2.Research progress of alogliptin in treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(10):868-871
Alogliptin is a novel dipeptide peptidase-4 inhibitor approved for the treatment of type 2 diabetic mellitus.Numerous clinical studies showed that alogliptin alone or in combination with other oral antidiabetic drugs or insulin can substantially control the level of plasma glucose and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in type 2 diabetic patients.12.5 to 25 mg alogliptin alone once daily reduced HbA1c by 0.56% to 0.59% ; while combination with other antidiabetic agents resulted additional HbA1c lowering of 0.4% to 0.8%.Alogliptin was well tolerated, with low incidence of hypoglycemia and no weight gain.Furthermore, alogliptin displayed no extra cardiovascular risk in patients with cardiovascular diseases.
3.An information system evaluation tool built with customer satisfaction model theory
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2010;26(5):361-364
This research applied the theory of customer satisfaction model in the evaluation of the clinical information system. By means of qualitative and quantitative methods, it made validity and reliability measurement on the measurement tools in use. In addition, it extracted the structure validity of the factor regulating scale via a factor analysis, and developed the scale for clinical information system measurement These efforts provided the hospitals with the useful measurement tool to improve their information system, promoting positive and practical hospital informationziation.
4.Clinical Value of N-terminal Pro-brain Natriuretic Peptide and Cardial Troponin I for Evaluating the Patients With Acute Pulmonary Embolism Combining Right Ventricular Dysfunction
Chinese Circulation Journal 2015;30(5):446-448
Objective: To explore the clinical value of N-terminal Pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-ProBNP) and cardial troponin I (cTnI) for evaluating the patients with acute pulmonary embolism (APE) combining right ventricular dysfunction (RVD). Methods: A total 92 APE patients treated in our hospital were studied. The blood levels of NT-ProBNP and cTnI were measured on next morning of administration and echocardiography was performed within 24 hours of APE diagnosis. According to echocardiographic results, the patients were divided into 2 groups: APE with RVD group,n=47 and APE without RVD group,n=45. Blood levels of NT-ProBNP and cTnI were compared between 2 groups. Results: Compared with APE without RVD group, APE with RVD group presented increased levels of NT-ProBNP, cTnI and right ventricular end-diastolic diameter (RVEDD), allP<0.01. ROC curve analysis found that both AUC of NT-ProBNP and cTnI > 90%, the optimum operating point for NT-ProBNP and cTnI were 554 pg/ml and 0.09 ng/ml respectively. Logistic regression analysis showed that NT-ProBNP (r=1.227,P=0.005), cTnI (r=0.862,P=0.016), right ventricular dysfunction (r=0.936,P=0.008) and heart rate (r=0.809,P=0.023) were related to poor prognosis for in-hospital patients. Conclusion: Blood levels of NT-ProBNP and cTnI may help diagnosing the patients with acute pulmonary embolism with right ventricular dysfunction, it may also predict the short term prognosis in clinical practice.
5.The influence of course experience and course engagement on learning outcomes
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2015;31(22):1639-1644
Objective To explore the relationship of course experience, course engagement and learning outcomes in medical nursing. Methods Adapted Course Experience Questionnaire and Selfestablished Course Engagement Questionnaire were used to collect data of 142 nursing undergraduates of which 126 were valid. The data were analyzed by regression analysis. Results Course experience had significant impact on course engagement,t=4.621,2.477,4.538,P<0.01 or 0.05.Course engagement had significant impact on learning outcomes,t=2.439,P< 0.05.Course experience had significant impact on learning outcomes,P< 0.05.Conclusions It is proposed that the clinical courses should provide students with good experience, increase the deep learning engagement, and reform evaluation methods to improve the students' academic achievement.
6.Discussion on the elements of quality assurance of training the doctoral students of traditional Chinese medicine
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(7):654-656
The current enrollment system, curriculum, teacher quality, the quality of doctoral thesis research and scientific research and innovation ability are the main factors influencing the quality of doctoral cultivation of traditional Chinese medicine. By analyzing these influence factors, the article try to explore traditional Chinese culture quality assurance factors of doctoral students, that is, to control the quality of students, to clear training objectives, to strengthen the responsibility of instructors, to supervise the quality and training of scientific research and innovation ability of students and so on.
7.Diagnosis and treatment of catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia
International Journal of Pediatrics 2021;48(2):82-86
Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia is a rare hereditary ion channel disease, which mainly affects children and young adults.Clinically, the pathogenic genes of CPVT in adolescents are mainly RYR2, CASQ2, TRDN, CALM1 and TRD.Currently, beta blockers remain the first-line treatment for CPVT, and moderate exercise training is considered as an effective potential synergism for CPVT patients.Implantable cardioverter defibrillators are commonly used in the treatment of CPVT, but inappropriate shocks and device-related complications need to be carefully considered before implantation.Flecainide has been shown to be effective therapeutic agent, especially for the treatment of resistant CPVT cases with beta blockers.Left cardiac sympathetic denervation has also shown to be highly effective in preventing CPVT symtoms and cardiac events, and a combination of beta blockers can precede implantable cardioverter defibrillator implantation.
9.Variation of asthma patient's quality oflife after anti-inflammation treatment
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2000;0(03):-
Aim To evaluate the influence of asthma and the effect of anti-inflammation therapy on the quality of life (QOL) in allergic asthma patients. Methods The QOL of 45 patients with asthma were investigated by collecting questionnaire before and after three months anti-inflammation treatment , at the same time the serum eosinophil cationic protein(ECP) level was detected in 20 patients. The QOL questionnaire included 4 domains, they were respiratory symptoms, physical activity limitation, emotional function and environmental stimuli. Results The factors which influenced the QOL in asthma patients ranging from high to low were environmental stimuli, respiratory symptom and emotion function and physical activity limitation. After anti-inflammation treatment, the QOL was significantly improved and the serum ECP was decreased (P
10.Recent progress in molecular genetics and therapy for X-linked juvenile retinoschisis
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(1):94-96
Juvenile retinoschisis (RS or XLRS,MIM#312700)is a rare X-linked inherited disorder, mainly affects bilateral retina, and is characterized by cartwheel-like changes of the macular region of the retina and schisis or splitting within the inner retinal layers, leading to visual deterioration. The electroretinogram is beneficial in the diagnosis of juvenile retinoschisis. The a-wave can be of normal or nearly normal amplitude in this disorder, whereas the amplitude of the b-wave is appreciably reduced, giving a decrease in the proportion of b/a.The responsible gene,XLRSl,maps to Xp22 and was identified by positional cloning. This paper makes a brief review about the latest XLRS research of pathogenesis, animal experiments, clinical therapy, and 25 references are cited.
