1.Three-dimensional Otsu’s method for medical image segmentation based on a simulated annealing particle swarm optimization algorithm
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(22):-
Medical image has rich content, various features, and multiple dimensions. Therefore, it is more difficult to segment medical image compared with general image. Aiming at this, a three-dimensional Otsu’s method based on an improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm has been purposed for medical image segmentation. Three-dimensional Otsu’s method requires much computation. PSO algorithm can be used to search threshold vectors. Each particle represents a feasible threshold vec- tor. Thus, the optimal threshold can be acquired by the cooperation of particle swarm. Because the PSO algorithm easily sinks into local optimization, so a simulated annealing particle swarm optimization (SAPSO) algorithm has been purposed. The three-dimensional Otsu’s method based on SAPSO can rapidly and exactly get the entire optimal results. Simulation experi- ment results demonstrated that this method could acquire ideal results with less computation.

3.Roles of monoamine neurotransmitters in the mechanism of drug addiction
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2015;(2):149-151,152
Drug addiction is a chronic recrudescent brain dis-ease. Various addictive drugs acting on the reward system result in rewarding effects through changes in neurotransmitter patholog-ical release. Among these monoamine neurotransmitters, 5-hydroxytryptamine, norepinephrine and dopamine play key roles in drug addiction. This paper reviews, from a comprehensive perspective, the roles which monoamine neurotransmitters play in the drug addiction and the process of getting addictive.
4.Advances in circulating tumor cells detection and the colorectal cancer recurrence or metastasis
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2017;44(3):142-145
The occurrence rate of colorectal cancer is increasing. Metastasis and recurrence are the leading causes of death in colorec-tal cancer. Tumor cells in the circulation have the ability to proliferate or to migrate, thereby providing a reliable means for neoplasm staging and assessment of recurrence or metastasis, and evaluation of efficacy by detecting circulating tumor cells (CTC). Optimizing the development of detection technology will provide better support for clinical applications. This review mainly discusses CTC detec-tion and advances in colorectal cancer relapse or metastasis.
5.Pharmaceutical Care for One Patient with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia Complicated with Retinoic Acid Syndrome
China Pharmacist 2017;20(3):520-521
Objective:To investigate the role of clinical pharmacists in the therapy for a patient with acute promyelocytic leukemi-a. Methods:Clinical pharmacists participated in the treatment process of a patient with acute promyelocytic leukemia complicated with retinoic acid syndrome after tretinoin therapy. The rational treatment plan was put forward according to the literatures, the characteristics of drugs and the general situation of the patient. Results: Promising therapeutic effect was obtained, and the patient was discharged from the hospital. Conclusion:Clinical pharmacists play an active role in improving rational drug use and providing better individual-ized treatment for patients.
7.Updates in the research of Roux stasis syndrome
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2015;14(7):593-597
Roux-en-Y procedure has widely been used for digestive tract reconstruction after distal or total gastrectomy, and the Roux stasis syndrome is one of the most common complications. The symptoms of Roux stasis syndrome include abdominal pain, abdominal distention, nausea, vomiting and anorexia.Abdominal movement of the intestinal loop and reversed peristalsis cause delayed passage of gastric contents, which is the main cause of the Roux stasis syndrome.Prokinetic agents and electronic stimulation have been investigated as potential nonsurgical treatment methods for Roux stasis syndrome.Uncut Roux-en-Y anastomosis has been found to be effective in preventing Roux stasis syndrome. In the future, precise evaluation of the psychological changes of the digestive tract after the Roux-en-Y anastomosis and understanding the mechanism of Roux stasis syndrome would be more effective to help the surgeons to resolve the problems.
8.Comparison of PCR and HRM for detecting bacterial drug resistance gene aac (6′)- Ib-cr
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2017;38(3):319-320,323
Objective To study the difference of detection rate between PCR and high-resolution melt (HRM)for detecting the bacterial drug resistance gene aac(6′)-Ib-cr.Methods The PCR method was adopted to detect the aac(6′)-Ib gene in 299 strains of common Gram-negative bacilli, and the PCR positive products of aac (6′)-Ib were digested with BtsCI.Meanwhile Aac (6′)-Ib and aac (6′)-Ib-cr genes in above bacterial strains were detected by adopting the HRM technique. Results A total of 29 isolates were i-dentified as aac (6′)-Ib gene, and 21 mutations were aac (6′)-Ib-cr,with a mutation rate of 72.4% (21/29)for PCR and restriction enzyme digestion. And the results of the HRM test were in good agreement with each other. Conclusion PCR and HRM are similar for the detection of the bacterial resistance gene aac (6′)-Ib-cr,and aac (6′)-Ib-cr gene could be detected by a simpler HRM tech-nique instead of PCR and enzyme digestion, especially for a large number of screening.

10.Research on the parameter setting on multi-slice spiral CT scan infants with congenital heart disease
China Medical Equipment 2013;(9):9-11
Objective: To discuss the methods and experience of 64-slice spiral CT which used in infant cases with congenital heart disease, to select the appropriate scan parameters for reducing artifact and the radiation dose. Methods: Thirty-five cases with congenital heart disease were arranged CT examination by using Philips Brilliance 64-slice spiral CT scanner with Blous Tracking techniques. Results: All the images of the heart chambers, pulmonary artery, pulmonary vein, the ascending aorta and the descending aorta contrast agent filling showed good and had clear display. The density of superior vena cava is moderate. The various vascular CT value is approximate, no hardening artifacts. The atrioventricular of Cardiac and vascular of contrast agent filled fully and had clear boundary, no significant artifacts and no effect on the impact reconstruction. Conclusion: Appropriate adjustment of scanning parameters can reduce hardening artifact and the impact of artifacts. Following the principle of as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) can obtain diagnostic images and reduce radiation damage to the infant.
