Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of TCM external treatment combined with Dasangju Mixture in treating mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP) in children. Methods One hundred patients with MPP were randomly divided into control group and treatment group by parallel design, with 50 patients in each group. Patients in control group orally took azithromycin combined with other symptomatic treatment when necessary, 7 d for a course and continuously for 3 courses. Based on the treatment for control group, patients in treatment group were added with TCM external treatment (BL13 and RN17) combined with Dasangju Mixture, while azithromycin was sequentially used just for 2 courses. Other types of treatment lasted for 3 courses. The improvement time of symptoms and signs of the patients were recorded and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were evaluated. Moreover, the serum concentrations of mycoplasma pneumoniae-immune gloulin M (MP-IgM) were determined before and after treatment on the 1st and 21st days. Results The improvent time of fever, and cough and lung sign of the treatment group were more obviously shortened than the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate was 96.0% (48/50) in observation group and 74.0% (37/50) in control group, with statistical significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, the negative rate of the serum concentration of MP-IgM in the treatment group was 82%, and that of the control group was 58%, with statistical significance between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion TCM external treatment combined with Dasangju Mixture can not only significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs of MPP children patients, but also shorten the disease course, and the efficacy was significant. Meanwhile it can reduce the course and side effects of azithromycin, which provides reference to the administration of antibiotics in children.

Objective To explore the construction of TCM psychological crisis interventional theoretical system. Methods Based on the experience of TCM psychological medical group participated in the crisis intervention therapy after the earthquake,we draw a theoretical conclusion and made arrangement from the perspective of the disciplinary development of TCM psychology.Result We developed some assumptions to build the TCM psychological crisis intervention theory which conformed to the Chinese situation. Conclusion The building of crisis intervention theory must conform to Chinese situation and Can be applicable to lead the practice. The theory in this article should be enriched and improved in practice later.

Objective To investigate the protective effects ofDasangju Mixture on the liver injury induced by delayed-type hypersensitivity in mice; To discuss its mechanism of anti-inflammatory-immunity.Methods After enterocoelia intravenous injection of cyclophosphamide was used, 2,4,6-picryl chloride was used twice for exterior coating for skin of abdomen to cause sensation of skin. Then percutaneous transhepatic puncture was used to attack for modeling. Male Kunming mice were randomly divided into blank group, model group, high-, medium- and low-dose treatment groups. The high-, medium- and low-dose treatment groups were given Dasangju Mixture for gavage, once a day for 7 days. ELISA was applied to determine the serum levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alamine aminotransferase (ALT) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α. Pathological features of liver tissue were observed by HE staining. Results Compared with the blank group, the levels of AST, ALT and TNF-α in the model group increased significantly (P<0.05); Compared with the model group, the levels of AST, ALT and TNF-α in the high-, medium- and low-dose treatment groups decreased significantly (P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.001); Compared with the model group, high-, medium- and low-dose treatment groups can better alleviate topical inflammation infiltration and edema of liver tissue.ConclusionDasangju Mixture has certain protective effects on the liver injury induced by delayed-type hypersensitivity in mice.

Objective To investigate the prevalence and severity degree of post traumatic stress disorder(PTSD), anxiety and depression, and to explore the different mental profile in different groups involved with an earthquake. Methods 26 days after 8.0 grade earthquake in Wenchuan, psychological rescue team of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine went to some communities in Deyang and Mianzhu area of Sichuan province. In this period, a total of 119 survivors, including students(42), teacher(40) and masses(37), were investigated through impact of event scale (IES), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale(SDS). Results①The detection rate of score over 19 in IES in 3 groups (students, teacher and masses) were 69%, 80% and 91.9%, respectively. There was significant difference among these 3 groups (F=5.611, P=0.005<0.01) in respect of severity degree of PTSD. ②The values of severity degree of anxiety in 3 groups were significant higher than normal value (P<0.001, all). There was also significant difference among these 3 groups (F=3.376, P=0.038<0.05) in respect of severity degree of anxiety, with the masses group being significant higher than student and teacher group (P=0.029, P=0.022, respectively). ③The values of severity degree of depression in these 3 groups were significant higher than normal value (P<0.05, all). But there was no significant difference (F= 0.670, P=0.514) among these 3 groups. ConclusionThe results suggested the importance to assess PTSD, anxiety and depression in post-disaster area, especially PTSD and anxiety evaluations in the masses group.

Objective To evaluate the imaging findings of thoracic Castleman's disease (CD)to improve the diagnostic accuracy. Methods The imaging findings of 14 cases of thoracic CD confirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively.Plain and dynamic contrast-enhanced CT scans were performed in all patients before surgery. Results Among the 14 cases,10 cases were hyaline vascular type (HVT)and other 4 cases were plasma cell type (PCT).HVT-CD showed well-define,homogeneous soft-tissue lesion with different sizes of lymph nodes around the lesions in 2 cases, mottled calcification in 2 cases and coarse calcification in 1 case.Dynamic enhanced CT showed HVT-CD had obvious enhancement in arterial phase, and sustained enhancement in venous phase and delayed phase.PCT-CD all showed enlarged lymph nodes in the mediastinum and bilateral axillary, associated with interstitial pneumonia, pulmonary nodules, ground glass opacity and pleural effusion, with marked and sustained enhancement 1 case. Conclusion Thoracic HVT-CD presents equal density on CT plain scan, and obvious and durative enhanement on multiphase contrast-enhanced CT,which can be accompanied by lymphnodes around the lesions and intratumoral calcification. With the above imaging findings,we should consider the possibility of HVT-CD.CT features of PCT-CD are non-specific,a comprehensive evaluation of the clinical data should be combined, but the obviously enhanced PCT-CD can be diagnosed.
