2.VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR AND TUMOR ANGIOGENESIS

Objective To evaluate the effect of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) on tumor angiogenesis, and its usage in tumor therapy. Methods The recent literatures about VEGF and angiogenesis were reviewed and analyzed. The advances of VEGF study were summarized. The effects of anti-angiogenesis in tumor biological therapy were introduced.Results Angiogenesis had been identified as an important factor for promoting tumor growth. VEGF was a basic and pivotal factor in tumor angiogenesis. The anti-angiogenesis treatments aimed at VEGF, including the applications of VEGF inhibitor and gene therapy of adenovirus medium, had got great progress. Conclusion VEGF is a leading factor of tumor angiogenesis, the anti-angiogenesis therapy aimed at VEGF has probably provided a new chance to malignant tumor treatment.

4.CpG ODN enhance the antibody production in mice immunized with hepatitis B surface antigen

Objective:To investigate the effect of synthetic oligodeoxynucleotide containing CpG motifs (CpG ODN) on antibody production to recombinant hepatitis B surface antigen (rHBsAg) or hepatitis B vaccine respectively. Methods:The antigens were injected into the back leg tibialis anterior(TA) muscle of all the mice (Km breed and Balb/c breed) for two times.The serum anti HBs titers were detected by ELISA.Results:The anti HBs titers of additional CpG ODN groups are obviously higher than those of rHBsAg group or vaccine group alone, the antibody persistent time is some longer. Nevertheless, the anti HBs titers of pure breeding mice are significantly higher than those of non pure breeding mice. Conclusion:CpG ODN has enhanced efficacy for anti HBs production in immunized mice and synergetic effect can be observed in alum adjuvant of hepatitis B vaccine.
5.A citation analysis of Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology

Objective To evaluate the academic level and the popularity of Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology Methods According to the information of Chinese Medical Citation Index(CMCI),statistically analyzed the amount and distribution of the originals in Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology cited by the journal included by CMCI.Results The proportion of cited articles for original articles,short report and review were(73.8%),58.1% and 60.7% respectively,and average cited numbers for them were 7.2,3.0 and 3.4.The average of original articles cited by other researchers is 3.9,and there are more articles cited than other journal.The authors of these articles are from the 27 province/or municipalities,Beijing and Shanghai municipalities are in the front of Radiation Oncology research.There are 320 citing journals,and self-citing rate is 9.4%.Conclusions The Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology has published high quality articles,and has its own edition characteristics to keep its steady level of research.It is the one of the most important information resource for the radiation oncology researchers and the most important medical journal.
6.Effect of Shenfu Injection on the Expression Profile of Myocardial miRNA in Rats with Chronic Conges-tive Heart Failure

OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of Shenfu injection(SFI)on the expression profile of myocardial miRNA in rats with chronic congestive heart failure (referring to heart failure). METHODS:40 rats were randomly divided into sham operation group (normal saline,ip),model group (normal saline,ip),valsartan group (positive control,10 mg/kg,ig) and SFI group (0.75 mL/kg,im),10 in each group. Except for sham operation group,another groups were reduced heart failure. After modeling, rats in other groups received related medicines,once a day. Affymetrix miRNA V4.0 chip technology was conducted to analyze the miRNA expression in myocardial tissue of rats with heart failure after administration for 28 d,and screen the miRNA on common differential expression in myocardial tissue of rats in each group. The miRNA associated with heart failure was analyzed by thresh-old of differential gene expression multiple value greater than or equal to 1.1. Gene Ontology (GO) analysis was used to analyze functional classification and biological signaling pathway of differentially expressed genes. RESULTS:There were totally 29 miR-Nas on common differential expression and 7 miRNAs associated with heart failure (rno-miR-30c-1-3p, rno-miR-125b-5p, rno-miR-133a-5p,rno-miR-199a-5p,rno-miR-221-3p,rno-miR-146a-5p and rno-miR-1-3p). SFI can significantly downregulate the expressions of rno-miR-125b-5p,rno-miR-133a-5p,rno-miR-221-3p,rno-miR-1-3p in myocardial tissue of rats (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Results of GO analysis showed,miRNAs on differential expression were mainly related to signal transduction,cytoplasm and nucleotide binding. CONCLUSIONS:SFI plays the role of anti-heart failure by participating in the downregulation of miRNAs associated with heart failure process and then affecting related signal pathways transduction after the combination of cyto-plasm and nucleotide.

8.Research on the influencing factors of improving the synthesis ability of medical students

In order to study the factors which affect the synthesis ability of medical students,the investigation was made on 200 junior students and 12 related teachers in Tianjin medical University,the relationship of the factors influencing the cultivation for comprehensive ability of medical students was analyzed by the ISM(Interpretative Structural Modeling),the related countermeasures and suggestions were proposed,and the implementation effect was studied by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.The study shows that it is the time to carry out the teaching reform by defining the cultivation goals and perfecting the education systems,and introduce the teaching idea of combing the professional education with professional learning so as to improve the teaching quality,stimulate the students`study and practical enthusiasm for their professional development and attain,the ultimate goals for the effective education of the excellent medical talents and improvement for the students`clinical comprehensive skills and ability.
9.In vitro antioxidant properties of Longxuejie Capsule

AIM: To evaluate the antioxidant properties in vitro of Longxuejie Capsule (Sanguis draconis) (LC). METHODS: The antioxidant activities of Longxuejie Capsules were investigated by employing several external assay systems, including 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH?)/peroxide anion/hydroxyl radical-scavenging, reducing power assay system, peroxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acid from yolk lipoprotein induced by Fe~ 2+ method, and ?-carotene/linoleic acid assay system. RESULTS: The LC showed scavenging activity against free radicals, such as DPPH?, peroxide anion and hydroxyl radicals. LC also exhibited effective reducing power and powerful inhibitory effects on peroxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acid from yolk lipoprotein induced by Fe~ 2+ . Furthermore, LC showed markedly inhibitory effect on ?-carotene/linoleic acid assay system. CONCLUSION: Longxuejie Capsule has obvious antioxidant activities in vitro
10.Effects of Aerosol Inhalation of Budesonide Combined with Compound Ipratropium Bromide on Therapeu-tic Efficacy of Patients with Pneumoconiosis during Perioperative Period of Massive Whole-lung Lavage

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of aerosol inhalation of budesonide combined with Compound ipratropium bromide on therapeutic efficacy and safety of patients with pneumoconiosis during perioperative period of massive whole-lung la-vage (WLL). METHODS:One hundred and fifty male patients with pneumoconiosis receiving WLL under general anesthesia se-lected from our hospital during Dec. 2014-May 2016 were divided into treatment group and control group in accordance with ran-dom number table,with 75 cases in each group. Both groups received WLL under general anesthesia as well as pure-oxygen manu-al positive pressure ventilation alternating with negative pressure drainage keeping interval and respiratory rate of ventilator synchro-nization. Treatment group was given Budesonide suspension 2 mL,bid+ Compound ipratropium bromide solution 2.5 mL,tid,by aerosol inhalation from 3 d before surgery to 3 d after surgery. The levels of arterial blood gas indexes(pH,PaO2,PaCO2,BE)at different lavage stages,lung function indexes (FVC,MVV,FEV1/FVC),blood gas indexes and clinical symptom score 3 d be-fore surgery and 7 d after surgery were observed in 2 groups,and the occurrence of ADR was recorded. RESULTS:After two-lung ventilation for 20 min following unilateral/bilateral lung lavage,PaO2 of 2 groups were all increased significantly compared to be-fore surgery,with statistical significance (P<0.05);but there was no statistical significance between 2 groups (P>0.05). three days after surgery,FVC,MVV,FEV1/FVC and PaO2 of 2 groups were all increased significantly,PaCO2 and clinical symptom score were all decreased significantly. FVC,FEV1/FVC,PaO2 and clinical symptom score of treatment group were significantly bet-ter than those of control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). The incidence of airway spasm,hypoxemia and airway pres-sure increasing in treatment group were significantly lower than in control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). CONCLU-SIONS:During perioperative period of WLL,the aerosol inhalation of budesonide combined with Compound ipratropium bromide for patients with pneumoconiosis can improve clinical efficacy of WLL and reduce the occurrence of ADR during surgery.
