrating ductal carcinoma in patients under 40 years appear correlated to breast infiltrating ductal carcinoma.

Objective:To assess effect of fluvastatin on vascular endothelium-dependent diastolic function of hypercholesterolemia patients. Methods:Thirty five patients with hypercholesterolemia were treated with fluvastatin (40 mg/d,po) for 8 weeks. 25 healthy adults were as control group.The baseline of brachial angiobore and the changes of it at response to nitroglycerin and reactive hyperemia were measured by Dopple ultrasound before and after treatment in hypercholesterolemia patients. Objective To study the sub chronic toxicity of silver nanoparticles on medaka.Methods Adult fish were divided into silve nenopartides and control group.Animals were collected on 14 days after exposure, and some toxicological endpoints such as death rate, tissue distributed of silver irons, oxidative stress and histopathological damage were measured.Results There were significant difference in death rate of medaka treated with silver nanoparticles and control group.Compared with the control group, the content of silver in gill, intestine and liver of medaka treated with silver nanoparticles were increased significantly.Compared with control group, the activity of LDH in liver and SOD in liver and gill were significantly decreased(P<0.01).The content of MDA in liver of medaka treated with silver nanoparticles was significantly increased(P<0.01).The liver and gill of mekada treated with silver nanoparticles were damaged, compared with control group.Conclusion Nano silver has a certain subchronic toxicity to aquatic life.

Objective:To construct and evaluate a novel tissue-engineered bone composed of murine stromal cell-derived factor 1(mSDF-1), simvastatin (SIM) and collagen scaffold (Bio-Oss?), serving as a cell-homing approach for bone formation .Methods: In the study , 32 ICR mice were randomly divided into 4 groups,each group including 8 mice.The drug-loaded collagen scaffolds were implanted subcutaneously onto the cranium of each mouse according to the groups: ( 1 ) 1 ∶50 ( volume ratio ) dimethyl sulfoxide ( DMSO ) /phosphate-buffered saline ( PBS ) solution +collagen scaffold ( blank control group ); ( 2 ) 10 -3 mol/L SIM solution +collagen scaffold ( SIM group ); ( 3 ) 200 mg/L mSDF-1solution +collagen scaffold (mSDF-1 group); and (4) 10 -3mol/L SIM +200 mg/L mSDF-1 solution +collagen scaffold ( SIM +mSDF-1 group) .One week after implantation , the mice were trea-ted by injecting the same drug solution mentioned above around the scaffold once a day for two days .The specimens were harvested 6 weeks after implantation and the bone formation was evaluated by soft X-ray analysis , HE staining and immunohistochemical staining .Angiogenesis of each group was checked by calculation of vessels in each tissue section .Results:Six weeks after implantation , the collagen scaffolds were retrieved.The value of gray scale for the SIM +mSDF-1 group[(421 836.5 ±65 425.7) pixels] was significantly higher than that of the blank control group [(153 345.6 ±45 222.2)pixels, P<0.01], the SIM group [(158 119.2 ±100 284.2) pixels, P<0.01], and the mSDF-1 group[(255 529.5 ± 152 142.4) pixels, P <0.05 ]; HE staining analysis revealed that significant bone formation was achieved in the SIM +mSDF-1 group; The immunohistochemical staining showed the existence of os-teopontin and osteocalcin in the SIM +mSDF-1 group; There were more vessels in the SIM +mSDF-1 group[(46 ±8)vessels/mm2] than in the blank control group [(23 ±7) vessels/mm2, P<0.01], and the SIM group[(24 ±6) vessels/mm2 , P<0.01].Conclusion:The novel tissue-engineered bone com-posed of mSDF-1, SIM and collagen scaffolds has the potential to form bone subcutaneously in vivo.It re-presents a novel method of in vivo bone re-generation without seed cell delivery .

Objective To explore the application of mini-laparoscopy in the diagnosis and management of nonpalpable undescended testis in children.Methods 38 cases of impalpabal testes(46 testicular) had been operated by mini-laparoscopy in children with cryptorchidism.Results 38 children with nonpalpable undescended testis (46 testicular) had been operated by mini-laparoscope.Results After laparoscopic exploration,inguinal probe and postoperative pathology,it had been confirmed that 2 testicular were absent,34 testicular were found in high inguinal location,10 testicular were located in intraperitoneal cavity.In addition to the absent testicular,the rest had been performed with mini-laparoscope:one period descent fixation 41 testes,Fowler-Stephens (F-S) installment orchiopexy three testes.Follow-up with side testicular atrophy 2,including one period orchiopexy a testis,F-S installment fixation a testicular; Testicular rebound 1,who had been operated with one phase of testicular descent fixtion.Conclusion For inguinal failed to find the testicular,children with cryptorchidism should be done by laparoscopy because of its positioning accuracy,and most children can do a period drop fixed,but for those really intraperitoneal more exalted person,stage surgery should be needed.Its overall treatment effect is satisfactory and is worth popularizing.

Objective To investigate, in vitro, the co-infection of Caco-2 cells ( epithelial cells of intestinal mucosa) with Candida albicans and Enterohemorrhagic escherichia coli ( EHEC) .Methods The ability of both species to invade the Caco-2 cells was evaluated by inverted microscopy.Damage to Caco-2 cells was evaluated by measuring lactate dehydrogenase ( LDH ) activity. C. albicans virulence gene expression ( ALS3, PLB1 and SAP4 ) was evaluated by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction ( qRT-PCR) .Results Compared to simple infections with C.albicans alone, a co-infection invaded Caco-2 cells more rapidly, and C.albicans tended to proliferate more easily presenting in cluster shape of distribution.In addition, the LDH activity in the co-infection group (group 3) was the highest compared to groups 1, 2, 4 and 5, (F values of 14.48, 5.48, 11.74 and 3.45 respectively;all P <0.05);There was no significant difference in LDH activity found between the secondary fungous infection group ( group 5) and the EHEC infection group (group 2) (F=2.03, P=0.54) or between the secondary bacterial infection group (group 4) and the Candida albicans infection group (group 1) (F=2.74, P=0.11).The LDH activities in groups 2 and 5 were significantly higher than that in groups 1 and 4 ( all P <0.05 ) .In addition, an up-regulation of toxicity-related genes ( PLB1 and SAP4 ) were detected.The expression of PLB1 was higher in group 3 than that in group 1 ( P=0.014 3 ) and SAP4 was higher in groups 3 and 5 than that in group 1 (P=0.027 2, P=0.001 8, respectively).Conclusions Using Caco-2 cells for an infection model, this study demonstrated that co-infecting in vitro enterocytes with C.albicans and EHEC enhanced the invasiveness and tissue damaging effects of C.albicans.

Objective To investigate the quality of life of children with leukemia and the related factors.Methods The descriptive and interrelated design was used in this study.80 children with leukemia were interviewed using"the QOL instrument for children".Results The level of QOL was "generally satisfied"among children with leukemia.Mostly,the level of QOL among depression,anxiety and physical perception was less satisfied.QOL was significant related with gender,relationship in the family,performance in the schooll,relationship with peer,and personality,and was not related with place of living,whether the child was the single child in the family,disease classification and stage of ehemothrapy.Conclusions The evaluation of QOL of children with leukemia is very important.Interven-tions should be performed to improve QOL of children with leukemia,especially boy,and ehidren who are introversive.or have worse relationship with family and peers,or worse performance in the school.

AIM: To measure the concentrations of angiotensinⅡ(ATⅡ) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in plasma of diabetics and investigate the relationship between ATⅡ and VEGF and the role of VEGF in occurrence and development of diabetic nephropathy(DN). METHODS: 98 type Ⅱ diabetics were divided into two groups: 43 were in diabetic nephropathy group and 55 in non-diabetic nephropathy (NDN) group, and 25 healty persons were in control group. We measured the levels of ATⅡ, VEGF, glycosylated hemoglobinC (GHbAlc) in plasma and urinary microalbumin(UmALB), respectively. Objective This paper reports a modified method for the isolation of rat thoracic aortic vascular smooth muscle cells based on combined enzyme double digestion.Methods An enzyme mixture containing collagenase II, soybean trypsin inhibitor and elastase was prepared and used to remove the aortic tunica intima and tunica adventitia, and then the tunica media was subjected to second digestion using the same enzyme mixture and to isolate vascular smooth muscle cells.Results The isolated VSMCs were cultured in vitro and the growing cells had an elongated spindle-shape, reached confluence within a week, and displaying a typical hill-and-valley pattern.After 1 week, the cells were passaged.Contractile smooth muscle markers(α-SMA, myosin-II and β-tubulin) were highly expressed in the isolated cells.More than 90% of the cells significantly expressed alpha smooth muscle actin and myosin-II.Conclusions Themethod established in this study has advantages of simple and easy to operate, and good reproducibility, with a high activity and purity of the separated cells.It can ensure to obtain a large amount of contraction-type vascular smooth muscle cells within a short time.

Objective To establish reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) with primers specific for CEA gene and CK20 gene to detect circulating tumor cells in peripheral blood of esophageal cancer pa-tients,and try to find the relationship between the mRNA expression and micrometastasis. Methods The expressions of CEA,CK20 were analyzed by RT-PCR in 53 cases of esophageal tumor tissue and in peripheral blood,compared with 10 patients with benign esophageal disease and 20 healthy volunteers. Results The expressions of CEA-mRNA, CK20-mRNA were 96.23% (51/53), 100% ( 53/53 ) in 53 esophageal tumor tissue and were 52.83% (28/53), 49.06% (26/53) in peripheral blood of 53 esophageal cancer patients. In control group,there was only one expression of CEA-mRNA in peripheral blood of 10 patients with benign esophageal disease,as well as in 20 healthy volunteers. There was no expression of CK20-mRNA in peripheral blood of 10 patients with benign esophageal disease and 20 healthy volunteers. Conclusion CEA-mRNA, CK20-mRNA might be specific and sensitive markers to detect circu-lating tumor cells in peripheral blood and their expression was closely related to TNM stages of the esophageal cancer patients.
