Objective To study the protective effect of leuprorelin particle on ovarian reserve function applied before the laparoscopic cystectomy of ovarian endometriosis.Methods 106 patients with endometriosis treated from January 2015 to December 2015 in our hospital were selected.The subjects were divided into two groups according to the random number table, 53 cases of each group.The control group adopted the laparoscopic surgery;the observation group took the leuprorelin particle before the laparoscopic surgery.The operation condition, ovarian hormone and function were observed. Results The operation time and bleeding amount in observation group was better than control group ( P <0.05 ) .After surgery, the exhaust time between two groups had no significantly different.After surgery, the level of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) in observation group was lower than control group; the level of estradiol (E2) in observation group was higher than control group (P <0.05); the level of luteinizing hormone (LH) between two groups had no significantly different.After surgery, the ovarian volume and antral follicle count ( AFC) in observation group was better than control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Before the laparoscopic cystectomy of ovarian endometriosis, the leuprorelin particle protects the ovarian function and morphology and has less impact in the level of hormone.

BACKGROUND: Wear particles factually serve as a medium carrying extensive information on the wear process involved in hip implants. Moreover, it has been demonstrated that wear particles contribute to the failure of Charnley total hip replacement.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the morphological characteristics of wear particles generated by couples of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) cups and Al2O3 femoral heads, mounted in a simulator in the presence of distilled water and explore the wear mechanism of UHMWPE cup.DESIGN: Wear tests were performed on a ball-in-socket hip simulator.SETTING: Department of Mechanical Engineering, Xuzhou Institute of Technology.MATERIALS: The molecular weight of UHMWPE selected as cup was 3 000 000. Its density was 0.935 g/cm3, hardness 30 HB, fracture strength 35 MPa, and water absorption < 0.01%. The experimental femoral head was made of alumina and zirconia (Al2O3: 87%, ZrO2: 13%). Its density was 4 g/cm3, hardness 90 HRA, tensile strength > 450 MPa, and tenacity 7 MPaM1/2.METHODS: The experiment was performed in the laboratory of tribology, China University of Mining and Technology from December 2003 to July 2005. Hip simulator was used to assess the tribological performance of Al2O3-UHMWPE at room temperature, 100 r/min, 784 N load for 1.5×106 cycles. Distilled water was used as the lubricant. Wear of UHMWPE acetabulum was measured every 3×105 cycles by taking out the acetabulum from simulator, cleaning in distilled water for 3 minutes in an ultrasonic bath, putting in an oven for 40 minutes at 80 ℃, and cooling off in a desiccator. A BT211D electronic balance (reciprocal sensibility, 0.01 mg) was used to measure the weight loss of UHMWPE acetabula according to the reference sample method to calculate the wear. A sample (20 mL) of distilled water lubricant used in test was obtained when the simulator was stopped for gravimetric analysis. Morphology of wear particles in samples and surface of worn UHMWPE acetabula were observed by using scanning electron microscope (SEM). The components of wear particles were determined by X-ray. Detailed measurements of the wear particles distribution were conducted by LS100(R) Laser Particle Size Analyzer (including LS SVM Plus).MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Morphology and size distribution of wear particles; Wear mechanism and wear rate of UHMWPE acetabula.RESULTS: The wear particles showed a wide range of particle sizes, varying from 0.3 to 180 μm, most of which ranged from 5 to 20 μm. More than 99% of wear particles were UHMWPE particles, which were classified into five groups in terms of their morphological characteristics: spherical particle, tearing particle, lamellar particle, fatigued flaking and rod-shaped particle. Lamellar or cube was the predominant form of Al2O3 ceramic particles with flat surface structure and upright edges. The worn surfaces of UHMWPE cup showed evidence of multidirectional scratching, adhesive and micro-contact fatigue wear, and plastic deformation.CONCLUSION: ①The dominant wear mechanisms acting in the UHMWPE cup are abrasive wear, adhesive wear, microcosmic fatigue wear and flaking associated with plastic deformation. ②The size of particles accumulating mostly is tiny among the particle groups.

Objective　To measure the levels of urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA) and its receptor (uPAR) in synovial fluid and plasma of patients with RA and investigate its clinical significance.Methods　By using ELISA sandwich method,the levels of uPA and uPAR in plasma from 46 patients with RA and 8 with osteoarthritis (OA) were measured.Those in synovial fluid (SF) from 14 patients with RA,and plasma from 12 healthy subjects were measured as controls.Results　The concentration of uPA and uPAR in SF from patients was significant higher than that in their plasma (P＜0.001,P＜0.01),and the concentration of uPA and uPAR in plasma of RA was also much higher than that in plasma of OA patients (P＜0.05,P＜0.000 1) and healthy subjects (P＜0.000 1,P＜0.001).There was no significance between plasma levels of RF＋ and RF－ in RA patients.The concentration of uPA and uPAR of plasma in RA correlated positively with CRP,RF and the number of swelling joints.Conclusion　The levels of uPA and uPAR in SF and plasma are useful parameters for monitoring disease activity of RA.These findings suggest that the uPA and uPAR genes may play an important role via proteolytic damage of the extracellular matrix during the development of RA.

Objective To investigate the effect of serum uric acid (UA) on cardiovascular diseases in hemodialysis patients. Methods The serum level of uric acid and other laboratory indexes of 80 hemodialysis patients were detected,and the left ventricular mass index (LVMI) and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) were detected by ultrasonic cardiography examination. Results According to the serum level of UA, the hemodialysis patients were divided into 2 groups:the group with high serum level of UA and the group with normal serum level of UA. There were significant differences (P<0.05) in hypertension history,the period of hypertension history, systolic blood pressure before hemodialysis between the two groups. The serum levels of UA,creatinine, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, C-reactive protein, brain natriuretic peptide and LVMI were significantly higher,while the serum levels of albumin,pre-albumin,high density lipoprotein cholesterol, LVEF were lower in the group with high serum level of UA than those in the group with normal high serum level of UA (P<0.05) . Furthermore, the serum levels of UA in 80 patients was positively correlated to systolic blood pressure before hemodialysis, serum creatinine, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, C-reactive protein, brain natriuretic peptide, and LVMI (P<0.05), while it was negatively correlated to serum albumin, pre-albumin, high density lipoprotein cholesterol and LVEF (P<0.05) . Conclusion High serum level of uric acid is associated with the onset of cardiovascular diseases in hemodialysis patients.

AIM:To study the effect of levofloxacin(LVFX)on serum concentrations and pharmacokinetics of phenytoin sodium(PHT)in rabbits.METHODS:Using UV-spectrophotometry,the serum concentrations of PHT were determined in nine rabbits before oral feeding LVFS and after a single dose of PHT given iv 10 days later.The pharmacokinetic parameters were worked out with 3p87 program.RESULTS:The concentration-time curve of PHT was fit to open two-compartment model.After co-administration of LVFX,the serum concentrations of PHT were decreased to some extent and part of pharmacokinetic parameters obviously changed as well.CONCLUSION:Co-administration of PHT and LVFX will accelerate the metabolic process of PHT.

Objective To determine the role of C-reactive protein(CRP) in evaluating the activity of ulcerative colitis. Methods Analysis was used to estimate the correlation of CRP with mean platelet volume in 41 patients with active ulcerative colitis and 17 patients ulcerative colitis in re-mission. The effects on disease severity were analyzed subsequently. Results Active UC patients sera CRP level(8.58 ±2.43)mg/L,which level of severe UC CRP (14.38 ±4.46)mg/L,the moderate level of CRP UC(6.68 ±2.35)mg/L,mild level of CRP UC(4.94 ±1.21)mg/L, while the remission stage UC patients CRP levels(3.05 ±0. 88)mg/L. CRP was found to be significantly higher in sera of patients with active ulcerative colitis than that in patients in remission (P ＜ 0.05). The sera level of CRP in inflammatory bowel disease at severe stage were significantly higher than those of medium stage (P ＜ 0. 05). CRP was observed to be slightly increased in sera of patients at mild stage (P ＜ 0. 05). Conclusion The increase of CRP could reflect the severity of active ulcerative colitis.

Objective To observe the effect of docetaxel combination with nedaplatin in the treatment of patients with advanced stage of normmall-cell lung cancer.Methods 72 patients with advanced stage of nonsmall-cell lung cancer were collected and randomly divided into observation group and control group.Docetaxel combination with nedaplatin was used in observation group and docetaxel combination with cisplatin was used in control group.The curative effect,no advancement time,total live time and adverse reaction were observed in each group.Results The CR rate 8.3％,PR rate 38.9％,total remission rate 47.2％ in observation group had no significant difference with control group.There was no significant difference in no advancement time and total live time between these two groups.The rate of digestive reactions was significantly lower in observation group than in control group ( all P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusion Docetaxel combination with nedaplatin was an effective method in the treatment of advanced stage of nonsmall-cell lung cancer.The toxic reaction was low and easily to tolerte.

Gliomas harbor a small population of cells termed glioma stem-like cells (GSC),which have the ability to undergo self-renewal and initiate tumorigenesis.GSCs are resistant to a wide variety of chemotherapeutic agents and possess a remarkable ability to recover from cytotoxic therapy.Furthermore,GSCs play a crucial role in RT failure,as tumors surviving RT are enriched in GSCs.Therefore,an alternative strategy involving selective targeting of this functionally distinct chemo-and radiation resistant small group of GSCs rather than the bulk of the tumor may be more successful in treating this deadly disease.GSC exhibit various alterations to signaling pathway activity,which are associated with self-renewal and neoplastic proliferation.These altered pathways may represent possible targets for GSC.

Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of gemcitabine plus oxaliplatin in treatment of relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin's lymphoma(NHL).Methods 39 cases with relapsed or refractory NHL were treated by gemcitabine and oxaliplatin combination chemotherapy. After three cycles, its efficacy and adverse reactions　were observed. Serum lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) concentration was detected before and after treatment and all the　patients were followed up. Results The rate CR was 11cases (28. 1％ ), PR 16cases (41.03％), NC 7cases (17.95％),PD 5cases(12.82％).Thetotalresponserate(CR+PR) was 69. 23％. Conclusion Gemcitabineand oxaliplatin combination chemotherapy in treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory NHL was safe and effective.

ObjectiveTo study the heat shock protein 47 ( HSP 47 ) andtype Ⅰ ,Ⅲ collagen relevance expression in keloid tissue. MethodsUSE immunohistochemistry to detect 21 patients( HS group) pathological keloid tissue HSP47, Ⅰ-type, Ⅲ collagen levels,and normal foreskin(control group) compared to the expression of HSP 47 and Ⅰ and Ⅲ collagen. ResultsHS group HSP 47 scar absorbance was( A value) ( 133.0 ± 58.7) ,it was significantly lower than the control group( 169.6 ± 53.2) ( t =2. 697 ,P =0.024) ;two groups of collagen type Ⅰ, Ⅲ collagen levels had statistically differentce(t =14.898,12.610,all P =0.000) ; HSP 47 level and type Ⅰ collagen were positively correlated(r =3.058,P =0. 034),and type Ⅲ collagen content was also positively correlated(r =4. 610, P =0. 029). ConclusionHSP 47 in keloid tissue could cause dermal layer assembly of collagen synthesis and significantly increased,and it was an important mechanism for the formation of keloids.
