Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2007;0(09):-
Objective:To explore the dynamic expression and migration of the novel testis- and sperm-specific protein FSCB in mouse spermatogenesis and observe the morphological localization of FSCB on normal and abnormal mouse sperm. Methods: For exactly staging of the mouse tubule sections, Periodic acid-Schiff staining was performed at first, and then the dynamic expression of FSCB on mouse testis and sperm by indirect Immunofluorescence was observed. Results:FSCB is a post meiotic protein initially expressed at step 11(stage Ⅺ)of mouse spermatogenesis in the elongating spermatids, and it’s expresson gradully become stronger and stronger from step 11(stage Ⅺ) through step 15 (stage Ⅵ). It subsequently begin migrate into the flagellar at step 15, and at last totally localize to the sperm flagellar at step 16(stage Ⅷ)accompanied with its disappearing from the cytoplasma of sperm. The exact localization of FSCB on normal sperm is in the flagellar principal piece. Its expression and localization on abnormal sperm was variablely changed:a.No expression on the whole flagellar;b. The expression segment on the flagellar was shift to near the head and become short, suggest this sperm defect middle piece;c. Its distribution on the flagellar showed beads like shape. Conclusion: FSCB is an important constituent protein of the fibrous sheath, is assembled at the surface of fibrous sheath core structure and constitutes the final assembly step of fibrous sheath at the later stages of spermiogenesis. The expression of FSCB in abnormal sperm was significantly changed. The relationship between the abnormal expression of FSCB and the sperm motility need to be further studied.

Objective To evaluate the effect and safety of a modified Prolift procedure, without preceding partial trachelectomy or hysterectomy for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) with coexistent cervical elongation. Methods Clinical data of 72 patients that underwent a modified Prolift procedure for POP with coexistent cervical elongation, between December 2008 and June 2012 in Fuzhou General Hospital of Nanjing Military Command was retrospectively analysed. A comparison was carried out between preoperative and postoperative parameters of pelvic organ prolapse quantitation system (POP-Q), and an objective evaluation was made according to the overall cure rate and recurrence rate. Pelvic floor distress inventory-short form 20 (PFDI-20) was used to investigate the subjective cure rate and improvement of symptoms. Results Patients were followed up at median 52 months (36-78 months). One bladder perforation and one rectum perforation occurred during the procedure. Four patients (6%, 4/72) had uterine prolapse at 9-19 months after the opertaion and had transvaginal hysterectomy laterly. The overall anatomical correction rate was 94%(68/72). Six patients (8%, 6/72) had mesh exposures at 3-9 months after the opertaion. Scores of PFDI-20 decreased sifnificantly after the procedure (118.2±25.2 vs 12.1±8.0 vs 12.5±9.5 vs 13.0±9.9, P<0.05). The patients′ satisfaction rate was 92% (66/72). Conclusion This modified Prolift procedure, without preceding partial trachelectomy or hysterectomy, could effectively and safely correct POP with coexistent cervical elongation.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2006;0(02):-
Traditional sequences of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) such as T1-weighed imaging, T2-weighed imaging, and fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) imaging can sensitively detect the subacute and chronic intracranial hemorrhage; gradient echo sequence can detect various stages of intracranial hemorrhage, but there is no correlation between the signal intensity of the hematoma and the time of the presence of hematoma. Diffusion-weighted imaging and apparent diffusion coefficient may provide more information about the center and surrounding areas of hematoma, as well as the hemorrhagic tendency after infarction.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(07):-
Objective To construct a finite element analytical model of multiloop edgewise arch wire(MEAW),and study its mechanical characteristics. Methods Three-dimensional(3D) model of dentition-bracket-arch wire was set up in an initial graphics exchange specification(IGES) format complex by Pro/E software. The multiloop edgewise arch wire was spliced on the lower dentition. After dividing the arch wire and brackets with quarter-tetrahedron element method, the model was analyzed by ANSYS(an engineering simulation software). Results The finite element analytical model of multiloop edgewise arch wire was successfully built up.Based on the model, when multiloop edgewise arch wire was subjected to a heavy strength in certain parts(such as tooth 3,4),the anti-force strength on the other brackets(such as tooth 1,2,5,6,7) was not so heavy. The subjected strength was light and soft, especially on the first molar. Conclusion The results suggest that the finite element analytical model of multiloop edgewise arch wire built up in the experiment may be used to study the integrated mechanical characteristics, reveal the orthodontic specialty, and discuss the orthodontic mechanisms of multiloop edgewise arch wire techniques.
