1.EFFECTS OF GESTATIONAL TOBACOO AND ALCOHOL EXPOSURE ON STATURE AND NEURAL DEVELOPMENT OF OFFSPRING IN MICE
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 2004;0(05):-
Objective: To investigate the effect of prenatal tobacco and alcohol exposure on stature and neural development of offspring. Methods: Female mice were exposed to tobacco smoke and alcohol drink from D6 of pregnancy to parturition. The early physical development, neurobehavioral and antioxidative functions were measured in offspring mice. Results: Compared with control, offspring subjected to prenatal exposure showed significant reduced body and organ weights as well as reduced gestational body weight gain. It also resulted in remarkable prolonged neonatal reflexes and reduced motive, coordinative and locomotor activities. Step-down and Y-maze tests revealed marked destroyed memory and learning ability. Futhermore, MDA in offspring brain cytosol and mitochondria increased significantly and the activities of SOD, GSH-Px, CAT and GST were decreased. Conclusion: Prenatal tobacco and alcohol exposures interfere with the early physical and neural development in mice, probably related to decreased antioxidative functions.
2.Treating primary dysmenorrhea by lingtong capsule: a randomized double-blind clinical observation.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2014;34(4):439-441
OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical effect of Lingtong Capsule (LC) in treating primary dysmenorrhea (PD).
METHODSTotally 59 PD patients took LC, while 59 patients in the placebo group took placebo capsule, two pills immediately when they felt dysmenorrhea. Their pain levels were quantitatively classified. The pain score was assessed at an interval of 30 min using visual analogue scale/score (VAS) while taking medicine and within two h after taking medicine. It was assessed as effective when the pain level was reduced by more than or equal to 50% within 2 h.
RESULTSThe total effective rate was 69.49% (41/ 59) in the LC group and 20.34% (12/59) in the placebo group (P < 0.01). The analgesia effect was obviously superior in the LC group 60 min after taking medicine (P < 0.01). LC showed better effect in treating mild, moderate, and severe PD (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONLC showed obvious analgesia effect on PD.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(05):-
Disuse-related osteopenia is mainly due to decrease of bone formation which relates closely to the changes of osteoblast function and differentiation. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells which are multipotent cells present in bone marrow can differentiate into osteoblast. The factors which regulate the osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were introduced. This will increase the understanding and aid in the prevention and treatments of bone loss to create a healthier life for astronauts and patients after disuse.

5.Clinical Application of ?-Lactamase Inhibitor Antibiotics
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(06):-
OBJECTIVE To know of the application status of ?-lactamase inhibitor antibiotics in our hospital, promote the compliance of Guideline for application of antibiotics, and cut down the abusing or irrationally using of antibiotics.METHODS Retrospective cohort research was used to review the medical records of 1184 patients left our hospital.Based on the inspection results,to select following 98 inpatients to do prospective research and correct those problems found in the retrospective research.RESULTS There were 71 cases in the prospective research who had applied antibiotics,in which 23 cases had used ?-lactamase inhibitor antibiotics;20 cases with precautious application,18 cases underwent type Ⅰ operation and used antibiotics for 2 to 10 days;2 cases underwent type Ⅱ operation and used antibiotics for 5 to 6 days;2 cases underwent type Ⅲ operation;3 cases of internal medicine patients had been treated with ?-lactamase inhibitor antibiotics for 10 days, not selected by the type of bacteria and the result of drug sensitivity test, and no analysis records in the progress note.CONCLUSIONS In surgical departments, use antibiotics as preventive measurements even after clean operation which lack indications and choose over estimated level of ?-lactamase inhibitor antibiotics and combine medication for post-operation preventive medicine. When treating ordinary infections,Internal department had chose antibiotics which should be used for difficult diseases caused by resistant microbes. Most patients do not have undergone bacteria cultivation and drug sensitivity test before applying antibiotics. Therefore the management of antibiotics should be enhanced.
6.Protective effect of recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide on acute renal injury induced by endotoxin in canines
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2014;(3):44-47,51
Objective To observe the influence of recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide(rhBNP)on serum HMGB1 levels in canines'acute renal injury induced by endotoxin and explore its protective role of rhBNP in protecting canines'kidney against acute renal injury. Methods A total of 20 healthy dogs were randomly divided into four groups:blank group, sepsis shock group,low-dose intervention group and high dose intervention group, and there were 5 rats in each group. After establishing the model of canines'sepsis shock induced by endotoxin,15 canines (besides blank group)were randomly divided into 3 groups. As follows,5 μg/kg rhBNP was given to the low-dose intervention group,10μg/kg rhBNP was given to the high-dose intervention group. But nothing was given to control group.Systemic vascular resistance index(SVRI)at 0 h,2 h,4 h,8 h,12 h were observed by PICCO instrument.High mobility group box 1 protein (HMGB-1)and creatinine(CR)in blood samples at each time point were detected. After 12 hours, kidney samples were taken for histological examination. Results The results revealed that some renal tubulars epithelial cell were swelled, some epithelial cells were atrophy and interstitial cells swelled in control group under the light microscope.Kidney pathology score was 2-3.But these changes were improved in low-and high-dose intervention groups, and there were no significant difference in the latter two groups, kidney of both groups pathology score were 1-2.Compared with control group at the same point,CR of blood serum were significantly decreased in low-dose intervention group at 8 h,12 h(P<0.01), and high-dose intervention group significantly decreased at 4 h,8 h,12 h(P<0.01).Compared with low-dose intervention group at the same point,CR of blood serum in high-dose intervention group were significantly decreased at 4 h,8 h,12 h (P<0.05).Compared with control group at the same point, systemic vascular resistance index(SVRI)were significantly decreased in low-dose intervention group at 2 h (P<0.01 ),but significantly decreased in high-dose intervention group at 2 h and 4 h (P<0.01).Compared with low-dose intervention group at the same point,SVRI in high-dose intervention group were significantly decreased at 4 h (P<0.05 ).Compared with control group at the same point, the expressions of high mobility group box 1 protein (HMGB-1)in blood serum in low- and high-dose intervention groups were significantly decreased(P<0.01);Compared with low-dose intervention group at the same point, the expressions of HMGB-1 in blood serum in high-dose intervention group were significantly decreased (P<0.05).Conclusion rhBNP can effectively reduce canine kidney tissue injury mediated by endotoxin and improve kidney function, reduce SVRI,and its therapeutic effect of rhBNP was in a dose-response relationship.rhBNP can effectively reduce HMGB-1 levels in blood serum of sepsis shock canines, which may be associated with the decrease of late inflammatory factor HMGB1.

10.The accuracy of arterial blood gas analysis in detecting electrolytes and anionic gap in ICU patients
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2017;40(3):240-243
Objective To explore the accuracy of bedside arterial blood gas analyzer in detecting electrolytes and anionic gap (AG) in ICU patients, and compare it with auto-analyzer. Methods Results of blood sodium, potassium, chlorine, bicarbonate ions and AG measured by arterial blood gas analyzer and auto- analyzer of 376 ICU adult patients admitted to ICU were retrospectively analyzed. With the outcomes of auto-analyzer as standard, the correlation and difference of electrolytes and AG measured by 2 methods were analyzed. Results The sodium, potassium, chlorine and AG measured by auto-analyzer were 121 - 183 mmol/L, 2.13 - 6.77 mmol/L, 86 - 146 mmol/L and 1 - 62 mmol/L. The blood sodium, potassium, chlorine and AG measured by arterial blood gas analyzer were 114 - 180 mmol/L, 1.78 - 6.36 mmol/L, 94 - 150 mmol/L, -7 - 40 mmol/L. The blood sodium, potassium and AG measured by arterial blood gas analyzer were lower than those measured by auto-analyzer, but the blood chlorine was higher than that measured by auto- analyzer. There were statistical differences in the difference of low, normal and high electrolytes and AG between 2 methods (P<0.01). Conclusions The electrolytes and AG measured by arterial blood gas analyzer and auto-analyzer are significantly different, and the electrolytes measured by arterial blood gas analyzer are unreliable to calculate AG.
