OBJECTIVE:To discuss the economic effectiveness of different therapeutic schemes for the same disease.METH_ODS:104 cases of female's urogenital tract infections of gonococcus combining chlamydia were randomly divided into five gro_ups,which were given ofloxacin(A),levofloxacin hydrochloride(B),clarithromycin(C),azithromycin(D)and ceftriaxone+erythromycin(E)respectively.Using pharmacoeconomic cost-effectiveness analysis method, the five schemes were compared.RES_ULTS:The costs of the five schemes were RMB 351,390,474,633 and 666 yuans, respectively. The ratios between cost and effectiveness were 5.7,4.5,5.5,7.6 and 8.3 in term of curative rate and 4.9,4.1,5.2,7.1 and 7.8 in term of effective rate respectively.CONCLUSION: B and C schemes are the best ones.

Objective To assess the value of serum amyloid A(SAA)in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic pulmonary diseases. Methods Seventy AECOPD patients were randomly chosen. The AECOPD patients were divided into bacterial infection induced group and non-bacterial infection induced group by sputum bacteria culture. Thirty five SCOPD patients were chosen as control group. General data was collected. Lung function ,chest X ray, blood routine,CRP,SAA,IL6 and PCT were deteced and compared in the 3 groups. The diagnostic value of SAA to distinguish bacterial infection induced AECOPD was estimated. Results SAA of both AECOPD sub-groups were significantly higher than that of healthy controls. SAA in infection group is higher that that in exacerba-tion group. In terms of ROC curve,AUC was 0.8682 for SAA to distinguish merging bacterial infection, and the cut-off value was 72.10 mg/L with sensitivity of 94.29% and specificity of 65.71%. Conclusion SAA increases in AECOPD patients, and more obviously in AECOPD patients with bacterial infection. SAA may be used as a reliable biomarker not only to distinguish AECOPD patients from SCOPD patients ,but also distinguish merging bacterial infection during AECOPD.

Objective To observe the effects ofTrametes robiniophila Murr and Isatidis Radix bidirectional fermentation products on the migration and invasion of human breast cancer MCF-7 cells and relevant factors; To discuss relevant mechanism of action. Methods Breast carcinoma cell line MCF-7 was used as research subject in this experiment. Control group, Isatidis Radix group,Trametes robiniophila Murr group, andTrametes robiniophila Murr and Isatidis Radix group were included in the experiment. The effects ofTrametes robiniophila Murr and Isatidis Radix bidirectional fermentation products on MCF-7 cell proliferation were measured by MTT method. Cell scratch assay, transwell assay and adhesion assay were used to measure the effects ofTrametes robiniophila Murrand Isatidis Radix bidirectional fermentation products on the migration, invasion and adhesion capability of MCF-7 cells, respectively. The effects ofTrametes robiniophila Murrand Isatidis Radix bidirectional fermentation products on the mRNA expression of MMP-9 and Vimentin were measured by RT-PCR.Results Compared with Isatidis Radix group andTrametes robiniophila Murrgroup, Trametes robiniophila Murr and Isatidis Radix bidirectional fermentation products could significantly inhibit the proliferation, migration, invasion and adhesion capability of MCF-7 cells (P<0.05). Similarly,Trametes robiniophila Murr and Isatidis Radix bidirectional fermentation products reduced the mRNA expression of MMP-9 and Vimentin (P<0.05).ConclusionTrametes robiniophila Murrand Isatidis Radix bidirectional fermentation products may down-regulate the expression of MMP-9 and Vimentin to inhibit the migration, invasion and adhesion capabilities of MCF-7 cells.
