OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy and safety of Fuyanxiao effervescent tablet in the treatment of damp-heat pour-ing downward syndrome of fungal vaginitis. METHODS:80 patients with damp-heat pouring downward syndrome of fungal vagini-tis were randomly divided into control group and observation group. Control group was given one Nystatin vaginal suppository,and the drug was given in the third day after the menstrual period ending,once every night;observation group was given one Fuyanx-iao effervescent tablet,and the drug was given in the third day after the menstrual period ending,once every night. 2%-4% Sodi-um bicarbonate solution was used for vulva cleaning before taking the medicine at night,then patients kept lying flat to let the med-icine going into the vaginal depths. There were totally 3 treatment courses with 7 days each. During the treatment,sexual activities and antibiotics were prohibited. The clinical efficacy,TCM symptom scores,vaginal lactobacillus positive rate and recurrence rate before and after treatment,and incidence of adverse reactions in 2 groups were observed. RESULTS:There were no significant dif-ferences in the total effective rate,recurrence rate and incidence of adverse reactions (P>0.05). Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the TCM symptoms and vaginal lactobacillus positive rate(P>0.05);after treatment,TCM symptoms in 2 groups were significantly lower than before,genital itching,leucorrhea color-quality and lower abdomen pain in observation group were significantly lower than control group,vaginal lactobacillus positive rate in observation group were significantly higher than before and control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the vaginal lactobacillus positive rate(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Fuyanxiao effervescent tablet shows good efficacy in the treat-ment of damp-heat pouring downward syndrome of fungal vaginitis and improve clinical symptoms,with no recurrence rate and good safety.

Objective To investigate the olanzapine and quetiapine quetiapine in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease patients of different clinical effects and influence on the swallowing function of patient.Methods According to the order of visits to the author departments were 73 cases of Alzheimer's patients were divided into group A(37 cases) and group B(36 cases).Patients in group A were treated with olanzapine in the treatment of, and group B with quetiapine in the treatment, the time of the two groups of patients are 12 weeks, to observe the differences of the two groups during the treatment of swallowing function indexes and clinical efficacy.Results After treatment, the MMSE scores of two groups of patients compared with pre-treatment, there was no statistical significance and BEHAVE-AD score before treatment significantly decreased ( P <0.05 ).Post-treatment, the patients in two groups of MMSE, BEHAVE-AD score difference does not have statistical significance.The difference of clinical efficacy between two groups post-treatment was not statistically significant.Watian drinking water test score of two groups Post-treatment, SaO2 decreased value compared with those pre-treatment significantly increased (P<0.05).After treatment of two groups of patients Watian drinking water test score difference does not have statistical significance, and post-treatment, patients in group B of SaO2 decreased value lower than that in group A ( P <0.05 ).Mild dysphagia, two cases of moderate swallowing dysfunction occurred in twenty-six patients in group A, group B with mild swallowing dysfunction occurred in twenty-one patients, A group of swallowing dysfunction more serious than group B serious ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusion Olanzapine and quetiapine quetiapine in the treatment of patients with Alzheimer's disease clinical effect quite, patient's swallowing function cause some adverse effects, effects of olanzapine is more serious.

Objective Dynamic observation of plasma endotoxin (ET),plasma TXA2 and PGI2 levels and clinical symptoms in patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP),the protective effect of Salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine on the intestinal barrier in severe acute pancreatitis was studied.Methods The 60 cases of severe acute pancreatitis treated in our hospital from August,2014 to October 2015 were studied as the research object,and were randomly divided into the control group and the danchuan group.Two groups of patients received conventional treatment,such as diet,gastrointestinal decompression,early active fluid resuscitation,maintenance of stable electrolyte,anti infection,inhibition of pancreatic secretion,parenteral nutrition and other support treatment,Dan Chuan group on the basis of conventional treatment combined with 10 ml of compound Salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine injection of 5% glucose injection,250 ml intrave-nous drip,1 times a day.Two groups of patients with 14 days for a period of treatment,the clinical symp-toms of the two groups were observed after the end of treatment,the clinical symptoms and the changes of la-boratory index.Results ⑴In the group of Dan chuan,the time of patients relieve intestinal pneumatosis or intestinal obstruction,abdominal pain were less than the control group,the difference was statistically sig-nificant (P <0.05).⑵ The recovery time of plasma endotoxin,serum amylase,and leukocyte in the Dan Chuan group were shorter than those in the control group (P <0.05).⑶The incidence,mortality and inci-dence of complications in the control group were significantly lower than those in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05).Conclusions Salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine has a significant effect on severe acute pancreatitis.It can improve the intestinal microcirculation by correcting the balance between PGI2 and TXA2 ,and can promote the recovery of intestinal function,reduce the incidence of intestinal bacterial and endotoxin,and reduce the incidence of complications.

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of postoperative analgesia between intercostal nerve freezing and con‐trolled intravenous analgesia in patients of thoracic surgery .Methods 80 patients of thoracic surgery from January 2012 to June 2013 were randomly divided into two groups :Intercostal nerve cryotherapy group (frozen group n=40) and intravenous analgesia group(control group n=40) .Frozen group :the intercostal incision and down each one intercostal and chest tube placement of inter‐costal nerve roots were frozen before sternal closure ;control group :intravenous analgesia pump were used postoperative .According to VAS method to evaluate pain level and observe adverse reactions ,complications and analgesic drug usage of postoperative pa‐tients .Results The analgesic effect of frozen group was better than that of control group within five days after thoracotomy .Com‐pared with the control group ,the incidence of adverse reactions ,postoperative complications ,and analgesic drug usage was signifi‐cantly reduced in frozen group ,there was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0 .05) .Postoperative follow‐up dis‐play :intercostal nerve area in some patients may appear numbness ,dysesthesia ,etc .,but the above situation can return to normal gradually .Conclusion The analgesic effect of intercostal nerve cryotherapy for thoracotomy patients is excellent ,and with few side effects and good safety ,and it is worthy of promotion .

Ultrastructural changes in the spiral organ of cochlea at various intervals after exposure to impulse noise were investigated. Guinea pigs were exposed to 10 impulses noise of 166 dB SPL peak level which had duration of 0.1 ms. Thirteen of the exposed animals were used to systematically measure threshold shift at regular intervals from 30 min to 30d post-exposure. The other fourteen animals who had been exposed to the same impulse noise were killed for transmission electron microscopy (TEM) examination at the same intervals, respectively. The recovery pattern of threshold shift showed a nonmonotonic type. There was a progressive deterioration of changes in the hair cells between 30 min and 8h after exposure. Intracellular degeneration reached a peak at 8h and marked edema and swelling leading to deformation of the outer hair cells (OHCs), fused stereocilia, large vesicles in cytoplasm and swollen submembraneous cisterns were found. After that time the extent of degeneration in the hair cells reduced. The time sequence of changes in the spiral organ of cochlea in the present study was associated with the recovery pattern of threshold shift.

Background　Culture of retinal pigment epithelium(RPE) cells is very important for establishment of proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR) model,prevention and treatment of PVR as well as RPE cell transplantation.Isolation of animal RPE cells by trypsinization is a critical step.ObjectiveThe present study is to establish the methods of isolation and culture of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells in rabbit and comparied with that of pig RPE culture.MethodsRPE cells were isolated by trypsinization in pigmented rabbit and pig and cultured in DMEM containing 20% fetal bovine serum.Cultured RPE cells were identified by immunochemistry.The fourth generations of cells were used in this experiment.Morphology and characteristics of cultured RPE cells from rabbit and pig were examined and compared under the light microscope.ResultsIsolated RPE cells from pig were obtained by once trypsin digestion,but two times of trypsinization were needed in rabbit RPE cells isolation.The differentiation in response to trypsinization was related to anatomic difference between the two types of cells .The adherence time of pig RPE cells was 24 hours ,however,the rabbit RPE needed 48-72 hours after culture.Proliferation and vitality of cultured cells were gradually attenuated and melanin decreased after several times subculture.The morphology of culture RPE cells was obviously different between rabbit and pig because species difference.Immunohistochemistry demonstrated the positive response of RPE cells for keratin.ConclusionRPE cells can be acquired from both rabbit and pig by trypsinization and culture.The culture process of RPE cells of pig is simpler than that of rabbit.Cells within the fourth generations are suitable for experimental application.

Objective To investigate the expression of scaffold protein palladin in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tissues and to discuss its clinicopathological significance.Methods 56 samples of PDAC and corresponding adjacent normal pancreas (NP) tissues were collected.Another 10 samples of chronic pancreatitis (CP) tissues were collected.Western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry assay were performed to detect the expression of protein palladin.The correlation of palladin expression with clinicopathological factors of PDAC was analyzed.Results Western blot analysis revealed that the expression of palladin in PDAC,CP and NP tissues were respectively 0.93±0.07,0.41±0.07 and 0.20±0.06,and the expression of palladin was significantly increased in PDAC tissues compared with NP and CP tissues (P ＜ 0.05),and its expression was significantly increased in CP tissues compared with NP tissues (P ＜ 0.05).Immunohistochemical staining showed that palladin was mainly expressed in activated myofibroblasts in PDAC tissues.The rate of palladin expression was 79 ％ (44/56),which was higher than that in NP tissues (2/10) and CP tissues (4/10),and its expression was found to be correlated with the degree of tumor differentiation,lymph node metastasis and clinical TNM classification (P ＜ 0.05),and it had no correlation with patient' s sex,age,tumor location and distant metastasis (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions Scaffold protein palladin is highly expressed in PDAC tissues,and it is expressed in the activated myofibroblasts within tumor microenvironment.Scaffold protein palladin may be involved in the invasion and metastasis of PDAC.

Objective To evaluate the surgical effects and methods of bipolar plasmakinetic enucleation and resection of prostate for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Methods A total of 120 patients with BPH were performed bipolar plasmakinetic resection of prostate and bipolar plasmakinetic enucleation of prostate for BPH. The blood loss,operative time,catheterization time,hospital stay and complications were monitored and analyzed. Results All of the patients were operated successfully. All the cases were followed up for 3-6 months. No urethral stricture, bladder neck contracture, rebleeding, permanent urinary incontinence occurred. The maximum flow rate increased from (6.1 ± 2.5) ml/s peroperative to (16.3 ± 2.2) ml/s at 3 months postoperative,and international prostate symptoms score (IPSS) decreased from (23.8 ± 5.2) scores peroperative to (4.6 ± 3.9) scores (P < 0.01). Conclusion Bipolar plasmakinetic enucleation and resection of prostate for BPH has many advantages such as thorough excision of the prostate,less blood loss in operation,less operation time and complications, higher security and quicker recovery, so it deserves clinical application.

Objective To investigate treatment effect of the type of foot drop in patients with lumbar disc herniation.Methods Clinical data of 34 patients with foot drop in lumbar disc herniation who were treated in Spinal Surgery Department of Shunyi District Hospital of Beijing from January 2006 to December 2013 were retrospective analyzed,all patients were treated by operation.After 24 months of follow-up,the effect was observed,the prognosis and related factors were analyzed.Results Two years after operation,the recovery of the patients was excellent in 4 cases and good in 19 cases,common and poor in 11 cases,and the excellent and good rate was up to 67.6%(23/34).Analysis results showed that after 3 to 24 months after surgery,the anterior tibial muscle strength grades(grade 0-5) corresponding score were 28 points preoperatively,59 points at 3 months after surgery,69 points at 6 months after surgery,92 points 1 year after surgery,reached 95 points 2 years after surgery.Muscle strength score of patients with an increasing trend,especially after 3 months to 12 months after the operation.Conclusion The drop occurred should be operated as soon as possible,recommendations for open surgery,complete decompression,avoid injury.Three months to 1 years after operation is the key period of recovery.

Objective To investigate the quality of life (QOL) and its influential factors in the aged patients with ulcerative colitis (UC).Methods A cross-sectional survey of the UC patients was conducted by Chinese version of inflammatory bowel disease questionnaire (C-IBDQ).The influential factors for QOL in elderly patients with UC were evaluated and analyzed by correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.Results A total of 90 aged UC patients finished the questionnaire study.The overall score of QOL in the aged UC patients was (175.7±37.6),and the score of each item was decreased,especially in the aspect of economic burden,emotional function and systemic symptoms.Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that the influential factors for QOL were sex,disease severity,duration,disease activity and the payment.The scores of bowel symptoms were higher in men than in women [(53.9±12.1) vs.(49.1±10.5),P=0.049].The QOL scores were lower in patients with the duration less than one year than over one year (P＜ 0.05).The QOL scores were lower in severe patients than in mild patients (P＜ 0.05).The QOL scores were lower in patients during active period than during remission period [(149.7 ± 35.1) vs.(193.9 ± 27.3),t=6.731,P=0.000].The QOL scores of patients whose medical cost was mainly paid by themselves were lower than those paid by insurance.And there were significant differences in systemic symptom,social function and economic burden (all P＜ 0.05).Conclusions The QOL of the aged UC patients is impaired in varying degree.The influential factors for QOL are sex,disease severity,duration,disease activity and the payment.The QOL in UC patients is obviously affected by economic burden.
