1.Effect of Kebimin Spray on Substan on Substance P Contents in Lung and Plasma of Guinea Pigs with Hhypersensitive Rhinitis

To study the antisensitiZation of Chinese drug, Inodel gUinea pigS with hypersensitive thinilistabbed with Kebindn Sray Served as Group l, and substance P(SP) contents in lung and plasma ofGroup I were detected and compared with normal coned group (Group 11),model control groUp(Group ill) and poSitive medicine control group(GrouP ac).The resultS showed that SP content inlung and plasma of Group ill were higher than thais of GrouP 11(P 0.05).SP is an active neuropeptide and over release of SP Inay result in hperetion of the nose.It is indicated that Kebimin SPlaycan inhibit type I alleds by decreasing SP contents in lung and plasma.
2.Changes in bone mineral density and bone turnover in postmenopausal osteoporotic patients treated with ;salmon calcitonin nasal spray

Objective To discuss the treatment effect and application value of salmon calcitonin nasal spray in the patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis.Methods 130 patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis were divided into observation group and control group by random number method,65 cases in each group.The control group was given calcium and alfacalcidol treatment,the observation group received in combination with salmon calcitonin nasal spray treatment.The clinical effect of the two groups was recorded.Results The total effective rate of the treat-ment group was 95.38%,which of the control group was 84.62%,the difference between the two groups was statisti-cally significant (χ2 =4.188,P<0.05 ).After treatment,the tuberosity bone mineral density,femoral neck BMD, L1 -4 lumbar spine bone mineral density of the observation group were (0.69 ±0.15)g/cm2,(0.77 ±0.21)g/cm2, (0.98 ±0.26)g/cm2,which of the control group were (0.52 ±0.08)g/cm2,(0.64 ±0.13)g/cm2,(0.81 ± 0.15)g/cm2,the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (t=8.062,4.243,4.566,all P<0.05).After treatment,the calcitonin,beta collagen fragment,osteocalcin of the observation group were (2.97 ± 0.86)ng/L,(0.11 ±0.01)ng/mL,(7.18 ±1.14)ng/mL,which of the control group were (2.41 ±0.43)ng/L, (0.35 ±0.08)ng/mL,(15.89 ±3.53)ng/mL,the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (t=4.695,24.000,18.930,all P<0.05).Conclusion Salmon calcitonin nasal spray in the treatment of patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis can reduce pain,inhibit osteoclast activity,promote bone formation,prevent bone loss and increase bone mass,it is safe and worthy of popularizing in clinical application.
3.Decompressive Surgery for Massive Hemispheric Infarction

Objective To sum up the experience of decompressive surgery for the acute massive hemispheric infarction to determine its beneficial effects.MethodsRetrospectively study 6 patients receiving early decompressive craniotomy because of deterioration after infarction.Results 5 patients survived,4 of them recovered to the good level of daily activity (Barthel index ≥60) one year after rehabilitation.One senile patient died of pulmonary infection.ConclusionThe decompressive surgery is an effective method on the survival and functionary recovery for the patients with deteriorating massive cerebral infarction.
4.Oral health care during pregnancy: current status and future perspectives

Mounting evidence indicates that oral health during pregnancy is associated with pregnancy outcomes and the oral health of the offspring. Pregnant women in China have a high prevalence of oral diseases, low attendance to oral health care, and an increased burden of untreated oral infectious diseases such as periodontitis and caries. A joint perinatal oral health program between obstetrics and stomatology may improve pregnant women's and their children's oral health outcomes. This paper briefly summarizes the current status of oral health care for pregnant women and the clinical practice in obstetrics and gynecology related to stomatology in China. It provides future perspectives on the potential role of obstetricians and gynecologists in promoting oral health care through developing an interdisciplinary care model.
5.Simultaneous determination of three active compounds in root barks of Dictamnus dasycarpus by RP-HPLC.

OBJECTIVETo develop a RP-HPLC method for simultaneous determination of three active compounds, dictamnine, obacunone and fraxinellone in root bark of Dictamnus dasycarpus and supply a reference for the establishment of the quality standard of D. dasycarpus.
METHODA Kromasil C18 column was used with methanol-water (60:40) as the mobile phase, at the flow rate of 1 mL x min(-1). 236 nm was selected as the detected wavelength.
RESULTThe determined three compounds were well separated with a linear range of 0.0021-0.1060, 0.0201-0.9200 and 0.0102-1.020 g x L(-1), respectively. The recoveries of them were 100.5%, 99.2% and 100.2%, respectively.
CONCLUSIONThis method is simple, rapid and accurate, particularly suitable for the quality control of D. dasycarpus.
