Objective To investigate the clinical advantages and safety profile of the combinational treatment of acute progressive cerebral infarction with aspirin,clopedogrel and atorvastatin.Methods 170 cases with acute progressive cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,85 patients in each group.Both two groups were initially treated with aspirin and atorvastatin.After excluding the possibility of hemorrhage, the treatment group additionally received clopedogrel,while the control group was treated with aspirin and atorvastatin. The difference in clinical efficacy was evaluated between before treatment and 7 days,14 days or 28 days after treatment by using the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)and Barthel Index (BI).Results The NIHSS scores of the treatment group after 7d,14d and 28d were (12.52 ±3.25)points,(9.10 ±3.21)points and (6.87 ±2.85)points, which of the control group were (13.65 ±2.93)points,(10.73 ±3.41)points and (9.07 ±2.96)points respectively, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(t =2.340,3.170,4.877,all P <0.05).The BI scores of the treatment group after 7d,14d and 28d were (35.26 ±11.18),(53.73 ±13.74)and (74.61 ±17.35), which of the control group were (31.98 ±9.12),(46.65 ±11.79 )and (63.87 ±15.73 )respectively,the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(t =2.131,3.752,4.456,all P <0.05).The overall effective rates of the treatment group after 7d,14d and 28d were 62.7%,79.5% and 94.0%,which of the control group were 51.2%,68.3% and 84.1% respectively.The differences of overall effective rates were statistically significant after 14d and 28d(χ2 =4.711,8.531,all P <0.05).Few reverse reactions were observed in both two groups.Conclusion Compared with the aspirin and atorvastatin therapy,combinational treatment of acute progressive cerebral infarction together with clopedogrel has a better efficacy,safety profile and significant promotion on neurological recovery.

Objective:To isolate and identify the periodontal ligament stem cells.Methods:Periodontal ligament tissues were digested with a mixture of collagenase and Dispase,then the periodontal ligament stem cell clones were isolated by limited dilution method.The transmission electron microscopy(TEM),flow cytometery and immunohistochemistry procedure were employed to study the ultrastructure,cell cycle and surface marker of the cloned cells.Results:The obtained cells showed the characteristics of undifferentiated morphology at ultrastructural level.94.4% of the cells were in phase G_0/G_1.The cells were Vimentin,STRO-1,ON and BSP positive.Conclusion:Cloning incubation may be the effective way to isolate and purify the periodontal ligament stem cells.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect and security of Thermal Moxibustion combined with Yougui Pills in the treatment of premature ovary failure(POF) of spleen and kidney Yang-deficiency.Methods One hundred and forty-two patients with POF of spleen and kidney Yang-deficiency were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,71 cases in each group.The observation group were treated with Thermal Moxibustion combined with Yougui Pills,while the control group took oral Yougui Pills,12 weeks as a course of treatment.After treatment,the clinical therapeutic effects,K upperman score,related hormones levels(E2,FSH,LH) and occurrence rate of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total efficacy rate of the observation group was 95.77％,which of the control group was 77.46％,and the observation group was significantly better than the control group(P＜0.05);there were significant improvement in the Kupperman score and levels of related hormones after treatment in the two groups(P＜0.05),but the improvement degree of the observation group was superior to the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Thermal Moxibustion combined with Yougui Pills can alleviate the clinical symptoms with high safety and higher clinical application value

Objective To Investigate the disorder of colonic epithelium apoptosis and proliferation as well as its role of the epithelial barrier break down in ulcerative colitis(UC). Methods Fifty biopsy specimens were obtained endoscopically from 35 patients of UC and 15 controls respectively.The specimens were used for diagnosis of UC and investigation of epithelium proliferation an d apoptosis by IHC with markers of ki－ 67 and M30 respectively. Results Apopto sis index(marked by M30) and ratio of apoptosis to proliferation increased obvio usly in UC compared with the controls(P0.05);Disorder of epithelium apoptosis an d proliferation take place in UC.Apoptosis cells were found not only at luminal surface but also at the base of crypt;however,proliferation cells may extend to superior part of the crypt. Conclusion Unlimited and premature apoptosis as wel l as disorder of apoptosis to proliferation is maybe one of the causes which lea ding to breakdown of the epithelial barrier function i n UC.

This paper reported a new method of Armillaria mellea isolation-Gastrodia elata tissue isolating. Compared with normal isolating method-rhizomorph isolating method, it showed that the success rate of new method (78% ) was higher than the rhizomorph isolating method (16% ) , besides this, the new method was easier, and growth characteristic of obtained strain was superior to that obtained from rhizomorph isolating method.

The study aimed at investigation the effect of the transgenic biocontrol bacteria 308R(pCPP430) on the tomato rhizosphere bacterial communities. Strain 308R (Pantoea agglomerans), an adnascent bacterium isolated from tomato, was a biocontrol bacterium. The recombinant cosmid pCPP430 contained the hrp gene cluster of Erwinia amylovora was transformed into 308R Strain. Transgenic biocontrol bacterium 308R(pCPP430) produced Harpin protein which induce hypersensitive response and disease resistance in plants and, surprisingly, increase plant growth. Two complementary methods, sole-carbon-source utilization tests (SCSU) and ERIC-PCR, were used to compare the characterization of bacterial communities from three groups of tomato roots dipped in sterilized water, 308R suspended liquid and 308R(pCPP430) suspended liquid. The cluster analysis and principal components analysis of the number of colonies from SCSU indicated consistent differences in the rhizosphere of each group. Cluster analysis of SCSU data showed that there were consistent differences in the rhizosphere of each group. The rhizosphere bacteria communities of root dipped with 308R(pCPP 430) and 308R have a relative good replication, but the differences of corresponding replicates in dipped with distilled water was increased by degrees. Cluster analysis of ERIC-PCR fingerprints revealed that most of results (eight in ten) have overlaps between roots dipped in water and those dipped in 308R liquid. The methods used in this study may prove a useful approach for the comparison of bacterial communities.

Objective To learn the control status of iodine deficiency disorders in Baoji City of Shaanxi Province.Methods From 2009 to 2011,according to the National Iodized Salt Monitoring Program,the iodized salt was monitored,and thyroid was examined in 12 counties(areas) of Baoji City.According to rural and urban area stratification,60 children aged 8 to 10 were selected in each county(district),and their urine samples were collected for determination of iodine content.In 2011,per capita daily salt intake was surveyed by the three weighing method at children's home whose urine was collected.Chencang Area,Fufeng County and Taibai County,representatives of Baoji City different geomorphic features were selected for investigation of water iodine,and urinary iodine of pregnant and lactating women,and 15 people were selected in each county (district).Results From 2009-2011,in the 12 counties(areas) in Baoji City,the coverage rate of iodized salt was all 100.00％(3468/3468); the qualified rate of iodized salt and the consumption rate of qualified iodized salt were all ＞ 99.00％.Children's goiter rate was 3.41％(87/2548),3.06％(77/2520) and 3.33％(84/2520),and they were all less than that of the national standard (＜ 5％).Medians of urinary iodine of 8-10 years old children were 368.20,293.80 and 332.50 μg/L,respectively,and the ratios of urine iodine ≥300 μg/L were accounted for 66.42％ (797/1200),48.05％(692/1440) and 56.67％(816/1440),respectively.Median urinary iodine of pregnant women was 301.81 μg/L and lactating women was 329.79 μg/L.A total of 1116 households were investigated,the median of per capita daily salt intake was 8.9 g.Eighteen water samples were collected,range of water iodine value were 0.60-10.25 μg/L.Conclusions Iodine nutrition in general population of Baoji City is exceeded the optimum level,and the current iodized salt concentration has some down space,but fully consideration should be taken on iodine needs in different iodine deficiency areas and among different groups of people.
